Because crypto being open source, free for anyone to use, I think this should also apply on the font. Everyone who wants to make something for SpreadCoin can use the font. I think the Montserrat suits the logo and identity very well.

SpreadCoin is een nieuw Crypto valuta dat gedecentraliseerder is dan Bitcoin. Het voorkomt centralisatie van hashing kracht van mijn-groepen, wat een van de belangrijkste zorgen is van Bitcoin veiligheid. SpreadCoin is eerlijk gelanceerd zonder premine.

Parameters

• Algoritme: SpreadX11
• Blok generatie: 1 minute
• Moeilijkheid recalibratie: elk blok gebaseerd op de laatste 360 blokken
• Beloning start op ongeveer 6.66 munten per blok
• Blok beloning wordt elke 4 jaar geleidelijk gehalveerd
• Totaal aantal: 20 miljoen munten
• Geen jaar 2106 probleem

Initieel was de beloning 66.66 munten per block en de tijd tussen de blokken was 10 minuten, dit is veranderd na de hardfork op blok 2200.

Werkelijk Gedecentraliseerd
Bij Bitcoin ligt de mijn-kracht bij grote mijn groepen. Dit brengt het hele netwerk in gevaar in het geval dat deze grote mijn-groepen kwaad willen doen of als hun veiligheid gecompromitteerd wordt. In SpreadCoin zijn er geen grote mijn-groepen, mijn-kracht wordt verspreid over vele mensen die solo-mijnen.

Compacte Transacties
SpreadCoin gebruikt meer compacte representaties voor de handtekeningen in de transacties. Dit zorgt voor kleinere transacties en een kleinere blockchain. Zie deze transactie in SpreadCoin en een zelfde transactie in Bitcoin, beide transacties hebben 15 inputs en 1 output maar SpreadCoin transacties neemt 1661 bytes en Bitcoin neemt 2744.

Beloning Neemt Geleidelijk Af
Er is geen abrupte halvering van de beloning in SpreadCoin, zoals wel het geval bij Bitcoin. Blok beloning neemt geleidelijk af in de tijd.



Mijnen
Je kunt direct mijnen van je portemonnee, ga naar de mijnen tab en druk op 'Start mining’, je begint te mijnen naar je portemonnee. Een draad over het mijnen van SpreadCoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=869289

Je kunt ook mijnen naar een specifiek adres (dit is nuttig wanneer je op meerdere computers mijnt). Om dit te doen:
1. Gebruike een bestaande of nog beter genereer een nieuw adres.
2. Open debug console (Tools -> Debug Console) en vul in:

3. Je krijgt je privé sleutel. Open spreadcoin.conf of maak het als het niet bestaat (D:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\SpreadCoin\spreadcoin.conf on Windows) en voeg het volgende toe:

4. Herstart je portemonnee als het aan stond.
In de Mining tab zul je nu zien dat alle gemijnde munten naar dit adres zullen gaan.

I agree, it's true decentralised nature is what appeals to me. And Masternodes would be awesome!

For the marketing aspect:

- I think the logo is absolutely great! The website is nice and crisp, maybe a nice visual/scematic on the landing page would work, allthough I also like it with only text.

- The purple color of the corporate identity should be the same everywere (I see some different shades now on the homepage).

- I think we also should use an opensource freefont for the corporate identity. Now the Myriad is used, it is nice but copyrighted.

I made some examples, 1. Montserrat, 2. Ubuntu (bitcoin typeface, however different weight and not slanted)



- I think the Dev and the community are the best marketing now, giving input in the thread, creating a good base for this coin.

- With the graphics I can help, but maybe Susel wants to do that.

- Can someone create a spreadaddress.org so paper/cold wallets can be generated?
