1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inputs.IO still a Bitcoin Foundation Silver Member on: November 25, 2013, 10:41:43 PM
I'm losing patience and getting pissed off, here.

I (and apparently several other people) emailed them to get Inputs removed, and it's still here as nothing happened.

Thank you; we are looking into it.

Regards,

Can anyone weigh in and get this scammer/incompetent kid out of the list, please?
This could hurt some newcomers, as inputs is still accessible through the index2, and I'm pretty sure deposit feature is still active.

I like to invest in people I can physically wrap my hands around.  Learned the DOJ and Interpol can only go so far.  Unless you escalate it politically.

1427  Economy / Goods / Re: Google Glass Explorer Edition 2.0, Newest Version, New In Box - Cotton White on: November 25, 2013, 03:43:19 PM
I never owned them but I attended Google IO this year where they handed us a free Chome Pixel.  Everyone was hoping for a free set of these but NOPE. Assholes.  Grin

I asked around and some folks were generous enough to let me play with theirs.  It erected one of my eyebrows but not for long.  Plus it does kind of look ridiculous.  I think it was a LONG way to go.  We'll start with the wrist first. Wink
1428  Economy / Goods / Re: ► ► ► ฿฿฿ LEALANA PHYSICAL BITCOINS - 999 FINE SILVER ฿฿฿ on: November 25, 2013, 03:01:30 PM
I don't mean to be rude but I HAVE to be honest.

These look kinda lame and boring.  They are no different than Casascius' coins.  Infact his look better.  You just have a similar design and all that pops is that sticker.  The detailed work also looks boring.

You have to one up Casascius and show him what a REAL coin is.  Perhaps you can work with a material scientist and chemical engineers to refine your metals to give them a very cool and signature characteristic.  Also how about intertwining other metals and instead of a sticker to achieve that brilliance that everyone loves, how about you alter the chemistry to achieve that across the entire coin?  You know? Something that would BLOW YOU AWAY.  If I were to invest my time in something like this, I would deliver something out of the world. And you should do the same. Mind blowing work will sell like pancakes with a side of bitcoins.

For example, I am so psyco about one upping everyone that I bugged the US mint to figure out how they embedded that blue strip in the new $100 USD bills with the holographic effect. That is super cool.  I plan on having some very very very fancy and unusual business cards made for our startup that when you hand to someone, they will show all their friends because they just never saw anything so cool and new.  I'm sure anyone that saw the new Benjamin bill knows what I'm talking about.  It's super cool... but not cool enough! Anyway, it's also a marketing strategy and a work of art. Cheesy

There. I had to speak my mind. Smiley

We stop sales temporarily, because:

noone died, someone from next building slightly injured, afaik.

We still have coins at another location, but it will take us a while because other things obviously have priority.

Holy hell dude!!  I hope nothing was lost. That really must stuck.  I keep my coins in a fire/water proof safe (It's a safe they actually tested by dropping an atomic bomb on it and it was still intact.)  Surrounded by folks with a license to kill. Tongue

Gates and watchtowers and angry hounds with foamy stuff around their lips... pretty secure. Cheesy

Oh and insurance helps, I think? Tongue

1432  Economy / Goods / Re: (UK GROUP BUY 20/20) 1BTC Gold Plated Casascius Silver Coins on: November 25, 2013, 01:00:18 PM
I purchased a roll of 20 and should have it next week.

I only want 10 coins. The other 10 I will trade for the solid silver versions and I may pay you just a bit extra per coin as those silver ones are sold out.

PM me if you are interested. I'm in the US.

1439  Economy / Goods / Re: Physical coin set. Graded. One of the most complete sets available. on: November 24, 2013, 07:06:35 PM
Thank you for all of the comments. I appreciate them. We have been contacted by the owner of www.gyft.com he seems to be very interested in aquiring the set. As for why we are selling; because as amazing as this set is we had so much fun tracking down the pieces, collecting them, grading them, and if we are able to sell this set we will be able to begin building this set again. It took a long time, many people, and coins from all over the world. We've met amazing people, established friendships and business relationships. It will be a fun journey to do it again!

And yes Goats set is very amazing! I can't even begin to tell you how much I would love to see that set in person. I would love to be able to see Mikes (Casascius) set as well could you imagine ring able to see and hold the first funded coins? That would be pretty cool. Imagine in 20 years, to be able to say hey I was there, I saw it, held it, now it's worth $1,000,000!!!

You think as the value continues to climb they will be so expensive that only a very limited few can afford them?  Is that a good thing or bad?
