661  Other / Off-topic / Re: Looking for good Paleo Diet recipes on: October 10, 2012, 09:43:26 PM
Mark's Daily Apple is great.
Another huge Paleo recipe site is Everyday Paleo: http://everydaypaleo.com/2011/07/10/everyday-paleo-no-potato-salad/ - that's a link to a recipe I tried a few weeks ago, it was great.
A smaller site I used to check every day is http://paleograd.blogspot.com/ -  lots of really good dinner ideas. - found this on Paleo Hacks.
Last but definitely not least: http://ieatmostlymeat.com/

The Paleo Diet has solved a ton of health problems for me and everyone I know who has tried it. Most grains cause problems (for most people) but GMO grains are basically poison...it's amazing how many allergies and diseases you can develop if your immune system is constantly at war with everything you eat.

While I appreciate Poe's Law very much, and lending requests often seem very silly to me, I think the OP was pretty straightforward with his satire. Some people are just oblivious. This guy is apparently so oblivious he doesn't even read the names next to the posts.
663  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking a 10,000 BTC Loan on: October 10, 2012, 06:20:34 PM
How would the lender make more money with this loan than buying the hardware themselves?
What will you do if the bfl bubble bursts and you have given 10k which is not yours to them, how will you pay back then?
Why is it relavent that you are a -good- video game player?
How are you the best miner in the world? What makes you better than others?
There is no need to 'pick stocks', as you will not be buying any, just letting other buy them.
What interest are you offering?
Do you have a grammar problem?
How are you going to 'mine every coin out there before you'?

Seriously?
You want 10k BTC and don't expect questions to be asked?
Seriously?

Why is BTC in the title? Can you cash out in-game currency for BTC?

I'm very glad to hear that Trace has a better understanding of network security now. He always gives a good interview.

670  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: bitfloor needs your help! on: October 04, 2012, 04:57:36 PM
Roman,

Please tell us why Chase deposits into Bitfloor are not available this morning. Makes me wonder if your account was frozen by Chase.

It was not frozen but they are closing it (details of which are private). I will be moving to a new cash deposit system which will also include more banks; however the transition will take a few weeks. The new system will continue to allow for free deposits. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to anyone using the Chase deposits.
So Chase deposits are not coming back? The webpage says "Chase deposits are temporarily unavailable." Just curious as it is my main method of deposit.

When I'm in the mood for this sort of service, I just call 9-11 and ask what the operator is wearing.

funny, but if someone is dying and needed help while you're taking the emergency operator's time then shame on you~
I now believe you are female.

Paypal has a chargeback Bitcoin does not. So I definetly wont be accepting paypal unless there is some guarantee that I am not aware of?

Bitcoinary has a reputation system. But there are also known trusted businesses that do btc -> pp. https://fastcash4bitcoins.com/ is one, but I'm not sure of the fees nor if there are better ones because I haven't done it myself.

didnt that guy Pirate@40 have a good reputation at one point to? Ill check out the fastchas4bitcoins.com. Thanks Smiley
Are you sure you're new? Wink

Fastcash4bitcoins can send you PayPal without any real risk.
673  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Urgent 20 BTC Micro Loan Needed pay back in 72 hours on: October 02, 2012, 06:01:47 PM
I've heard from other sources bitcoin talk can be a bit rough now I see exactly what they mean!
I'm very glad to hear that the scammer forums you frequent are reporting that it's a bit rough over here. Please feel free to go back and confirm with them that you got called out on your horseshit immediately.
674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Urgent 20 BTC Micro Loan Needed pay back in 72 hours on: October 02, 2012, 03:13:45 PM
Just out of curiosity, which school is it that starts its Fall semester in October?

I take online classes because I have to work during the day! And I have to get the remainder of my bill paid
So the implication behind your non-answer is that your online classes' tuition can be paid when you want to take the class instead of on a normal semester schedule. Awesome! Guess it's not urgent at all, but can be dealt with when you are able to make the money yourself. Problem solved!

676  Other / Off-topic / Re: Give Bitcoins to Homeless Jackie! on: October 01, 2012, 11:13:33 PM
Okay, Raize has sent me the evidence indicating that Jackie is a male prankster with an unsavory online background.
I couldn't be less surprised to hear this. Is he someone else who's been tagged or banned here before?
677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Volume in recent weeks has fallen off a cliff, what do you make of it? on: October 01, 2012, 05:39:11 PM

678  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: September 30, 2012, 09:56:34 PM
volavak : you should start a bet at http://betsofbitco.in/ , you could make some coin if you are right.

I strongly encourage volavak to put his money where his mouth is by betting against http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=665
There are 50 coins for you to win...

Seeing as how he just registered 3 days ago and likely has an ulterior motive, I wouldn't be holding my breath on that.
679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simply looking to purchase bitcoins for personal use on: September 30, 2012, 09:49:40 PM
So get a paper check from Paypal.
680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simply looking to purchase bitcoins for personal use on: September 30, 2012, 09:41:51 PM
Why can't you use ACH to withdraw from Paypal, or request a check?
