21  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: BTC/LTC/NMC/USD/EUR Trading Rechtslage on: April 16, 2013, 05:32:40 PM
Ich finde diesen Beitrag sehr spannend:

http://www.welt.de/finanzen/ratgeber-recht/article115278353/Das-Finanzamt-findet-Computerspiele-spannend.html

22  Economy / Service Discussion / WTF!!! bitcoinwatch.com hacked? on: April 05, 2013, 08:11:44 PM
When I open http://bitcoinwatch.com/headlines.html/ in my browser I see (somewhat broken) http://bitcoincharts.com displaying!
Is this a hack or some kind of DNS error? Are these websites related in any way?

I am the only one seeing this phenomenon, as no one answers?
23  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: BTC/LTC/NMC/USD/EUR Trading Rechtslage on: March 21, 2013, 07:50:09 PM

The OP can't be more wrong. Prices are high *although* there is not big mainstream media attention to bitcoin. This means, chances are less likely this is a short hype/bubble.
So these prices are real. I think the low prices of the last months/year were still due to an overcorrection from the big crash.

Is this real or fake??? I can't believe it..
Why are the voices so funny?
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: there's going to be panic buying monday on: November 11, 2012, 02:33:24 PM
Is there any reason why someone will panic buying bitcoin this monday or are you just talking bull**** because you bought bitcoin too expensive and are now hoping for raising prices?
28  Economy / Economics / Email "Free Yubikeys" Is it a scam? on: July 25, 2012, 07:53:12 PM
Hi today I got an Email with the following text and Iam asking myself if it is a scam since not the original mtgox website is referenced, but instead a site named http://www.yubico.com:

Dear xxxxx,

Thank you for using MtGox.

We appreciate your presence and would like today to give you
a free Yubikey. Considering recent problems with hacked accounts,
hacked computers and more, we see the Yubikey as a good step
toward better security.

You can read more on the Yubikey from the Yubico website:
http://www.yubico.com/ - note that the yubikey we offer is only
usable on MtGox.

To receive your free yubikey, you just need to login on mtgox.com,
click "Order a Yubikey" in the menu, choose if you want either a
yubikey with our logo or not, and on the next page enter the
following code:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(note: this code will expire end of January.)

Once done, you can fill your address, and confirm your order on
the following page. Please remember that the code can be used only
once (after confirming your address, the code will not be usable
anymore).

You can also give this code to someone else and let them get a
free Yubikey.

Enjoy your trading!

From all the MtGox team

29  Economy / Speculation / Re: #1 most popular Bitcoin Price Forecasts (subscribe here: bitcoinbullbear.com) on: May 11, 2012, 05:23:10 PM
*lol*

The funny thing is, always if S3502 starts announcing a big rally, the prices start dropping. This also works the other way around, so its predictions can work well as a good contraindicator Smiley

This cannot be just coincidence that the market is relatively stable for nearly a month, and as soon as S3502 starts talking about the big breakout, and the rally that will retest all-time-high (the usual bubble words, you know), then price drops down like a stone.
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: #1 most popular Bitcoin Price Forecasts (subscribe here: bitcoinbullbear.com) on: May 03, 2012, 08:27:37 PM
long term, bitcoin remains bullish as long as prices stay above the November 2011 low of 1.994 $.

*lol*

I just thought about making this great quote of S3052 part of my signature :-(=)
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: #1 most popular Bitcoin Price Forecasts (subscribe here: bitcoinbullbear.com) on: April 28, 2012, 07:51:38 AM
OMG, most times S3052 is predicing growth, bitcoin is falling down like a stone  Shocked

Look at what is happening now, price already at 4,86 and still falling  Huh

But I don't want to blame S3052, but fact is that bitcoin prices cannot be predicted.
32  Economy / Speculation / How high the spike will go this time? on: April 20, 2012, 10:28:05 PM
6 USD, 7 USD, maybe even 8 USD until it breaks down again?
(post in english, sorry ...) on: April 17, 2012, 08:33:49 PM
How is this related to bitcoin???

I doubt that fleurop is already accepting bitcoin. (I hoped it would)
35  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: April 17, 2012, 08:30:48 PM
omg  Embarrassed

36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not just start a Bitcoin2 parallel to Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2012, 08:21:09 PM
There were (and some still are) lots of alternate blockchains (=other bitcoin versions). Most of them failed, the rest doesn't got very much attention.
Why should they? None of them have great benefits over the real bitcoin. Bitcoin is good, ripe and stable.

Alternate blockchains are a good way to do research and experiment with new features, but unless they are able to fix a mayor flaw in bitcoin, they won't be seriously used as a currency.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news: Zhoutong will buy 40k bitcoins to return to his client on: April 04, 2012, 07:19:44 PM
I hardly believe that MtGox is really doing this. Why should they, it will make their income smaller, disgruntle custumers which are trying to sell previously stolen coins without knowing it.

But if, Bitcoin may be decentral and P2P, but MtGox isn't. They can do what they want.

It would also have interesting consequences. If stolen coins cannot be spent, they will effectively be lost from the system.

It could also be interesting that the victim of a robbery could say to the thief "I will let you spent my stolen money if you give me back at least x percent of it", some kind of out-of-court settlement if you want to see it this way.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis and Bitcoin Price Forecasts (bitcoinbullbear.com) on: February 25, 2012, 10:26:59 PM
S3052, now after this short rally (Is it already over?), is the danger of another mayor sell-off with huge value droppings still imminent?
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How did you guys get into bitcoin? on: January 23, 2012, 08:59:30 PM
I've read an interesting german news entry in the beginning of june 2011 which immediately caught me.
