1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin going down? on: April 01, 2018, 06:14:12 PM
Well it sure seems like the price of bitcoin is still going down although it is slowed down.  It seems like you have all this fat cats everywhere seem to want to make mining more difficult as well as being able to buy it.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 💬 ADAMANT Messenger — Official Bounty Program on: January 28, 2018, 07:11:56 PM
Is there a spreadsheet where we can keep track of our signature campaign.  I know it says 10 posts a week so we should have a way to track them. Also I assume each week goes from Monday through Sunday 11:59pm forum time. Is that post time accurate?

Hello!

No, there is no form to track.
We will count only total posts count, and total time in signature campaing. So that is easy math and no need to track.

Ok thanks for that clarification i just wanted to make sure I was not over looking something.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting the Laziness problem in the central banks worldwide on: January 28, 2018, 03:11:37 AM
I really am not sure about this topic. I am not sure why op is mentioning things like radical Islamist or suicide bombers in his post. Then he follows up by saying Allah will punish them. Now i think what he is trying to say is how can we create a society where everyone works for crypto currencies.

6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: January 28, 2018, 02:36:56 AM
This is a really bad idea i would say. Not only because of the volitile nature of bitcoin or any crypto currencies but because it is your education money. You should never invest any money that you can't afford to loose or need right away.
7  Other / Meta / Re: People might sell they're merit points. on: January 27, 2018, 03:46:24 AM
I'm really not sure how people are thinking that people will be able to sell or trade this merrit points. I am sure the higher ups have all this thought out in great detail before this change.

Signed up for signature campaign,  i will check other options later on after work. Also maybe I missed it since I just read quickly but how do i find users to message. When i need to of course since I'm sure I won't use this for simple " lol " texts.

12  Economy / Services / Re: 🌟🌟🌟 [PAUSED] JETWIN Signature Campaign 🌟🌟🌟 on: January 17, 2018, 03:17:00 PM
Confirming that this week's payment is on it's way .
Should we keep our signatures until then to have a spot ? or you'll be recruiting new members ? I'm hoping old campaigners will have a spot whenever the campaign opens again !
It's been a very pleasant experience and i hope the JETWIN team will resume it soon .
Thanks @notaek for the smooth management !
More power to JETWIN .

Its best to remove your signature for now, since I haven't received any particular date. You can apply for a spot once the campaign resumes again.

Cry ok notaek, i am confirming i got week 6 payment. I understand that signature campaign on ' hold ' for now and we are allowed to do other campaign. I will keep eye on this as i want to return whenever it resumes.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: January 16, 2018, 04:53:09 AM
I always keep on buying bitcoin even during the high and low price times. This insures that i get a true cost average on my dollar purchases. I plan on holding my bitcoins long term so this helps me out especially when it comes to tax time with cost basis purchases. I personally think that is the proper way to buy bitcoins.  I also still mine them as well.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: January 16, 2018, 04:48:45 AM
I do not agree with the fact that many people know about bitcoin. I have actually seen some younger folks who did not know about bitcoin. We might expect the elderly generations to be in the dark but like i said i have seen a large potential of untapped people who have not heard about bitcoin either by choice or they just live in remote areas.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN on Move Again !!! on: January 16, 2018, 01:18:56 AM
This is kind of hard to predict,  i seen the price pump as was mentioned but it was just a small pump. When i checked it i did not notice a move of over $1k. Now maybe $20k might be doable by years end but in either case i am happy. Now if they would fix the transaction fee and speed of confirmation would be great.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: January 16, 2018, 01:11:07 AM
In my opinion the only difference between bitcoin or any crypto currencies and lets say the American dollars is that on is digital. They are both created and they both have value placed on them by the faith people are willing to pay and think they are worth. Now a dollar you can still use even if there is no internet or power.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Carrying Hardware Wallets When Traveling Internationally on: January 16, 2018, 01:03:14 AM
I would never carry a hardware wallets as i have had things like computerd and old school vhs tapes get erased when passed through x ray scanners.  I would just move what i think i would need to a xapo wallet. I am really not sure why you would carry it anyways.  If you planning on using them why not just sell the coins to fiat and use that on the vacation?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Against the high competition of blockchain. What will Bitcoin do to compete? on: January 15, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
Ok so i will admit that bitcoin does have some issues that need to be worked out. Now i know that with each new crypto currency that comes out comed a new promise of change. In the end all that matters is what people and most importantly large businesses will accept i believe. Now people are mentioning the lightning network and i believe this will fix alot of issues.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: china coming back ? on: January 15, 2018, 07:29:53 AM
I am not really sure where several people have mentioned something about a new government in China.  Now China always had a distrust of bitcoin as it allowed people to to move financial assets out of the country. China likes to keep a tight leash on every aspect from what is put on the news to what they learn. Im still waiting for them to shut down large mining farms.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easy way to explain and teach Bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 12:25:46 AM
Well i don't personally know about explaining it to a 7 year old but i can tell you when i explained it to my 8  year old daughter. I basically told her the basics of how there is only 21 million coins. I proceeded to tell her how just like with gold and diamonds, bitcoins have to be mined. Lastly i told her each wallet is like a bank vault and if you loose your private key you are screwed. She understood that and how it is secret money.
