701  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning} Mekotio: A banking trojan and a bitcoin clipboard stealing malware on: August 14, 2020, 11:48:51 AM
This is really hard to guess what programs to be installed or not. The program interface were being copied. Is there any distinguishing details if it is the real program needing an update or a malware?

Internet is not safe anymore because of the hackers. They tend to abuse cryptocurrency in their hacking/phishing activities. Here in our place facebook was being targeted and vulnerable to hacking activity. The hackers also use bitcoin to pay them in returning the fb account. This is the trend here in our place but fb does only want to secure account by using the mobile number as account recovery.

The good thing is that more users here are active at this identifying scammers and fraud people wiling to share it here that we can learn. This is the reason why I always visiting this section for this is the appropritate section to learn about cryptocurrency and the new trends of ill people(scammers, hackers&fraudsters).

Do we have a police force.or taskforce reporting this people into a certain thread about conerns like this? I'll be happy to see if there and it will.be organize so that I could easily review the things that hackers and scammers did on their MODUS OPERANDI.

702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [POEM] Protest against scammers. on: August 14, 2020, 10:43:27 AM
I hope it will reach out to the scammers here. That what they are doing is wrong. Hoping also to all users that they will be educated to get away from scammers and fraud people. I know that there are many here wanted to learn and but some are confused where to start.

This section is one of the best section that a newbie should visit often. Questions should be raised here so that other users could help. I bet many here are motivated and willing to extens their time to help.

This poem encourages every users here in eradicating the scammers activities and enhance or strengthen education towards cryptocurency. It happen that I myself too wanted to join eliminiate scamm activities.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: August 14, 2020, 09:26:34 AM
hello guys,

i'm wondering why so many IEOs on P2PB2B exchange even every IEOs sales happens,

And after IEOs why that coin/Token can't achieve it's IEO price?
I will never join IEO on this exchange, because none of the IEO projects on P2PB2B have achieved good results. Projects that want IEO on P2PB2B are probably because of the low cost, but the problem with but like P2PB2B is that they don't have many users and don't have good liquidity but still conduct a lot of IEO.
Oh I thought that IEO is the next level of ICO projects to which it know to be a lots of scam projects. So all of it are just advertisement and marketing strategy and the worst dragging the P2B2b exchange and now comes to worst because it even now being tag into an exchange of scam or not good price. Well it is certain that prices will drop after it get listed. This is all that usually happen and I think investing into this kind of projects should be a big No No to me because of this scams.
704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earn Cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2020, 07:12:34 AM
Here's the best bitcoin website I know of: https://cointiply.com/home

It has surveys, faucets, games, etc. for earning bitcoin.

I used some of my earnings to buy games online!
I bet that earnings will not suffice to buy you a meal. It is because that bitcoin faucets are relatively small and many are ignoring for it to claim. I do not know in other country or places but here in our place even collective faucets were not good. Maybe those faucets before that bitcoin is not yet that expensive will do but i.think no one has saves their faucets before and able to save it until now. If they really do then they are the lucky ones to be able to save bitcoin faucet and earn late part or now for saving it.
705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to avoid high transaction fee on: August 14, 2020, 07:04:08 AM
We all knows that the transaction fee is getting insane in the past few weeks so what are the best ways to avoid paying high transaction fee without increasing the waiting time for the confirmation.

I don't think there is a back door out of this one. And in the other hand I believe you shouldn't even think of making a small transaction amount while knowing that the fee will take out half of it. In the past all this has already taken place and we are aware of it when ETH or BTC goes up fees increase rapidly.
Higher fees are due to high numbers of transactions being done which made miners to increase their service fee. This is what the most reason that there is an increase of transaction fee. Other than that most users are setting up higher transaction fee in return to fast and easy confirmations of the trnasaction or to simply say speed up  the transactions itself. This is why many are surprise on the sudden increase of the transaction fee. But, these all could be avoided. Hold your crypto for.now and enjoy the increasing movement of crypto market price.
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots in Online Casinos on: August 14, 2020, 06:06:41 AM
And the jackpot give by casino can also attract users to try this games the higher the jackpot the more people will play it. The good thing about slot is you can win big will only small amount of bet  you need to use . that's why many people trying there luck to win on that games. Small capital and highest winning  amount will be the main reasons why many people want to play it and want it to be added in any casino.
Yes, winning jackpot is good but one must know too the chances in winning jackpot with the numbers of the participant joins. This is not somehow my ideal way of betting because  i am not feeling lucky in this kind of betting. However, if they are only limited or few like over 100 participants then that would be good to bet and easy to.determine the winner. I have the great feeling that I can win over the others. Most likely I get lucky in smaller participants. And there are many platform offer like this on online casino.
707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 14, 2020, 05:53:23 AM
That was the point I was trying to get across in a few posts ago, Thiem would be the top player on clay if Nadal was retired already as I don't see any other next gen as good as Thiem on clay and he has even challenged Nadal for the French Open the past 2 years but still isn't good enough to beat him at a grand slam but has beaten him in other clay tournaments. The thing is that the top three are legends and we'll most likely never see this again in our lifetime where three players are winning all the grand slams every year.
Yes Thiem is legend at present but in history of wins like he is second to Thomas Muster (world leading tennis player in his time). Win a grandslam and relatively achieve greater things than Thiem. But, I think that if Thiem will continue to achieve greater things like a grandslam championship then he can surpass Thomas Muster. In tennis court I am a fan of Thiem, this is why that everytime he plays I always watch. One of his great plays that i watch was Thiem vs. Jannik Sinner and it was a great final match won by Thiem.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 14, 2020, 05:42:03 AM
This season has full of surprises. But commend to Utah Jazz for winning the game.

I guess we get to see more from the other teams, hopefully good news and not like this one anymore.
yeah..now that the western conference is a little bit confusing of which of the three teams competing for the 8th place for play offs. This is really something good between this three teams and my bet here is the trailblazers team. Carmelo Anthony and Damian Lillard were carrying the team just like what lebron did when he was playing cavaliers. I will watch closely on this team in the western conference.

Still my bet for championship is the lakers because of Lebron and other strong players like anthony Davis.
709  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk posting etiquette on: August 13, 2020, 11:22:48 PM
Useful thread I never notice this one in this section until OP made a bump.

The list of topics being mention above consider as guide on how to post here in bitcointalk. I admit that I myself did not know how to post right because of the language barrier to which english is not my language. The good thing is that there are some users extending their effort just to guide every users here in the forum like this one. Inl have tried some to post decently little by little to change bad habit thay should not be done. This is a way already to help the forum getting infested of shit posting activities.

This is a good move of OP consolidating the topics to be use as a guide. If all users will going to allow themselves ti learn here then higher chances we can get the best out of this forum. So with this, we should encourage all users to do the same and let topics like this visible to all.

Bump to this thread! My little way of helping.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: August 13, 2020, 02:24:08 PM
that's good, the restriction will be effective if the bounty is too much. will be the same if the bounty is only a little while the restriction makes other bounty hunters unable to take part. I agree with the restrictions and prizes that can be set for each participant. hopefully this can be taken into consideration by the development team and prospective development team who will share the bounty here and it is a success.
I also agree, aside from having a certain number of participants for a bounty campaign, it will also help to filter the bounty participants to increase the quality of the post for advertising the project. It will be an advantage for both project and bounty hunters if this solution will be implemented.
It is the role of bounty managers that could help minimize the number of the bounty participants. It is easy to be done because all applications are manually added to the list and once it is full then there is no way one can join.

However, it might be good also to do first is to minimize the number of the projects being introduced in the forum. Because of their numbers investors find it hard to chose and invest with. Then most likely investors now are learning that investing in ICO projects is a big NO No for it is a high chance of being a scam project.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: August 13, 2020, 02:11:37 PM
LoL, the title of the post got my attention. It is indeed working to those who are holding altcoins but not able to sell during the cryptocurency halving. It might be getting old now since it was being brought and still holding it waiting for when it comes that it could recover and sell again without losses. But holding them too long does not mean that one should hold it forever as what it was implied in the title of the topic. Do not hold altcoins forever and sell it when you can earn. But if that coin your holding is a shit coin like dead project then good luck. Surely you can marry it and hold forever.
712  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Memes! on: August 13, 2020, 01:52:37 PM
I saw a meme template in FB that goes viral recently. This is usually used to describe the "misery with happy ending" experiences in which everyone from our local community can relate (same as So I tried to create one which of course related here, I hope this will make you smile Grin.
I remember when I was a kid. This happen to me also where I was crying but eventually laughing after some jokes crack by one of the members of the family. They even notice that while my tears fell down I was laughing at the same time.

Anyway, too many to make some fun of it but I guess I could not reply all base on the image that I have seen like theymos and the scammers. With this memes we can still think that there is hope in fighting the wrong doings around this forum. This encourages us all to do our part and inform or alert all the users here by posting any kind of fraud or scam activities. We know that there is no perfect forum but I do hope that we can still get the best out of Bitcointalk forum. I am a big fan because I learn a lot here and avoided lots of scam and fraud from networking scam. I had even encounter people here promoting a networking scam using cryptocurrency. And when I ask about if they know the forum the answer is that they do not know about it to which I think I had more knowledge on them about cryptocurrency than them.
713  Other / Meta / Re: Super Merit Table - Where did you spend/received all of your merits on: August 13, 2020, 01:43:00 PM
Wow another statistics has been presented. I had so much love you guys for making so many statistics in this forum. It somehow could be use in the future for references. As we can see the statistics do not lie and we can interpret whether were the point we need to improve or the part that are already working and done better. Even in research as I have remember during college days, the statistics plays important role in the study. I just needed how to learn this as it is one of my hated part where I really do not like the Math subject.

Anyway, I wanted also to test this out to see where did i spend/receive my merits in this forum. Thanks for this idea surely I can manage now to see the details of the merits being spent and received.
714  Other / Meta / Re: Is your Bitcointalk password strong enough? on: August 13, 2020, 01:31:23 PM
I guess I do not need to secure my BCT account for it is already secured. I think also that it is not needed because sale of BCT account is discourage though it is not prohibited but with this member rank I guess no one or only few will be interested to get this account. I do not see other reason of the need to get a strong password. Just in case this account will be hack then I think I can make another account and will just report this account that it was being hack. The only problem is that I will going to start again posting and waiting for the time that I could get merit to rank up to jr.member up to member in rank. Besides getting merit for an average poster like me is difficult and I need to struggle for it to get. However, I could still do good in the forum. I am still working on a progress of learning about blockchain and how could it be attain and apply in an existing business. This is an alternative to POS I guess if it will be possible then surely I will make use of blockchain. POS will be a compliance to the government agency needing it that is my opinion.

So how strong is my BCT password? LOL. So much easy to remember as easy as 123 let's Go!
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: August 13, 2020, 10:51:09 AM
We are having same question for I am also interested to.know how the bitcoin market price will be dictated by its users as what they say that investors run the bitcoin system. We know that we have different bitcoin holdings and this is why how could bitcoin make a calculation when one sell part of bitcoin and how much the depreciation of value will apply to the others who are also holding bitcoin. I am really confuse but I know tha bitcoin is same as with money only that its value will vary always.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: August 13, 2020, 08:43:46 AM
When it comes to capital or the starting fund, playing dice is more good because like you said it only requires small amount of bet unlike in dice where the minimum bet can be expensive for other gamblers just like when I play in roobet where I can bet $0.1 in dice while their minimum bet in slots is $0.3 and for me the difference is huge and it is the reason why I play more dice than in slots. Both of them are profitable, it is really depends on certain gambler on what is their preferences.
Well, I guess not the minimum bet depend on the configuration. I have seen an article or site stating the minimum bet will depend on paylines. For example a 10 fixed paylines with a minimum coin value of 0.01 then the minimum bet will be 0.1. This is what I have understood in that article and I could not find it again and paste the link here.

Anyway, the good thing is that whatever game that a gambler choses between the choices will do good, excitement winning cash and fun.

717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: August 13, 2020, 08:31:47 AM
I guess this(the last image) is close to what regular chess game is about? I wonder if all  chess players are aware of this or just play like kids would innocently play some kinds of games that look harmless/safe but have lots of deep bad meaning.   Hope it's not the case with chess.
This is not really the case of chess or maybe we do not know the tradition of playing chess or how the game was being made as I have made a short google search it started to india but to.what I think of that the game was started as a real strategy in combat or wars. The board could be the representation of the real battle.in the field. The board is used as a practice in a strategic battle. This is what I think of when seeing that last picture as you too.were being mention and getting not a good vibes in it.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 13, 2020, 08:20:56 AM
They become greed after they win some money, and they want to repeat to get another winning. But they wrong, luck will not come twice, and even if the luck comes in the second time, that will not always bigger than the first time.

Stopping gambling will be the best decision that we can make after winning those games because we need to rest for a while after having a big tension in the games. So stopping from playing will give us a chance to take a breath, and enjoy the money which will be an important thing for the gamblers.
Probably you are right but of course there also cases that after one win in gambling and then again get some losses to which money pocketed are almost gone then suddenly another luck comes along the way during the betting. This is why others do not want to go or end playing when they can still have some fun despite of having the chances that one will lost all the way.

I think it is the prerogative of a gambler whether he wants to play more or not. And in the times that we need to get more fun this is the wa that can help one to get excitement.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 12, 2020, 01:51:26 PM
Oh tha is good news for cryptocurrency users. Now ethereum has been already integrated into business and the system will do good usually because it has blockchain and there is no need to receive receipt for proof or for tracing if really a client pays or not the bill for entrance or the service of which the beach has offered. This will also make a way for a better service of establishment not only in the beach resort but also to other forms of establishment.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: August 12, 2020, 01:47:52 PM
I am not earning in cryptocurrency for now because I am still not investing to it due to the bitcoin halving knowing that it could be the end of bitcoin that time. But, I was wrong and bitcoin now goes strong. Anyway, earning here is reltively most.of.the bounty hunters like to do. The problem is most of the project they promote is scam. So, it is a waste of time and energy doing the task the bounty manager wantaled to and at the end you will get token as rewards but it is like a shit with no value.
