WHO was gifting them?
These are the first experimental coins made by Casascius. They were used to test the holograms to reveal the honeycomb pattern left behind, without ever being funded. The coins can be identified by looking up the public key on a peeled, seemingly ‘pre-funded’ coin. If no BTC has ever been in the address, then it is possibly a demo coin. Currently, demo coins are only known to exist in brass 1 BTC form. Casascius sold these coins to prior buyers as extras. On a few occasions, buyers who ordered Casascius coins had the option to also buy some ‘demo’ coins along with them. So now you are plagiarizing the encyclopedia of physical bitcoins??

You have already been offered 1.1 - 1.2 and you are holding out for 1.3 on an MS64? For 1.3 you can get an MS68 2011-S2. Regardless GLWS.
Thanks for the interest, 1.3 BTC is my absolute lowest price. I've helped broker deals on SEVERAL Casascius coins in the last 30 days.... 1.25 BTC for MS68s that came fresh out of a roll were the highest sale prices. The brass have ranged anywhere between 1.1-1.25 BTC. Unfortunately your coin is worth 1.1-1.125 BTC at this point in time. This coin will not sell here for "your" price. It's an MS64 in the newest ANACS slab..... best of luck. Thank you for your professional opinion, glad to hear you helped broker several Casascius deals. I am not looking for a broker and if someone would like to buy this coin before Jan 31st 1.3BTC is the price. ....and I'm telling you it won't sell here, so open that safe up and put it back in there. It's not just a professional opinion. It's a fact. I was just trying to give you proper information. Don't be salty with me that premiums are in the toilet currently.

2 prizes..... The silver set as first and the rest for second.
I also think 2.5BTC is a huge premium for whoever posted that..... the last silver set sold for 225 XMR.
I didn't post it, alaknob did the "rough" maths lol... But I wouldn't part with my set for less myself. That auction was shit, I agree, but these coins are some of the finest crypto coins made, IMO, and if you truly believe in Monero, they are worth hodling, if possible. Maybe just do the math in XMR for pricing etc.... then just give people the option to pay in BTC? I'm sure an XMR hodler would want the majority of their XMR back.
