@TitanBTC.... if you actually reload these..... you are a MORON!!! I would sell EVERY Titan coin I own based on your sheer stupidity and lack of awareness! Full disclosure, I do not own either a 2014 gold or 2016 gold, but if I did, I would really be lighting this thread on fire!! Anyone that owns either of these coins still funded have a much rarer coin with all those others peeled. Now you are going to make their coins less rare by refunding the old ones? Total DICK move!!!! A peeled coin is history and should be left alone. Facepalm.
p.s. not one person has chimed in thinking this would be a good practice.

It would also be nice if Tim/Titan would update their website for the coins they have distributed. This is a cause of a good deal of frustration attempting to confirm a loaded value of a Titan coin, and date, then getting an error stating not found.
Please PM me here with the coin ID that you're having trouble with? The 2017 Tenths for sure.... I'm guessing they would be the later funded ones. |

I understand your concern. To clarify, anyone purchasing the reloads of these coins are not getting "new mintage". We are not increasing the number of coins in existence for these.
The reloads will retain the existing production number but are getting a new public/private key pair and a new certificate of authenticity. The reloads will show authenticity on the Titan website, just the same as the original.
These represent a significant percentage of the mintage for these two coins, which is why I am open to uniquely accommodating this sale. The holograms' authenticity and their intact status is the primary security for these coins (I have yet to see a hologram replica of our coins). These holograms will show the first digits of their public key, and still link to a page verifying they are authentic and linking to the blockchain transaction that funded them.
Because of the added security that comes with the extra layer of authenticity verification, I don't think this is actually leverage for fresh scammers to gain any advantage but I may not be fully understanding your perspective.
If they are not laser etched with RE-FUNDED or NOT ORIGINAL, this is a terrible practice and would consider ALL your coins worth less than before. I'd think long and hard before you actually go about about doing this...... someone bought the coins, they redeemed them.... that's part of history as well! So many reasons this would be an absolute mistake!! |

2) Restored coins. Tim the president of Titan Mint is willing to restore these coins and reload them with a new hologram and load a bitcoin onto them. Price for the restored coins will be $100 over spot gold + the BTC price currently $8173 per coin plus shipping. These restored coins will be loaded only with bitcoin and will not have any of the multiple fork coins BSV, BCH, ect that have branched off over the years.
I don't think coin makers should do this. I agree 100%!! This would completely devalue Titan IMO. I would have ZERO interest in ALL Titan products if Tim actually does this!! People need to use their f**king brain!! |

Before anyone takes this thread on a tangent thinking there actually is a flaw on this 70..... I'll get ahead of it for both ICG and myself. As we all know it is difficult to get good pictures and we try our best. The photo above with mini Toews and Hossa there is an obvious reflection or glare. For proof I bring in enough of the high resolution photo to show there is no flaw on the nose as the reflection or glare makes it look like. I'm not posting the entire high resolution photo as I'm giving it to the winner of this auction.  |

Love what you do (honestly), but 2BTC or $14,000.00+ for a wallet is INSANE!! Sorry to be the one to say it, as I am sure plenty of us here are thinking it..... Then on top of it I'd be forced to put a significant amount of BTC on them as well. You may have overthought this one sir!!
As beautiful as they are, I personally would NEVER even consider one of these for those prices.

this isn't a wallet. its art with btc on it. there are plenty of wallets available for that specific function. Ricky Allman will be one of American great painters in our life time (he is already but less known today) his art, which is what these are, is going to be worth a ton. these are not serials 1-10 either. you’re offered a 1/1 piece of art merged with bitcoin. a singular item. these are designed for art collectors and misunderstood. but, yeah, it’s not cheap as a result and thats probably by design. They MIGHT be worth a lot of money...... and I'm willing to bet my 2 BTC that I don't spend on the "art" outperforms said art! Would you like to take that bet CITM?? |
