hat irgendwer hier Erfahrungen mit Bitcoinica? Trotz meiner Meinung nach akzeptablen Englischkenntnisse habe ich noch keine gut verständliche Erklärung gefunden, wie das genau funktionieren soll. Soweit ich das bis jetzt verstanden habe, ist Bitcoinica keine eigenständige Tradingplattform, sondern man kann damit seine Offers von Trading-Plattformen wie z.B. MtGox steuern/verwalten. Ist das richtig? Wenn ja, bedeutet das doch, das Bitcoinica dann z.B. mein MtGox-Passwort haben muss?

Hat sich denn schon überhaupt mal irgendwann irgendein Gericht mit dem Thema Bitcoin beschäftigt? Mir sind derzeit keinerlei Gerichtsbeschlüsse zu Bitcoin bekannt.
Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass ich mich mit rechtlichen Angelegenheiten sowieso kaum auskenne.

Fakt ist jedenfalls, dass es noch ein sehr weiter Weg für Bitcoin ist, eine selbst für einen winzigen Bruchteil des Weltmarkts ein akzeptiertes Zahlungsmittel zu werden.
Bis es soweit ist, wird der Kurs eines Bitcoin bestimmt von den Miningkosten, der aktuellen Berichterstattung über Bitcoin, aber Hauptsächlich von Phychologie und reiner Spekulation, wobei wir wieder beim eigentlichen Thema des Threads wären.

Momentan sieht es aber eher nach ziemlich geradlinig verlaufendem Kurs aus, der immer ein bischen zwischen 2,1 und 2,4 hin und her schwankt.
Ich glaube auch nicht, dass in näherer Zeit starke Änderungen im Kurs anstehen, weder nach unten noch nach oben.

Aber ich bin auf den großen Anstieg gespannt, der irgendwann langfristig sicher kommen wird. Wenn der Bitcoin erstmal eine gewisse Preisschwelle erreicht hat, wird der Kurs wieder schlagartig nach oben schießen. Aber das wird sich dann zeigen, wenn es soweit ist.

The bitcoin market is influenced by much more than this. Some big news about bitcoin or someone selling or buying a large pile of bitcoins will manipulate the price as well.

But since there is no other information at present and nobody can really tell where the course is going, people are clutching at straws..

Das zeigt mir vor allem eines: das die zu viel Geld haben.

Nein, bei Tradehill wurde vor kurzem EUR depositing per SEPA aus potenziellen rechtlichen Gründen deaktiviert. Ich habe keine Ahnung, ob bzw. wann wir wieder damit rechnen können das SEPA mit EUR wieder angeboten wird.

If somesone would have hacked Tradhill, then multiple, if not all users would have lost their money, but instead, only your account is affected.
If you think a little bit about it, it is clear that somebody had your password.
Maybe it was to easy to guess or to find out with brute force trial and error. Maybe you used the same password in another service or website which got hacked. Maybe you had the password stored in your browser and someone had physical accesss to your computer?

Maybe with this information you may spot your very own security hole and fix it, so that this doesn't happen to you again.

Btw. With the bitcoin block explorer you can see where transactions are going, but this is rather complicated and chances that you find the thief that way are rather small.

@ElectricMucus: Die Betonung liegt dann wohl eher auf SCHICKEN lassen, da man dann ja wohl zumindest eine Anschrift angeben muss. Natürlich kann man sich auch den ganzen Tag vor ein verlassenes Haus stellen, dessen Anschrift man angegeben hat und auf das Päckchen warten..

Hallo gehts noch??? Der Staat soll wissen bei welchen Shops du einkaufst, wem du Geld überweist und wer dir Geld überweist? Ich bin mir sicher, dass das nicht im Sinne der Bitcoin-Erfinder ist  Dann muss ich am Ende vielleicht doch noch Seeder recht geben das Bitcoin das Ende der einläutet. Ja, kann schon sein, das die Welt (zumindest auf dem ersten Blick vielleicht) gerechter wäre, wenn jeder wüsste wer wieviel Geld hat und wer wieviel Geld bekommt. Dann gäbe es viel weniger Beschiss, Mauschelei, Bestechung und Betrügerei, die Löhne wären gerechter, es gäbe weniger Verbrechen.
Aber im Endeffekt ist das (leider/zum Glück?) nicht mehr als ein Gedankenexperiment.
