To be honest,it is really not a very good distribution.
1/2740=0.00036 and ~but we (the core development team) will keep the promise of taking the maximum of 10% of NEM for personal compensation to deliver the community a complete NEM V1 blockchain. ~

Are you kidding me?I'm really disappointed and I will not buy any nem coins in the future.
10% for developers is a fair share. They worked hard and organised such a massive project and distribution. They deserve to be rewarded. Yes, they wanted to get rich so organised this project. But they also create some money/btc for us for just trolling 10% =400 shake/5 or 6 =60-80 shake/person fair? We have only 1 shake but His cake is 60-80 times as big as mine. Does that seem fair to you? WTF I made a promise to myself that I will act nice when it comes to things regarding NEM because I want to respect the movement. I'm going to say this as nice as possible. You are not seeing the big picture here. You are very short-sighted. Missing the point in a very very idiotic way. Open your eyes and take the lint out of your ears. 60 times more for the CREATORS than the guy who just CAME to what these guys CREATED!! That for one is the best deal I have seen. Look around, but follow my advice above first. SMH +1 10% shares for devs is ok and normal NEM devs are taking smallest piece of (THEIR) cake in whole cryptocoin history RESPECT +1 |

Allright, if you have better ideas, I'm all ears. I don't support nem charity at this point, just tried to give an example from the real life.
Why do we have to give the raised money to any foundation ? Your example is a perfect case that we should do charity in the most decentralized and direct manner. NEM community should bring in cases as such and we will decide the direct delivery of the charity proceeds to the ones in needs. Perhaps put in a Youtube video afterward for a promotional purpose. or buy commercial like dodge comm. did it |

When people do the math, and realize what promotional power 15% of NEM (>5000 BTC), plus over 1000 unique stakeholders will bring to future value, I see these stakes at auction going for a mega-shit-ton. Then, this makes the 15% worth even more. Its an amazing idea.

To remind everyone that the current final stakeholder list does not include the waiting list yet. I will contact the waiting list in a few days to invite them in. However I would like to write a brief proposal on the NEM governance and and future road map first.
It would also serve as an additional source of information for people planning to participate in NEM auction later on.

Instead of giving stakes to people on waiting list, can we give them to the owners of popular exchanges?

great idea maybe give 1/2 stake to 120 member on waiting list for 0.01BTC, 1 stake to 120 auction member, and for exchanges owners give 2 or 3 stakes to 2-3 bigest exchanges sites. Others will add for free Now month or 2 from putting NEM in distribution, selling stake per 0.1 BTC is attack on marketvalue of NEM |
