I'm testing score based payouts now. The site percent is going up to .001% to facilitate the change (sorry, can't divide by 0 for cheat proof method).

|
|
Additionally, the scoring algorithm is nearly complete. I will have to take a super small fee to make it count, but it shouldn't be more than bitcents per valid round. (trying to keep it below .001 to be exact)

What's wrong with the authorization process, I can't login both from chrome and IE. It just tells me "we'll be returning to the main page shortly", and there goes main page looking like I'm am not logged in.
I have no problem logging in in chrome/safari/ie/firefox. Do you have cookies enabled?

I'm getting close seems like r^i is huge! even a 53digit double gets rounded eventually.

I could really use the help getting this setup on my opensource pool frontend.
It's based on mysql, php and pushpool.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as benefit the community with an opensource solution for their own implementation.

At this rate we should statistically solve every other day
And yes, I do refresh the stats page in hopes of seeing: Last block found: x!

|
|
Looks like it Many thanks to our newest user

Glad to hear that you're planning on closing the hole. Doubly so because your pool is open source, so future pools will have a good working implementation of the system from the start Yes, the opensource version should include various prop, score, pps options once it's ready.

As for pool hopping exploits, I'll be working to find a way to quash those I'm thinking the cheat proof method that was recently devised...... although I'd have to do some changes as it can cause operator BTC loss (and for a 0% fee pool, that's no so great).

Yes, it's proportional (for now). After we get some more hashing power I'll likely implement a PPS option as well. Stats are time-delayed to help combat pool hopping.
Additionally, I'll be adding an auto-payout threshold once I have the time to set it up.
Proportional, not score-based? Sigh, guess I'm stuck on Slush where people can't steal from me. I should write a pool hopper and join the ranks of the thieves. Yes, proportional. You solve x of y shares of solved block. You recieve x/y shares of the bonus 50coin.
|
|
|
I didn't see it listed, what payout method do you use?
I think it's proportional, because I'm amongst the top ~3 miners and I'm getting significantly higher payouts than other pools. I would assume. Yes, it's proportional (for now). After we get some more hashing power I'll likely implement a PPS option as well. Stats are time-delayed to help combat pool hopping. Additionally, I'll be adding an auto-payout threshold once I have the time to set it up.

Tried to access the api page. Missed that one on the framework upgrade.

I'm sure we'll get more. Every pool has to start somewhere Already it's grown 8x in 3 days

|

Could we get a logout button and https logging in (if it isn't already)?
Logout implemented. Https is in the works.
|
|
|
New site framework implemented. Looks about the same, but it's much easier to manage and should make opensourcing my code much easier.

Do you know why I'm auto-logged out after 30 minutes?
Perhaps you could include an option to disable this?
It's in the queue (bugs the crap out of me too) Also, cron jobs are back online. Rewards are now set to include previously unsolved blocks, so everyone gets rewarded for all of their work.

@ simplecoin:
What do you think of a german translation of your site. I think it would be possible to attract some users with wuite potent hardware in different german hardwareforums. I could prepare the translation and do the advertisement. Interested?
I'd like that quite a bit. I don't have any internationalization setup, but I've handled it on other sites. Maybe it's time for a simplecoin.de. Also, I'm doing maintenance on the cron jobs, gotta make sure everyone is compensated 100% for their hard earned efforts so far.

~800 Mhash from me with another ~1200 comming in 2-3 days.
You... You took my #2 top hashrate spot. Don't feel too bad, someone took my #1 hashing spot

I thought it's quite inconvinent, so I created this: www.btc-poolwatch.com to monitor my workers across pools. Nice! Any chance I could get my pool (simplecoin.us) added? It's a painfully simple json api.

Yes, I hope we are close. Once we have a good 20Ghash or so, we should start seeing blocks almost daily.
Get to 100 and we should see regular payouts throughout the day.
