Complete absence of panic noted.

You can only sell your ammo once!
1682  Economy / Speculation / Re: I get the creeps of the fractal behavior of bitcoin. on: February 04, 2015, 11:56:52 PM
Last few weeks the price follows a perfect fractal movement, it's insane.
I traded on this behavior and made profit.

Why does it behave like this?

Do we really live in a simulated universe like some people suggest?

What's the price going to do next then?

The thing that the majority believes it won't do.

But findftp says he knows what it will do if it keeps following his perfect fractal movement.

Which is true, until he becomes a member of the majority.

This is going a bit catch22..

Yeah I'm sure many prospective buyers can't wait for the chance to increase the value of DPRs coins which now officially belong to the FEDs.

What exactly are you going on about?

Well the rest of his Bitcoins are bound to be somewhere.

I would buy some shares in microsoft but I won't because it will push up the value of Paul Allen's holdings..

Not really much of an argument.

What the DPR articles do is bring bitcoin into the MSM again for average joe.

Has anyone else thought that the winklis are opening their "gemini" exchange out of despair because they know that their ETF won´t be approved?

Which rock have you crawled back out from under all of a sudden?
1686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2015, 09:24:25 PM
So manipulators gonna quickly pump btc before huge dump on next 80k btc auction date news.

Don't quote the troll please.

Just flew through the regs, they look pretty good. They softened up on the foreign transactions, now it's "due diligence" by the licensee. AML seems to be improved too, requiring the licensee to do it themselves. Not 100% about that one.

Now the year can begin...

Good luck trolls!
1689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2015, 07:58:39 PM
NY regs out...

I really wouldn't dare to say that with such determination. Bitcoin has been therefore and it might fall back there again. I still believe that it will stabilize in the 50-100 dollar range, with my guess being closer to 50 than 100. This year will bring us further valueing of Bitcoin on the basis of its true use, which is extremely limited at this point. Also: the bear market is not reversing for the time being, so it's a safe bet that it will keep going down further.

You seem to have fallen into the trap of thinking that bitcoin was ever valued on 'the basis of it's true use' and we will return to that point.

It is not my idiosyncrasy to be ironic or sarcastic, but if you bother to un-ignore yourself
and read what you post a second time, you will have to agree that they're utterly monotonic
and dull. I clearly doubt if ANYONE reads you since 99.9% here have you on ignore.

Do you mind altering your methods and try to fit in? This is clearly NOT working for you anymore.  Undecided Roll Eyes

Please don't quote him.

Nice volatility today.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 01:31:09 PM
This is about to drop. The only question is how much.

Wishing the price down again are we?

Price up - 'price about to drop'
Price level - 'price about to drop'
Price fallen - 'price about to drop!!!'

A fun game would be these jokers posting their trades.

Edit: especially a contrarian indicator like NHJT

Its fundamentals and basic assummptions have been shown to be wrong. The hype is over. Bitcoin today is as good as any other coin with such bad fundamentals. After this it appears to be wildly overvalued.

I would predict a continuated trading along the linear decending line. Bottom? Not so much ...

awesome, you are exercising a technical chart analysis and mix it up with "fundamentals and basic assumptions".

Never, ever compare a peach with an orange! Smiley

And in the same thread admits he is allegedly short from 300.

The end of this bear market is going to surprise a lot of 'traders'..(but but but the line on the chart pointed down!!)
1696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: February 02, 2015, 07:12:25 PM
I am somewhat surprised Cypherdoc allows obvious trolls to post on this thread.

It may well be the last vestige of intelligent conversation within the fora. What a great shame it would be for this thread to be derailed down to the depths like the rest of the forum!
1697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 06:59:11 PM
Someone post a tumbleweed (and stop quoting the resident troll).

1698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the ride of your life? on: February 02, 2015, 06:55:56 PM
There won't be another bubble. Last bubble to $1000 was due to Chinese. There is nobody else.

There is nobody else?  Please.  Most ignorant comment I've read in a while...

On this forum that is quite the accolade! Smiley
1699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin went out of exponential trend into linear downtrend [TA inside] on: February 02, 2015, 06:54:09 PM
Good luck with your short though I suspect you are a bit late old chap.

Posting a chart after the price has dropped 80% (as of today, though of course 87% at the recent capitulation low) and predicting the price will follow the same trajectory downwards is great. Let me know how that works out for you.

I look forward to seeing you posting from the same account and with some updated charts in six months! Smiley
1700  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who predicts Bitcoins will drop below $10 ? Who is planning to buy, if it does? on: February 02, 2015, 06:22:52 PM
Wow, posts like these from 2011 put everything into perspective. The price actually went below $10. Way below that even. And yet it started to climb again and reached $1000 back in November 2013. People need to realize these things have happened before in Bitcoin and may repeat over and over again. We're not screwed at all in my opinion! Smiley

yes, but back then nobody has heard of btc and the news didn't propagate through the internet at that point. When they did the bubble happened. These days everyone knows Bitcoin and finding new buyers for overvalued coins becomes harder and harder

In my opinion Bitcoin hasn't even reached any significant mainstream-investor-adoption. Even if the whole current market cap was invested in Bitcoin (which it isn't) we'd still be talking about a rather small amount of money - compared to the potential upsides.

yes, marketcap is so small because everyone was buying bitcoin and that bled out the money to the miners. All of crypto-industry could be 3 or 4 times as big already (or even more) if people wouldn't have bought BTC  but a less inflationary coin instead. I will be waiting and looking if people get wise or if irrationality prevails.

@the other: yes, call me a troll for being a bear on btc and correct all year long. People called bears trolls on 800$, on 600$, on 300$ ... #justsayin'
trend is your friend (well, not the bulls friend certainly)

You arent a troll, you are just an obvious alt sock puppet shilling for alt coins.

How do we know you have been right? Where are your calls from 9 months ago? Any newbie can turn up saying they have been correct for months.
