721  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 06:28:13 AM
Fixed issue with anyone having trouble setting a payment address, or trying to cashout.

If you still happen to have problems send me a PM with the problem and your username.

Thanks!

i tried setting my donation percent at 1 and got the same error

It's an old error in the base framework, send me your username and I'll get it sorted
723  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 06:19:58 AM
Thank you all for your mining efforts, I hope this pool will grow and allow me to further develop the simplecoin frontend!

your doing a good job man! will be donatin a little somethin somethin on first payout

I appreciate the offer, but donation % is calculated on the completion of a successful round. Perhaps I should adjust that.

That said, I'll gladly take any donations to the btc address in the site footer Smiley

724  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 06:09:18 AM
estimated earning accurate?

Not quite. It was close, but it counted into the next round. With cheat-proof scoring method I hope to get closer. That said, once the switch is made, earnings might be off wildly at first, but payout is already confirmed to be accurate. I'm working on getting estimated payout to increase rather than decrease, hopefully this new scoring will help. I just have to wrap my head around logarithmic scaling between php & mysql (which as a primarily .net/mssql/oracle dev isn't the easiest).

Happy Birthday!!!

Thank you! Smiley
726  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:55:34 AM
One last thing though, when I got to put my payout address in, it still errors on 'donation percent'. I have tried 0, 1, 1.5, 1.00, .01,

whats up with that? whats the right answer lolol?

Thxx

Send me your username in a PM, I'll get it sorted ASAP

Scratch that! Account details are unlocked!

Payouts worked as expected. Your balance is now correct for round 1!

Enjoy your btc!

(where's the celebration emoticon when you need it?)

Site frameworks updates on the way! If you catch new error msgs, let me know Wink
728  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:44:27 AM
I amde an account, it got stuck with a linux error on the '% donate" thing. So I bailed for an hour.

Then when I came ack, my accoutn says 'ON HOLD'  / / whats up with that>? Is the server too busy at the moment?

No, all accounts say ON HOLD currently. I want to check the payouts to make sure everyone gets paid appropriately.

You can mine away. All mining will be counted. Smiley
729  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:24:48 AM
On the plus side, Block confirmations are now on the stats page.
730  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:21:08 AM
Thanks! Is this why I'm having connection issues right now?

Probably, mysql cpu usage is through the roof. This will be worked out shortly.
731  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:16:58 AM
Account details page is temporarily disabled to ensure initial payout is correct. I will re-enable it as soon as I can confirm payouts.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but your btc is my top priority.
732  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 05:06:13 AM
Unless SC wants to confirm otherwise, I think it's #129256. If this is correct, we have 45 more to wait. In slush's pool, it takes 12+hrs to get 120 confirms.

It is confirmed. There was an error in the original base I used. It is being corrected. Balances should show up shortly.

Please excuse any downtime, I just want to make sure everyone is correctly compensated.
733  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 01:27:26 AM
I dont completely understand this. When will my current balance contain some bitcoins?

thanks!
If you got in here before the last block was found, we all wait 120 65 confirmations for the block to "mature" Then it's pay day. If you got in after the block, then we need to find another block, then wait for 120 confirmations.

The block is at 111 conf, still immature. I believe it goes to generated at 120 conf. At which point it moves to balance and gets divied out.
734  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 11:40:05 PM
Joining the group now ^^ only a basic rate of 83 Mhash/s for the time being though :/

It only takes 1 share to find the final piece of the puzzle. Smiley

Welcome aboard.
735  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 10:34:19 PM
Just to be clear: Once this round is mature, the site payout model moves forward to the cheat-proof scoring model.

Estimates WILL be wrong at first, I'm working on a way to calculate with this framework. Even if your estimate is wrong, the payout has already been tested to calculate correctly.
736  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 10:09:53 PM
so when will the round count reset?

Once the block is confirmed as mature. It should go to the new count.
737  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 09:27:00 PM
User 176, please step forward..... you have the honor of our first probable solved block!
738  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 09:22:03 PM
Which miner id found it?

When should stats and stuff be updated in the main page?
I'll look once the shares are moved into history. there are only >1million records to go through.

It will update if it matures.

woot for us!!  drinks on me (if you come to South Carolina Smiley)

I'm in TN, so the drive isn't toooo far. It is my birthday today, so I'm hoping for a slew of free drinks as-is.

Of course it took until my birthday for our first block solve....
739  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 07, 2011, 09:10:41 PM
So is this the start of a new round?

If the block matures, yes it has already begun.

So we are now on pay per share correct?

No, it is score based to prevent pool-hoppers. It is proportional, but it weights the users that stay in the whole round more heavily.
