whit so many people who wants to help, it would be a shame, let this coin die.. Sad
they want to help because they are holding a huge bag of mooncoins and want to dump them at a higher price than 1 satoshi, otherwise they wouldn't care.

This site is pretty good and it's also fun to see your balance going up. Smiley
yeah, I finally managed to get a few referrals this week and that is really helping.

Definitely my favorite faucet, there's some reason why ltc4you (the other one on my signature) uses a similar formula. Really exciting to see the numbers rolling and hoping for the jackpot.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MOON] Mooncoin: You know where it's headed! WE HAVE LIFTOFF! on: January 09, 2014, 02:00:43 PM
Buying at 1 satoshi, ANYthing that's done to raise awareness = pretty large profits. You can make 1000% returns if it could climb back to just 10 satoshis. Hell, if it reached the low price level doge is at right now, you'd be making 25x ROI. This should be a no-brainer.
MOON has 5x the supply of DOGE and 1/100th of the people's attention, 1 satoshi is all that is worth right now under these premises and the theoretical limit will always be 1/5th of the price of DOGE given the supply issue.
You can try buying at 1 and selling at 2 ad-infinitum, but that's not going to get the coin out of the deadlock it is in right now.

lol 1 coin with actual market value pops up in ages and people don't jump on it like it's pure gold ? what the hell is wrong with the miners today ? or is it because since it has actual value it won't be so easy to pump and dump Smiley))
the whales are busy mining shitcoins. What's the latest fad? COYE? yeah, they are picking their noses while we find the worthwile coins first.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 09, 2014, 09:19:51 AM
2) auto-switching pools destroy altcoins

should have the motivation to setup a switching pool in response to the existing multipools instead of whining about switching pools.  if multipools are so destructive, then the same switching algorithms can also be used to benefit dogecoin, couldn't they?

oh, so instead of creating a new method to defend against the erosive nature of multipools we just fuck every other alt coin? what's stopping others doing a multipool that pays in shitcoin? I don't want a race to the bottom.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 09, 2014, 02:53:37 AM
I just hate to see multipools eating hash rate like gays , increasing the diff and then when it raises they leave , leaving us with a fucking high diff. And then repeat . I mean wtf ...
That's why I have an idea that will fix the multipools doing coin hopping just like PPLNS fixed the pool hoppers.
Unfortunately this would need a new coin to be created (and some minor development towards it), and I don't want to be that guy.
Might be able to integrate that into an existing coin? Id love to hear the idea =)
integrating to an existing coin would require a hard fork because it changes the dynamics of the block reward system and might even need to store some extra data on the block with the network info at the time of block creation (not sure if that is currently being collected)

So.. what part of "this is IFC all over again", did you not understand ?

Both were built with the multi pools in mind. The pumper n dumpers that created these and other similar coins, wouldn't have it any other way.
and that's why my idea would need a new coin as it would clash with the multipool dumping concept of current established coins.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 19Million MOON Stolen Just now from my wallet--WARNING on: January 09, 2014, 01:47:53 AM
Which takes my back to my belief all crypto coins are doomed if they don't in someway get some type of protecting you from this type of thing.
Obviously you can go through the process of Escrow, but why? Why not have protection cash affords. Every transaction is logged and can be traced. So protect us and you will see crypt go mainstream.
If people used linux then they could simply create a new user per wallet so that each coin can only access it's own wallet.dat
Not mainstream at all since you would need to use the command line wallet on the terminal (with su - somewalletuser to switch to that coin, unless there's gnome/kde support for opening an app as a different user?) but it would solve the issue of wallet stealers forever.

How low does the diff have to be for cpu to be able to actually find anything?
less than 1, probably even less than 0.5 to have a chance before difficulty shoots up again.

353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEW Litecoin Faucet - Get FREE Litecoins on: January 08, 2014, 09:45:28 PM
Ouch!! Most coins getting hit hard the last few days!! WTF. Could this be due to all the new alts about to hit the market?
nah, just regular ups and downs. The alts hitting the market are a joke, the only one without an insanely ridiculous hype has been RonPaulCoin, but that isn't pulling much BTC volume by itself to account for other coins falling down.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.4 Released MANDATORY UPDATE on: January 08, 2014, 03:58:29 PM
So am I Smiley
But seriously, we gotta do something to bring DOGE back up...
Keep up the work. We need marketplaces, faucets and giveaways...
To da moon
Faucets is probably the thing that's mostly missing right now. Only a few still work and for those that do, some are still giving < 1 DOGE (makes no sense to drip below the tx fee)

at least one faucet/game like the ones on my signature could be a nice boost to DOGE awareness.
355  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: Creación moneda radical on: January 08, 2014, 03:56:00 PM
356  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: Creación moneda radical on: January 08, 2014, 03:01:44 PM
lo que acabas de describir es una moneda diseñada para fallar. si todos saben cuando el valor va a subir y cuando va a bajar... quien va a ir en la direccion contraria? Digo, que para poder vender siempre tiene que haber un comprador del otro lado, no?
357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TIPS] FedoraCoin - Euphoria - Enlightenment - Intelligence on: January 08, 2014, 03:15:13 AM
Does anyone know why Coinedup removed the TIPS to BTC?
Any coin that falls below 1 satoshi gets removed on CoinedUp.

I had 3000 TIPS remaining in there, they were only worth 9.3 DOGEs Shocked
Coin has been dead for a while, just dump what you have left, some sucker will probably pick it up in the hopes to become rich one day...

no coin has a colour as a name?
That's Redcoin for you.

When looking at the value what does $ 1.3e-05 mean?

$0.000013  --  http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1.3e-05

I think the number representation issue is the same in most sites out there: they are using floating point numbers to represent coin values. Some other sites have the same issue, the usual proper way to fix this is to use a 64 bit int to represent a whole number of satoshis instead of using a 64 bit float to represent the decimal places.

Im pretty sure its not a multipool. For 1 i dont see why theyd sell in such tiny amounts when they must mine millions in next to no time. And also:
read my post above, could explain why they do the tiny amounts Smiley
