There is a hard cost to get from BTC to USD.

And this is YOUR problem, not the community's problem.... if you wanted fiat.... ebay is always at your disposal.  Listing them here in collectibles means taking BTC and your scam loophole is to post a fiat sale here while still taking BTC, you just charge more to use the local currency.  Total shit IMO!!  Glad I sold all my Titans and I'd never own another one.

Look what I found on Ebay for $4
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Art-Print-Poster-Canvas-Bit-Coin-Poster/142835382293
I am guessing that is where this poster came from: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5218534.0

This ebay seller copies real artists works and sells them for peanuts....  been reported many times.. amazing they are still selling. lolz

So it's the same place alamjob239 got it from and was trying to get funded Bitcoin Suisse Notes in trade..... seems scammy to me.

how is that MS66? looks perfect. I have MS67 with clear defects. Their grading is such a joke sometimes in my opinion.

ICG grades to the highest standards.

edit:
Early on some labels were inconsistent etc, but the graders are as good as they get and have been from the start.

p.s.
looks perfect.

Bottom left of the B.... look again at the gilt.  Always happy to educate Wink

These are for sale for $100 over spot gold price currently $1575 per coin plus shipping.

It seems like an additional fee of 1% of the total amount is being charged when paying with bitcoin, resulting in~$900 in hidden fees for all these coins. This was not mentioned anywhere in this sales thread. On top of that it doesn’t make any sense to me to charge extra for accepting bitcoin on BITCOINtalk.

Exchange fees to convert to dollars I presume?

I need dollars at the moment not BTC so this sale is priced in dollars.

Not sure where the 1% is coming from but Tim is obligated to pay me spot gold at the time of sale + 100$ in US dollars for each coin sold. That is our contract so he is probably just passing on his cost to you.

This is ridiculous!  Paying a premium to use bitcoin while you are shilling on bitcointalk??  What a joke.  If anything it should be a discount to pay in BTC.  I actually agree with bavi on this.

Guys, I understand the frustration but you are ignoring that this is a transaction that needs to end up in Fiat USD.  Coincube stated that USD was preferred in his first post.

We're using Coinbase to convert from BTC to USD and deposit USD into an account for these sales.  Coinbase charges 1% to do that, at the available account privileges.  We can sell these coins at spot value to bullion dealers at any moment and not pay any exchange fees to get into USD.  My role here is to get coincube MORE than spot, and exchange fees cut into that significantly.

If you're sending me a wire, I won't be paying wire transfer fees either.  There is nothing different here than that.

BTC is fantastic and I love it enough to dedicate a huge portion of my time to it and the crypto community but you and I both know that it costs money to move into and out of a crypto position and pretending to be outraged at that fact disingenuous.

If they wanted fiat from the start.... the thread should have never been here in the first place.  I'm NOT pretending to be outraged.... nothing disingenuous here.  I AM outraged that you charge more to pay in BTC on bitcointalk!!  How you get in and out of fiat is your guys problem, not the community's problem.  You guys come here to shill your coins and charge more to use the standard currency here!!  Even more of a joke that you try to defend your actions!
1205  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] RARE 1 BTC BitBill beta v0.07 Intact/Funded on: January 18, 2020, 06:18:44 AM
When I was creating this auction I initially copied from another bitbill auction. This was one of the copied parts.

I suppose the only reason is if I feel I don't get a fair price for it but I don't think that will happen.  My mind is set on selling it.

1.15BTC

with a question.... why would this be necessary?

Reserve the right to cancel auction

You should start it at a price you are willing to sell it at.  I don't think this a great practice.... either it's for sale or it isn't.... I'd like a confirmation that even if there are no more bids, that I own this for 1.15BTC.

I will just let you all read and close this in 10 minutes.
anonymousminer - IF you curse me OR ANYONE IN THIS FORUM ONE MORE TIME EITHER IN THE PM OR IN THE MAIN THREAD I WILL RESPOND THE SAME WAY IF ADMINS ARE UNABLE TO CONTROL YOUR MOUTH. I KNOW HOW TO HANDLE

Recently an user called anonymousminer is being very rude and aggressive in nature. Does not care what the user says in threads. User has been in this community for long time but I see constantly attacking new guests and newbies. Posted and pm really bad stuffs to me - really bad stuff. If you follow all his present and past comments they will make you disgusted. Bad mouthing is common from this user. If you had some humor I would not mind but your comment is straight up brutal. A normal human being cannot live with you for long.

This so called hero member's caused my trust level just by simply commenting. He took advantage of the system loop hole.

He also forced others including the moderators just because but the user himself is very rude in so many threads I do not have to even mention.

This use is less than a kid and trying is influence others to commit bad acts. That is insanely stupid.

I do see horrible complain about this thug in the comment sections from other users. I read all the way, I see a symptoms.

I urged the BITCOINTALK.ORG community leaders not to affect the TRUST level unless it is payment related.

I started to find out bad seeds from the crowd community. It is a really good thing for me also at the same time it caused my trust level which has nothing to do with my payment.

I always said I respect all the users and I also do not mind if users make humorous jokes against me but going after my trust level which has nothing to do with payment does concern me. I am a very forgiving person.

I made so many friends from all level members you can think of. I am with all major colle

Thank you for the update from the "Lealana Guru" as they called themselves.  My trust will stand.  I would never do a deal with you and hope the community won't either.

How's that REFUND you demanded for from a CHARITY auction you tried taking advantage of.  YOU are the reason it didn't roll.

You are awful..... I just speak the truth good or bad.  Now GOML and go cry somewhere else.
1209  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Charity Auction] White paper ledger edition. on: January 17, 2020, 06:03:42 PM
Im gonna donate the top bid to some charity for the fires and close the auction I thought this would raise more.  There's no point in letting this go for a cheaper price than it was bought for.

This is something Fattcatt would do!!  At least you didn't try to hide it like they would've.  That being said, this is ridiculous!  I couldn't agree owlcatz more on this one!
1210  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Reopening Orders Titan Mint Gold Coins 2014 and 2016 on: January 15, 2020, 02:42:04 AM

Any coins that are not sold by January 19th will be melted down to extract their gold melt value further increasing the rarity of any sold coins.

You got be kidding me my man  Grin I won't be around you with my titan coin any time soon.

Looks like about 40% of these are sold so far. It was 100% but a huge order did not commit. I will keep sales open until the 19th so hopefully not too many will be melted.

I don’t particularly want to melt them They are beautiful and rare coins and I would much prefer they recirculate back into the hands of someone who appreciates them but gold is gold so one way or another.

If you don't want to melt them..... why not sell them for melt??  That would make the most sense.

Wow you have the 3 of the 6 most rarest Casuscius crypto coins in your arsenal. Bravo.

Just curios how much each of the following could cost  if someone is interested. Are you going to auction these or you want fixed money for each coin?

- 2011 S1 Error: MS67
- 2013 "Void Coin"
- 2014 St. Petersburg Bowl: MS69 DCAM

Please take close pictures. It is hard to tell  which is error, void or Petersburg,

Pay no attention to this..... as they are not the 3 rarest in the collection.  This user is VERY lost and VERY confused about anything crypto related.

Beautiful set!!  Good luck with your sale.
1218  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] 1 BTC Casascius graded on: January 12, 2020, 04:42:26 PM
Both sides of the coin pictured here extremely beautiful. Nicely preserved. Most Caucascius coins are not nice on both side in the market.

You have no idea what you are talking about..... seriously just stop posting your stupidity!!
