481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 16, 2020, 10:02:09 AM
I have tried same way as you but couldn't made my mind satisfied ever with my winnings. It's hard to stop for a gambler while he keeps winning. All try to push their luck forever. Self-control and luck is the main key in gambling. Very few gambler have the habit of self-control.
Gambling isn't a way to earn money. If you can't control yourself while gambling, it's better to move on. And I choose this way.
LOL, so you mean you have already chosen a different path? Common lets play and have some fun and excitement. Time management is the best way to avoid in getting addicted to gambling. Yes I believe in you that it is really hard to avoid getting attractes to gamble especially when gamblers win or having straight streak losses. This is wrong and the best way to avoid addiction is to set your priorities. We all have different priorities and gaming should not be part of the priorities in life. It is just a way to make life to have some fun.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 16, 2020, 09:56:02 AM
If we don't have a source of income and need money, I think we can stop gambling until the situations become better than before. We can try to earn money first because we need that money to continue to survive. We still have much time playing gambling because the important thing now is how we can pass this pandemic with alive. We can not depend on other people because they have the same problem for us, so we should try to make money fills our daily needs.
Others thinks the other way like they can earn through gambling which is true sometimes but mostly not. There are really lucky gamblers always win their games which they are good at. In the sense of survival, earning money is really important but we cannot tell it directly to gamblers that the money they will going to use for bet should be allocate for daily needs. This is life which is really hard to understand.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 16, 2020, 09:52:06 AM
Good thing you have the forum that you can share OP, As we all know that Fortunejack is running a signature campaign in this forum. They can get a bad reputation if they will going to accommodate your request in withdrawals. We know fortunejack is one establish gambling site so I do not think that they will going to throe their reputation against to a 1.4 BTC withdrawal.Just think positive OP transferring even 1 BTC really take some time due to high traffic of request transaction for confirmation.
484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MY NEWBIE THOUGHTS ABOUT THE FORUM on: September 16, 2020, 09:46:54 AM
I did chose to shitpost too by doing bounty reports which very tiring doing compliance in which you do not like to do but still you make it because you were thinking that you will going to earn. If I were you do not believe on every user saying that they earn in promoting scam ICO. Maybe there promotional ICO that really pay but it will be only some few cents or they just get lucky join a good ICO project. Anyway, the best thing to do as new in the forum is to follow every users suggestion here. Read and read guides that will be helpful for you to acquire knowledge and skills in bitcoin.

488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies - Read before using exchanges or investing on: September 14, 2020, 09:30:07 AM
Can I add something? LOL

Before using exchanges or investing in coins make sure that your internet signal is strong. I have encountered this kind of problem luckily the transaction was failed and it lead me to redo the process to which give me the chance to make it sure that transaction will going to succeed by preparing a strong internet connection during the transfer of coins. Anyway, it was just a common sense for a user to do but yes just like the case that happen to me where I had a bad experience in the use of internet connection.
489  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start Using the BitCoin Lightning Network! on: September 14, 2020, 09:19:06 AM
<snip>
Good thing that there are features you have just been discovered OP to give funds even when the receiving party is offline. The developer has been observed seeing this already and created a feature that will satisfy users and will remain user friendly as it could be like other bitcoin wallets. Anyway, I am starting to like the bitcoin lightning network and probably this could be the future of bitcoin transfer in the future or one of the best choice for bitcoin transfer.

491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SSL vs. TLS! on: September 13, 2020, 04:32:19 PM
Please check your thread image link were broken. I was following your thread to see some guide you made. It was interesting but it could not be good to see some broken image. Anyway, thanks for this information I was doing research on this one following a certain information regarding on how to deteemine fake and legit site through domain extension. I am not technically incline user so this is why I made some especially in regards to internet and cryptocurrency.
492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For your ready reference on phishing! on: September 13, 2020, 04:10:31 PM
I see a lot of phishing activities reported here in the forum. I think it may be best to share what really are phishing is all about and how it could be avoided. There should be a way of distinction between a legit and a scam website in  their domain extension. However, I know it is difficult to distinguish those sophistcated fake sites that usually one of the successful way of phishing financial related accounts. But still if you could manage to tell us here then that might be really helpful OP. I hope you can do something about it?
493  Economy / Economics / Re: "Warren Buffett invests $6 billion in Japan's five biggest trading houses" on: September 13, 2020, 02:00:00 PM
There are probably reason for this decision he made. My speculation is that this guy is a business minded person and it could be related to it that he sees huge ROI in the mining gold business he venture. Another thing is that it could be that he just wanted to live in Japan for good that is he transfer his investment or money in that country? LOL
Anyway, I agree to OP that with these big money involve it could bring down slightly the US economy. Imagine that is billion of dollars being invested outside the US, it is a huge money.
494  Other / Meta / Re: The new rule (1 Merit for Jr. Member) is already reducing spam on: September 13, 2020, 09:29:05 AM
Probably not, Twitter also started banning accounts for ICO spam, and after the large crypto price drop with 99% or more losses on BS tokens, I can imagine many people learned their lesson.
Twitter also flooded with hastag for cryptocurrency and seeing this happen in their platform they acted upon immediately banning user with cryptocurrency hashtags or promoting ICO projects or any related to cryptocurrency. They pretty much know that most of the user promoting ICO are making fake twitter account another reason for them to ban these users. If there is a rule here in the forum like this prohibiting the user to promote scam related links which seem to be lot in other sections then I guess many users here will get ban. However, that is not a small job for the mods to do I guess. Anyway, I am glad to see that the forum had improve and has way better today compared before.
495  Other / Meta / Re: Self Moderated thread All Posts Deleted on: September 13, 2020, 08:45:30 AM
Well there is a warning that is visible when you tend to open or make a reply of a certain moderated thread. The one started the thread has the capability of deleting posts of the self moderated thread the user created. The user may be bias but this is the purpose of creating a self moderated thread to make sure that all replies ans posts will be deleted if the user sees it not necesarry even if the user will become bias in his decision making in posts the user wanted to delete.

So next time, be careful in doing reply such as self moderated threads. I know what the feeling of losing posts count because I am too a bounty hunter that even we are receiving few cents in doing bounty as long as it could be make use in daily life expenses it will matter. But the good thing is that even how hard to live life still we are not chosing the wrong path such as doing criminal acts to survive or to have a fast and easy money by scamming other users or people in real world.

Another thing is that I too learn this lesson, without you sharing this info then I can have probably the same fate as you do right now. Anyway, I think you can keep it up with posts count. Just remember too that we are in this forum to abide the forum rules. No spamming and shitposting here to be done to increase your post count. So I guess, you need to exert effort this time to make up with post count. This is life full of down and downs. LOL
496  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eterbase Exchange Hacked, Don't Leave Your Funds on Any Exchange! on: September 12, 2020, 10:29:14 PM
This is why digital offline wallets must be secured. There are diigital wallets now with feature like having a cold storage for storing volume of coins and at the same other feature that can be used is an exchange app where it can buy or spend coins stored in a different type of wallet  probably a hot wallet. Most likely exchange wallet are not safe even the establish exchange wallet like coinbase. So, the best thing that one can do is to get a digital cold storage for coin like hardware wallet and it might be good if it is a non-custodial type of wallet where you were the only user that can access your funds with no third party service involved.
497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining Offering And How To Identify Scam[HELP] on: September 12, 2020, 10:20:59 PM
Do not trust anyone to hold your money. If cloud mining is really true then why they ask payment for you to start mining? Most likely as other users pointed out that all of cloud mining are scam. There are large pool of mining coins already that even 1-2 GPU mining devices are now having difficulties to mine coins and get rewards. Well I am technically inclined but due to strong mining capabilities of large mining pool it wil tend to take over small mining devices and get the rewards. I am not really sure of this but yeah mining coins is good for large pool mining business.
498  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new in forum on: September 12, 2020, 04:15:47 PM
Welcome to the forum, BTW your username sounds familiar to which it is one of the characters to a TV network night time series  here in our place title ang probinsyano.

Because you were new and still confused how this forum works reading the pinned threads above will help you a lot.  Please do not disregard information posted that is within the reach. What you need to know is that how you will not get banned in the forum. Usually ban users here were due to copy and paste posts. But still you need to read the rules and regulations pinned above the threads.

Try also to understand how rank and merit system works. Newbie with exceptional skill could easily rank up in the forum. Try to check in how to earn merits as pre requisites to rank up. If you really wanted to earn merits then carefully study some legend rank users in their most merited posts so that can get an inspiration while I am away at home.

499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: #WARNING!!! Beware of this activities on Instagram. Don't fall victim. on: September 12, 2020, 04:02:05 PM
Well what do you expect with scammers they too are making it for a living so we can't expect for this things to stop. Anyway, this is a poor way of scamming like having fake giveaways. I think there will be few to fall for this kind of trap and I think only the desperate newbie who like to earn fast and easy money. We have made lot of threads about scam here but some users still fail to read to which it will lead to losses against these scammer. Aside from scamming, Phishing is also considered as one of the troublemaker for crypto holders. Stealing your crypto while you were sleeping is possible with the hackers and phishers around.
500  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 12, 2020, 03:39:16 PM
fiat currency will losses its capacity to buy during world war. Money could not buy for food nor it could be use for comfort because during war survival is the kry by keeping  food. bitcoin also will be no value during war because we know that bitcoin us being back by fiat currency. However, after the war fiat could be restore to its function but I guess not the digital currency like bitcoin. War is destructive and losses will be high like lossing hardware wallet and seed phrase. It is expected that there will be many users to lose bitcoin that could not be recovered.
