I've thinking a lot about how get some anonymous xmr and I read using shape-shift even with tor could be dangerous because Javascript can track your real ip address (and shape-shift doesn't work without Javascript enabled). So I figured I could use shape-shift api using the postman to make the order
Could JavaScript really track real ip even when Tor Browser is used? Anyway yesterday Monero was not available on shapeshif but today it is. Good. |

We have anonymous xmr/btc exchange. Even anonymous usd/xmr, or usd/btc is possible. We do also EURO but only to 50,000 EUR per account. USD exchange have no limits in money and no KYC. That openledger seems interesting. But how can it be decentralized exchange, once I log in to a site, instead running a wallet on my own machine?
The actual exchange part is decentralized (you can make trades by interacting directly with the blockchain) but custody of assets is not. Ok. Great. Does it use atomic swaps to do the trade? Are there any other applications, wallets or sites which connect to this decentralized exchange? Is there any open interface for it? More users would definitely bring more volume. |

Atomic wallet is such. I just downloaded it. It does not yet support Monero, even at their main page in looks like does. What is going on? At atomic wallet the atomic swaps are now available between BTC, LTC and QTUM. Have you tried about these? How have they been dealing? Will be wonderful, once we will get rid of centralized exchanges.

Ok now I get it. I was looking when the absolute amount of daily printed xmr goes below btc. 1800 coins per day. That is the first date . The second date is when the emission goes below in percents.

From time to time I go check a bit a Bitcoin ATM map to see how at least some part of adoption spreads and lately number of Monero ATMs is spreading fast so I went to check them more closely and got this

I knew density of ATMs in general is big in Czech, Slovakia and Austria, but I was surprised there are so many in Spain. If you further look you will find out that 5 of them are in Barcelona. And all of them are both way. Considering their independence referendum that makes sense.
I also wonder if "Buy only ATM" can be called ATM at all.
Is the "Nr. of both way ATM" like fiat to BTC and BTC to fiat? What is the amount of Monero ATMs? Do the Monero ATMs include also other coins? And if so, which of them? |

What is the equation of amount of XMR mined per block? I found this. But by any number of A, the amount of mined coins per block is way too less. For example now the current circulation is about 16 000 000 XMR, so by that the equation gives coins mined per block 0,00000000019073486328125 What I do not understand? What is the right formula? |

When I change the time scale like 1 day to 3 month or a year, the candle width also changes. And vice versa. Why? Like when I select three months view, a got 1 hour candles, then when I select 4 hour candles a got a one year view. Why?
Not sure I get your question. It tries to make a decent-looking chart when you change timescale. suggest just use the candle selctor and then you can zoom in or out with the mouse wheel... drag the thing about a bit You got it right. The mouse wheel works. Thank you. |

It has been said, that bitcoins that have and will go through segwit will be blacklisted. I think there is no need worry about. Three reasons.
First. Bitcoin blockchain is anyway transparent, so every coin can be blacklisted for any invented reason, have they gone through segwit or not.
Second. Segwit will be used anyway. So finally most, or every coin will go through them. So every coin will be blacklisted. Blacklisting kind of a looses it significance.
Third. Atomic swaps. Traders will use atomic swaps to trade for each other. Back and forth. They are not worried about are they able to use the coins on some shop where they could be rejected by a blacklist. Traders will use them just for trading. So traders do not care if coins are blacklisted.

Yeah, I think the x86/x64 12.2.2 GUI is whats needed right now. People are not able to use their winblows systems with the new hard fork mandatory update so there's no surprise they are not buying. It;'s pretty fucking simple. Thats true. I think problem is on every os. Any idea when else it is delivered than soon? |

Good volume and incresing price in btc is wonderfull on these days. If we just made some info available for people of what Monero and Tari are and why are and for who, there would be more flow to Monero.

Very odd day all things considered? Any thoughts?  Yea. That was yesterday ans today xmr is one of the least declining in usd at coinmarketcap and at poloniex it is most of the time the only one increasing in btc. Some people use xmr as save heaven during the btc bear market. If people were properly informed about Monero and Tari, there could be a huge flow from btc and other alts to Monero. Now most people are unaware of them. |
