I don't agree. Reserving is/was an essential part of the forum.
Don't go for heavy moderation here, it's been a nice free place until now...
can you explain why reserving a post is essential to the forum?

Why coins are being added so rarely lately?
main reason probably because Cryptsy is undergoing maintenance/upgrades and not adding new coins, and CoinedUp lately added a bunch of shitcoins with no volume so those are also not listed for obvious reasons. Those are the 2 main alt coin markets right now (at least as early adopters), so there's that. And how long will it take for them to end this maintenance? How would I know?

Hey mod on a serious note, could we get some auto-locking of giveaway threads? It's getting really irritating that each time a noobie get's out of the purgatory they come to the alt section and start reviving threads that are dead for weeks or even months. They don't even read if there was a post limit, date limit, or some rule for the giveaway, they just mindlessly post their address as if that would be getting them anything.
|
|
|
Still not received doges !!
because this giveaway is 2 weeks old smartass. stop reviving old threads, giveaways don't last forever. Check the first post, if date is > 1 week then refrain from posting because 99% of the time the OP will have moved on.

I switched to solo mine overnight to try my luck since I was finding a few blocks on the pool and was about breaking even in there. 2 orphans and 1 accepted block say that I will keep solo mining for a little while (more so now that the diff is going to lower on next retarget, unless RPC retargets first )

shouldn't the free market decide and not some kind of forum government? first they come for our "reserved", next they take our guns.
hide yo kids, hide yo wife.

Yeah at last no more nonsense for the first 5 pages of a new coin (and then some).
Thanks for keeping the forum clean.

the problem I see is that $1/1000 is way too low, especially given the services you provide.
I would need to create 3500 coins per day to break even with your 350 Khash/day Scrypt contract, something that even at difficulty 1 was not possible (now it's diff 4, I don't know the maths but it's like what, 150 coins per day?)
If we simply follow the maths of the services you provide then the coin should be $20/1000

That would be pretty easy to do. Where do you think would be the most appropriate place to show it ?
I would say somewhere on the main page after you received a bonus, and keep it there until either your next game or your next bonus. So I login, see that my referee gave me a bonus and next time I come to play the sign is gone. As you see nothing very intrusive, just a notice that you were given some cash back for being a loyal referral. If my idea is not very clear I can try describing the logic a little better Then a summary could be shown on the personal stats section with just the lifetime total received.

|
i.e. the most active users since the last payout will get the best part of the cake.
ah perfect! that's what I wanted to know before sharing with my referrals. I just shared about 10% of what they got me this week, feels great by the way, do the referred users have a separate line that tells them how much has been shared with them? If it's not there it could be a good way to keep them engaged knowing that their referrer is sending back some goodies to them.

I emailed CoinedUp to request they bring the Moon/BTC market back -- it had not been lacking for orders at all. There is no buy order at 1 satoshi. Why should they keep this dead market? No buyers make no trading. I was watching the Moon/BTC market last night and there were buy orders for 3-4 BTC worth of Mooncoin @ 1 satoshi for several hours. Those orders were actually why I started mining Moons. So either those orders were suddenly pulled, filled, or cancelled by CoinedUp. They cancel the open buy orders when they pull the coin. Some of those were mine. But it doesn't make sense to kill a market where active trading is occurring... Unless the exchange is manipulating to buy up cheap Moons. there was no active trading, having buy orders at 1 satoshi doesn't mean that they will get filled any time soon. If nobody wants to sell at 1 satoshi then the market is still dead.

guys the smaller pool hasn't found a block in 15m while the other is running through them, do something please.
I moved my 250 Khashes to the smaller pool, nothing that can tip the scales, but it's all I've got.

Why are pepz selling. The only way is up from now on People are buying and professional miners are selling because they need to pay their electric bills. WAT.

i buy 10 000 LVC for 0.01
What a joke just wait for some dumper that can't hold his shit to undercut and offer 10k for 0.005... I'm not sure that such idiots exist. just wait and see... or better yet, check the previous page, I offered 100 LVC for 0.1 BTC and we got an instant loser offering 600 at 0.25. this wasn't even an undercut, just a plain idiot dumper lowering to 0.041 per 100, then the next idiot lowers it to 0.02 per 100.
