701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) = Federal Reserve on: February 23, 2015, 01:27:37 AM
Paycoin has no use right now .. its doomed unless theres a mainstream need for it

at this point i do not think paycoin will be going main stream anywhere at all, seems that there is to many legal problems from whet i am seeing posted on gaw forum to even move on at this point  Undecided

703  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody here uses Shift or Xapo debit card? on: February 23, 2015, 01:22:25 AM
I GUESS the above person did not want to answer what they ment

I thought XAPO cards are not available for the US subscribers, not sure if that was the complaint... Unfortunately I hear very little on Coinbase / Shift debit card integration around here which I must admit I would jump on right away.

yeah the xapo card sadly is not offered to people in the usa, that means i can't get it till i get a address in like canada or something lol, IF shift card and coinbase team up that would be huge and good for me as i already use coinbase  Grin
704  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: February 23, 2015, 01:19:26 AM
yea they pretty much are. if you try to withdrawl a small (unspecified) amount you just lose it, and they wont pay you back. i guess if you dont want a desktop wallet and you are dealing with large amounts of bitcoins its good. they prey on people that sign up for bitcoin faucets and dont read the fine print. bottom line, if you dont want to store your btcs in xapo permanently DONT use store them there at all. i just lost a who payout to them.
It's not very clear what you mean by "they wont pay you back", but I'm happy to help you out. I'm sending you a PM so I can get your account details and create a support ticket for you. It's been made pretty clear throughout this thread that our legitimacy is not in question. We gain nothing out "preying on people that sign up for bitcoin faucets".

I don't use a Xapo wallet, but I've heard people say that Xapo (like Coinbase) doesn't require its users to pay the transaction fees. Here's my question, does Xapo pay the fees for its users, or just sends bitcoins to other wallets outside Xapo without paying the fee at all?

GOOD question i never really thought about that but ofcourse now i am thinking about it  Huh
705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: February 21, 2015, 11:57:47 PM
LOL the .47$ a ghash cloud mining? No way and it doesn't tell you which miner or any stats, seems fucky.
Not talking about the cloud mining.

Seeing as how Hashnest is manipulating S5 hardware costs, it seems only fair to point out that much better deals on hardware are available at SPTech.
Yeah Spoondiles is definitely the best for home hardware, I only can have a bit the wife is afraid it'll burn down the house and kill our cats.

lol what the hell i cant stop laughing .... the wife is affraid you will burn down the house and kill the cats ......... lol what about you all personally and other like kids or so forth and all your belongings. The sad thing my wife would be the same way except it be the cats and the dog in my case
We don't have kids and I mine when I am home which gives me little up time, so the fear is when we are gone or asleep it will catch fire and burn us and everything to a crisp, so that's why I cloud mine now. (Or I would home mine with a nice large set up)

The dangers can be very real.  I remember way back when I got a bfl60.  The hardware was fine, but the stock psu was a major fire hazard.  I am so grateful we didn't hear about a bunch of fires and loss of life with those death traps.  It just wasnt worth it for me and I went out immediately and bought a decent commercial psu.  The bfl stock psu smelled like it was about to catch fire the little time I used it.

Funny the thing that pushed me  over the edge was the family dog.  I couldn't imagine the devastation had something gone wrong while we were away.

dam glad it all worked out for everyone with no dangers
706  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: February 21, 2015, 11:56:36 PM
The one thing that pisses me off with hashnest is they are extremely greedy. For example since bitcoin went up today $10-15 they decided to raise the price of the S5 units. That is nothing but pure greed. Since if this pump is only short lived people will get real hurt if they buy now. Instead of letting the customers wait for bitcoin to go up and buy at a good price they raise it even higher than before (you used to be able to get it for about 1.59 btc now its over 1.79).

Yep.

Like today I am going over to a friends house to get him into bitcoin.  Giving him my old s2 unit to get him in easy to understand how everything works.  He will need to take it offline because electric will be more then the btc he will make as btc/usd is dropping back down but it was more to let him understand how everything works.

Anyways, my point is he is asking where to get good equipment at the best prices and as to where I would have said bitmain hands down a while back I can't say that anymore.

I hope bitmain understands the gold mine they had treating us right and bringing up miners with them was better then getting greedy.

Not sure what I will be able to tell him now but will do some research.

In the old days I would have given him a coupon, pointed him to bitmain and said buy!  Most likely you will get a good amount of your money back and learn something.  Today I can't do that.

Well he can still run the s2 if he has free power and make something but i agree with you on the rest, come on bitmain dont get greedyit is not good for anyone

what how did you loose a payment was it going out to someone or was it something someone sent to you, did you try to contact them and provide them proof of lost bitcoin?
709  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: February 21, 2015, 04:03:59 PM
i used them last 2 days..
i am a new member but now everthing work perfectly..
it's not a scam...

i am NOT saying it is a scam i really want for Xapo to be a good inovative product cause i so badly want a bitcoin debit card that has my name printed on it and that it can be a visa or mastercard. I almost forgot with the feauture to where it only sells the amount of bitcoin to cover fiat transaction in real time and not some crappy pre load limits. With that said it does not help when you say " i am new but not a scam lol " just saying  Wink

Are there any bitcoin debit cards that are definitely 100% certain reliable and not a scam? They are a good idea but I seem to see complaints about them all.

i always thought this one would be one of the best cards except i could not get it as i am in the usa lol, i also use anx premium mastercard as well i just dont like load times
710  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: February 21, 2015, 04:02:38 PM
100% SCAM
Could you provide some details, fonzie?
Come on fonzie, do you can explain this? Don't just make a spammy post.

Yeah come on dont just say sacam and provide no proof or anything

714  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ANX: Your Ultimate Crypto Trading Platform on: February 15, 2015, 09:29:54 AM

Sorry, but what do you mean?

Look at this link:
https://anxbtc.com/pages/#/card-compare

As you can see, my ANX PLUS card should have a telephone support. However, this is a straight up lie. There is no telephone support. The managers at ANX knows this, you said yourself that you've emailed them. However no changes were made. That's why ANX is lying.

Not to mention hiding important information like loading time for card.

I don't beleive that you guys don't have time to change this information. It would take you about 5 minutes.

I don't feel comfortable trusting you with my money.

Everyone be careful please!!

Just going to put this on this page too.

lol ejinte you know they love you there at anx haha, but for real i thought you was happy with your card once you got it to work is there something else wrong with it?  Huh

ejinte is unhappy because there was some misleading information on our site that still hasn't been corrected.

On a side note, I advise all of you to keep irrelevant posts to a minimum. If you wish to rant, please make a new thread in the Services Discussion section, and don't clutter up this thread.

hey i dont think it was irrelevant i was not talking about something random, i simply asked him why does he or she have it so bad for anx since i thought the main issue they had was when they got card took them long time to load card like me. Only difference is i am not going on about your phone number lol i actually use my anx premium card

I was not referring to your post. I was referring to posts like bernard75's since he is just ranting and lying and trying to incriminate our company.

oh ok gotcha sorry was in same response in reply to my post so i thought was ment for me that is why i was lost like what did i do to deserve such a answer lol, well have a good one
715  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: February 15, 2015, 09:28:36 AM
awesome i am glad to hear all is working out, how would you rate the activation, time to get card, ease of having bitcoin loaded onto it so you can use it " not actual process but i mean like how long does it take before can spend it "

From the moment I got the card it only took minutes. Activation on the site was easy. The phone call for the pin code was no problem at all. Charging the card (waiting for the blockchain was the longest delay) was simple and fast.

All in all a very good experience.

The site needs some work like a running total in the transaction list also txid for blockchain transfers would be nice. And some strange thing all numbers after the decimal places are 0 which is not normal.

let me first of all say thank you for taking the time to respond. I am glad all went well and i feel a bit better hearing your experiences. The ideas you have suggested are good especially the placement of numbers after the decimal  Wink

Well if this "Rishab" person is for real, then this is probably his twitter account, FWIW:

https://twitter.com/Rishab704/with_replies

Well that's interesting. We've gotten under his skin already, it seems.

Oops, I forgot I screenshotted all of Rishab's love notes to Homero. (at least thru 12/31)

lol i loved that episode of south park but in the sad reality that is what i am sure alot of people who sold personal belongings to get in on the ground floor of this great coin feel like
719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 15, 2015, 01:45:35 AM
I sent a tip to the CIA that this "Rishab" character is up to no good trying to dupe Americans and generate USD. He's from a sensitive area in India and quick checking around has quite some rantings. Better safe than sorry, very easy to open an "inquiry" file here, than a "semantically" correct "investigation" file from the SEC.

https://www.cia.gov/cgi-bin/comment_form.cgi

The youth are brainwashed today without even knowing it. What can Rishab really be up to?

lol well then that is some tip to send  Grin
720  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 15, 2015, 01:44:17 AM

Coins only exist at addresses. A transaction takes coins from one address, and sends them to another. If you think these coins still exist, what address do you think they're at?

These were taken from various addresses, and sent nowhere. They aren't in the addresses they came from -- you can check that, the blockchain doesn't lie. They weren't sent to any new address. It's impossible for a new transaction to send them somewhere new, because they don't exist at any address anywhere in the blockchain.

Nothing is impossible. Any new version of paycoin core SW can be programmed to go through blockchain searching for all fees that were ever sent and interpret them belonging to a hardcoded wallet address that represents orion controllers. Imagine this like the output address is just given later hardcoded in the paycoin core SW rather than earlier programmed into the blockchain at the time when the fees were sent in a transaction. Same thing happens, just later.

I know, it is a little shitty system but there are now the 110000 paycoins sitting there tempting the person writing the paycoin core SW to implement it in this shitty manner. Shit happens if you plant low hanging fruit trees to tempt you.

dam that would be a pretty sneaky move i am sure noone will do this  Roll Eyes
