Building and Scaling or sometimes called as Selling are two core components of a company's success in capturing the market share of an industry. If the company has built great products and provides an edge over their competitors in terms of quality and affordability, they have indeed Built the product which can dethrone the competitor but scaling is equally important in making the created product reach the mass audience. To scale a product, either you need to market a good product as much as you can so that you have reached the target audience but once you have reached the target audience with a strong product the product will eventually find it's way to make profits or you need to find a niche product which is higher in demand and one which can take the humanity from zero to one. Well, if you have indeed found such a product investing lesser percentage in marketing is always advisable as your product will eventually spread like a wildfire in the industry and thereby dominate the monopolies even one day. OpenAI, the company behind Chat-GPT used the latter concept where they created a very strong product which had higher demand and took the humanity from zero to one by solving multiple problems which we have been facing in our daily lives. OpenAI never advertised Chat-GPT but they were one among the fastest app to reach one million users in a matter of five days. OpenAI believed in their product and the word of mouth favored them along with the investments and partnerships from Microsoft has made them a market leader in Artificial Intelligence space. To the contrary, I know a crypto company personally which received huge funding from various investors during the 2021 bull run in their seed round but they built an extremely poor product which was easily replaceable in the market and had spent almost 40% of the seed funding on marketing unnecessarily. The end result was that, the company is in a mere bankruptcy and the whole company would fail miserably thereby putting the entire investors funding at risk. It's equally important that every company build a great product which can never be replaced and market them appropriately so that the product reach the target audience and then the word of mouth strategy picks up from that. I would like to point out a famous quote from Naval Ravikant who is a modern day business philosopher : Quote Be a maker who makes something interesting people want. Show your craft, practice your craft, and the right people will eventually find you.

Though Safepal has never open-sourced their software, they are planning to do so in the near future but the backing from Binance is one of the biggest selling point for them. On the other hand, the first wallet which you have purchased (Trezor) is completely open source including it's hardware and software which allows us to verify the code rather than trusting the makers blindly in storing our assets. Since you are unable to find an official reseller for Trezor/Ledger in your country yet, it is always better to purchase them straight from the official website instead of trusting Amazon where the fake sellers deliver us with malicious products which can be risky for storing larger amount of funds. With regards to storing the seedphrase, one viable solution for storing them safely is to engrave them in simple metal washers and to load them onto a screw and locking them with a nut at the bottom. @fillippone has written a great detailed thread on Securing Your Seed Phrase with Washers and it has helped really a lot of people in storing the seeds safely in a secure location. You can purchase a Blockmit Jig from cryptocloaks for $8 instead of 3D printing them on your own as well. The maximum cost for creating such a secure way of seed storing would cost no more than $25 for you and probably you can reuse the Jigs and Metal stamps for recreating your seeds indefinitely.

But with the rise of crypto centered social platforms such as discord and telegram, it has become relatively easier for the applicant to gain a job provided they have good connections with other hardcore crypto enthusiasts and they have established themselves in the community with a good track record of handling insane level of participation and posts. With regards to being a moderator at platforms such as reddit, you won't be paid as it is a voluntary work and getting anything in return will go against the rules of reddit as well. I currently serve as a mod of r/BitcoinIndia which is one of the most popular crypto platforms in the country where we cumulatively handle an average subscriber traffic of more than 115k bitcoiners. When it comes to forum where you get paid for the moderation you do, as I have already stated in a thread you need to gain tremendous level of trust and report a lot of shitposts from a particular section for you to be considered for the role. How I became a mod of r/bitcoinIndia was a kinda boring story and I think this happened back when the sub-reddit was so small with 5k bitcoiners and I have been reporting shitposts and requested myself for the role as a helping hand to the head mod of the sub. When Bitcoin boomed during the last bull run, eventually a lot of bitcoiners from India joined and the sub started gaining traction and hence it became a popular and large sub of the country

While software wallets whose source are verifiable and open-source are entirely safe to use but on the other hand hardware wallets such as Ledger require us to do KYC to use quite a few of their features and for receiving the wallet on the customer end. Some libertarians such as Lopp has went to greater extremes to own a house to receive hardware wallets and to do the KYC. Through this way, they should be able to maximize their anonymity thereby feeling safer from hacks which has happened in Ledger at the past. I would recommend if someone is planning to own a large sum of Bitcoin, they should be opting out the Lopp's way of hiding one's identity as we can never be sure or trust centralized companies such as Ledger, Trezor or Keepkey with our information. When Ledger's email and address database leaked, many individuals who had purchased wallets from the website were contacted by scammers and were threatened in the process. On top of that if you really want to maximize your anonymity and be safer from hacks while dealing with large amount of bitcoin, it would be better to use open source OS's such as Linux too. Nowadays storing seed words on cloud storages has been increasingly dangerous as the company providing such services has the ability to always work towards governments and seize our digital assets.

Bitcoin and Ethereum were created for entirely different purposes and they are indeed serving the targeted audience instead of shitcoins which has been created just to lure the maximum money from investors. Cryptocurrency market as we know today have outgrown only because of the builders who were present on Ethereum and not on Bitcoin. Bitcoin on the other hand, never allows the developers to build solutions on top of the currency unlike Ethereum which has been created for the sole purpose of improving the usability of cryptocurrencies other than using them as a mere currency as opposed to the governments. I have been a hardcore Bitcoin enthusiast in the past and I would like to admit that sadly, but after learning about the technicalities of Ethereum back in 2020 and becoming a Smart Contract Developer recently my respect towards the Ethereum community has risen significantly. Ethereum was never meant to be used as a Digital Gold and stacking them would never be as fruitful or profitable as Bitcoin since Bitcoin is finite and never rises up in supply unlike other Smart Contract currencies such as ETH, BNB, SOL or MATIC which acts as a fuel for the smart contract platforms. As @elevates pointed out, large volume traders and individuals or businesses who have immersed their feet too much into the crypto space have already moved onto other countries where the regulatory framework is much more favorable or taxation of cryptocurrencies are far lower than India. Interestingly, CoinDCX has been playing favorable to the Indian government since the beginning as they never allow us to withdraw nor deposit crypto which goes completely against the aphorism of decentralized cryptocurrencies Additionally, It is becoming increasingly difficult for regulatory crypto businesses such as exchanges to survive in our country whereas, businesses which consist mostly of backend work have made India their prominent destination to hire blockchain engineers. WazirX founders, on the other hand have generated tremendous amount of wealth with their false claims and marketing propaganda and it won't really be a surprise if they close the exchange sooner than later. IMO, if you believe in the potential of cryptocurrencies just like how geeks believed in the potential of Internet in 1990s it is better to take steps and move out of the country ASAP.

We have been requesting for a dedicated moderator for almost 3+ years but I don't think it is as easy as it seem to be. Bitcointalk is the oldest and most respected crypto forum on the internet and theymos considers a lot of factors before appointing some random internet stranger as a moderator. As bitcointalk involves with dealing of millions of dollars, this role can be easily abused by a stranger. On top of that, a moderator should have gained enormous amount of trust from the community and they should have significant "Good" report count on their account as well before even being considered for the role. eaLiTy is probably facing personal issues after the failure of FTX and we couldn't comment on their activity in the last few months. OTOH, Scammers have been targeting our board ever since the beginning and some way or the other we report these posts actively and the thread gets trashed immediately within a day.
