Do these have serial numbers or any similar identifier?
No they do not. But I buy them straight from silvertowne's website, and they've been around for years and very well known.

266  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm cashing out... on: March 28, 2013, 03:45:08 PM

Safe deposit boxes are usually around $30 a year, but you have no access to it when the bank is closed.

Not necessarily a problem as the bank vault copy is only a backup for house-burned-to-the-ground type situations.

Yea it's good for a backup but not wise to to put your only copy there.
267  Economy / Goods / Re: Would you be interested in live plants? (herbs and vegetables) NON-GMO **POLL** on: March 24, 2013, 05:27:00 AM
I like the idea, as long as the shipping isn't to expensive. You should look up some of the online nurseries and see how they ship there plants.

What type of plants are you interested in? Everyone's opinions and suggestions will help greatly so I can start seeding now.

Anything exotic or rare that's edible and I don't mean illegal ones lol. I know that's kinda vague but that's what I look for online because I can find a lot of the basic plants locally. If I get any ideas for specific plants I'll let you know.

I see it's confusing why it is USD denominated and not BTC

if we put BTC value on cards, there wouldn't be any resellers willing to take risk selling those cards.

Imagine you buy 10 cards each valued 1BTC, you would pay them $70 each...

What is BTC goes down to $60 or even less and you are selling them for USD, you are loosing $10 as no one will pay you original price you paid because of BTC lower value.

Great idea and they look good.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing BTC/LTC long term in safe deposit box on: March 21, 2013, 05:01:04 PM
Make sure to use multiple CD's, thumbdrives or whatever. And put the hardware needed to use those things (i.e. a laptop) in the vault as well, along with complete instructions on how to redeem the stuff for fiat.

I think making copies of the media is a good idea, but do i really need to store my laptop away? Wouldnt the .dat files be sufficient? I believe that holds my funds and address tied to those funds.
I think as a way to access them in an emergency. Since you will need a computer to get to them. You could buy any cheap used netbook for that purpose.
271  Economy / Goods / Re: SELLING: RASPBERRY PI MODEL-B with Extras! on: March 14, 2013, 03:46:59 PM
Bump this pi is still available and it is the 256mb version. price lowered to $50.

Which case is that you are using in the picture?  Is the material some form of cloth?
I'm not sure, I think it's some sort of plastic. It's not soft like cloth.

I'm asking $50 in BTC for everything you see in the pics below and that includes shipping via the USPS to any U.S. Address only. The bundle includes a custom case for the pi, micro usb power cable, sandisk 2gb sd card, and the pi. Power supply not included, I powered it with my Ipod charger adapter.(SOLD!)

Daily Update

We have submitted the information to GLBSE, and are waiting for their responses.

Friedcat, would you like us to start sending you our claims (how many shares we own), in case you never receive official data from GLBSE? I've got my books in order, and I see my trades in the "complete trade history" csv file. That doesn't prove anything - but it may be all we've got, and as Jutarul explained above, it may be possible to reconstruct most of the database by matching people's claims based on amounts and timestamps.
In case of the possibility we could not receive the shareholders data, we begin collecting the claims ourselves.

Please send to (fnnirvana@gmail.com) your number of shares and your Bitcoin address for receiving dividends. Please annotate that they are ASICMINER shares to avoid confusion with MU or MOORE shares. You could accompany them with any evidence you think is OK to provide. It is highly recommended that you use an address that you have its private key. By that, you may enjoy more facilities provided by our future automatic migrating platform.

Email sent.

what state can we come pick it up in

Sorry it's not available for pickup.
279  Economy / Goods / Re: Looking to buy Silver Bullion for BTC on: September 20, 2012, 07:18:21 PM
I have a Silvertowne 1oz bar available if your interested. Visit the post in my signature for pricing.

I'd be interested when you have more than 1 available. The price is just a little bit high for one bar because 100% of the shipping cost goes straight into the price of that bar. If there were a few more, the shipping cost would distribute over the others, and the rate would be good. If you would pm me if you get any more coins/bars, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
I see, in the future I'll look to offer more for sale at a time.
