761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 08, 2020, 05:54:43 AM
honestly I see many obstacles in this matter of regulating online casinos.

1 - How will governments carry out periodic inspections at online casinos if these online casinos have no physical headquarters?

I don't think it's hard to do it, as long as the casino is given a license to operate, they are under the regulation of the government, and they can ask the casino to give them a pass to check their system if they complied, it's easy, they'll only check the amount of bets as what we are talking here is only the limits, with the advance technology now, this is not hard to do.

2 - in case of disputes between the client and the casino, how will governments manage to resolve if cryptocurrencies are not regulated?

Like I mentioned above, this is only for regulated casinos which is under their jurisdiction, they have no access nor control of the crypto casinos when not regulated.
Regulating online based or crypto based casino is very simple. Many would wonder how they will be able to see the transactions being done withou POS? Well we know that casino are using blockchain and if not they should be required to use blockchain before they can get their license to operate. Then what happen next? Simply online casino could not evade tax on it for all the transactions being done are being made public due to blockchain. So, meaning regulating this and taxing casino were very easy for them and there could be more ways for the goverment to regulate online casino. And as expected if online casino violated their rulings then high penalty awaits. This is how they make sure that online casino should follow the protocols and their mandate. Usually penalty is so high that if you are the owner of the casino you would not mind following the rules and regulations rather than getting fine on the high penalties.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forecast John McAfee $500,000 on: August 07, 2020, 07:02:40 AM
he retracts his words, I often see that old man making nonsense, so don't listen to him anymore, even though I've been waiting for that he eats his own cock, lol
now no one wants to listen to him, even he made a project called Ghost, I didn't touch it and wasn't interested in seeing it

By now we already know what John McAfee is up to, I mean that is 2017, wherein the market is just on a bull run and there's a lot of irrational buyers specially on bitcoin market and then he made his prediction. And people think back then that he was the real deal. LOL. Damn, many noobs really fall for it, and then he became a so called crypto influencer, and then he said that his twitter account was hack etc. etc. But nevertheless, no one is really believing him today, probably making some decent money, but unlike 3 years ago wherein he can command 6 digits just for mentioning some shitcoins on his twitter.
Well it is still 3 years from now still the three years grease period not done yet. Who knows he will be the one to make it happen. Well just have to wait and see for it to happen.

However, I myself pretty sure that this will not going to happen. It took more than whales to make it happen. Maybe he was just excited with it and make high specualtions on bitcoin. This year also is the year where it made bitcoin to ATH.
763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jon Prosser’s YouTube Channel Hacked on: August 07, 2020, 06:52:23 AM
Oh no..This is bad for cryptocurrency. I expect that somehow could do good to our comfort accdg. to its purpose but it seems that many had been abusing cryptocurrency now like this hacking activity on youtube now doing fraud to 262k subscribers. This is very bad and possible many will fall foe this trap. Anyway, does it happen that the youtube account already reported to youtube admin? I think it does need for the account to be temporarily close.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is the future of crowdfunding? on: August 07, 2020, 06:04:24 AM
I don't know about the norm, but I have seen a recent crowdfunding project using crypto so it does exist. I think it may be awhile before it becomes mainstream
Crowdsourcing is not that easy actually it needs study before it will be implemented. It should be a formidable form of project before asking funds from the crowd. However, using crypto in this matter is not wrong. Actually it is good especially if project later on will going to get a goog start until the project fully implemented. anyway I just do hope that crowdsourcing project will get better support from the communityand encourage everyone to invest in crodsoiring project.
765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 07, 2020, 05:58:10 AM
digital payments are indeed the best choice for the current corona virus pandemic. But in my opinion, the measure for permanence is still far away, because until now we still need paper currency for the survival of a country's economy. so, let me say no in this case
No or you could also say that it could depend on the preference of the user. One can optionally use digital currency and fiat currency. There is no conflict of using both system because both are acceptable to the community. Aside from that due to pandemic online transaction find more suitable in this case so no wonder why we should also need to promote this kind of tra saction for the betterment and comfort of the users between digital currency and fiat currency users.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 07, 2020, 05:54:35 AM
So, as i am keeping half of my bitcoin in exchanges, i should be good. Naturally they can be hacked but apparently there is a possibility of a huge explosion as well so i rather trust experts to keep my coins safe. Not to mention that i think they (big exchanges) have insurance to cover an attack.
No, storing crypto in exchanges is not really a good idea even if it is a reputable exchanges because these exchanges are subject for hacking for this is where crypto exchange will going to happen and it can be the best place for the hackers to get more bitcoins and other crypto.

There are many ways to secured crypto funds and its crypto wallets and that involve using back up copiesnof private keys and walley address of your wallet. One can use USB, MICRSO SD and other small saving device. Offline wallets also may do? Maybe..
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why only Bitvest and 777Coin on: August 07, 2020, 05:48:02 AM
I made a reply on greenspin.bet freshest gambling casino. Yes, this is new and they had made cool offer though if in my opinion if it will be compared to bitvest and 777coin then pretty sure this two has the edge over new casino platform. This is why I consider the best gambling casino so far here. Just observe the bounty campaigns being made by these two gambling casino, relatively the longest so far and they accepted many users to promote the project that includes high rank and reputable users here. The best so far gambling casino goes to 777coin and bitvest.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 07, 2020, 05:44:17 AM
Blazers really won it.
I should've left it alone and not add more as a parlay.
You did well again stadus.
Now I am back to my losing streak. Damn scores keep getting high even if they are not offensive teams.
Ergh! I need to consider everything now. I am losing all my winnings from the last Brooklyn bet.

Edit: I have been searching for NBA restart standings but I cannot find one.
Is there a right keyword for this?
Congrats!

Yeah most of the team now are really good in shooting. Probably inspired by the Golden States team? LOL Stephen Curry is good at it even just a little glimpse at the ring and quick shooting may do a 3 pointer score. This is what I think I have seen in locals where they wanted also to win games in Basket by just shooting in the three pointer perimeter area.

Anyway, next game scheduled will be:

Utah Jazz Vs. San Antonio Spurs 1pm August 7, 2020
Oklahoma Thunder vs. Memphis Grizzlies 4pm
Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers 6:30Pm
Washington Wizards vs. New Orleans Pelicans 8PM
Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors 9PM

Now check and see which team you could bet next and win on them. My bet here for high chances of winning the match is Raptors and others still need to consider though their plays.

770  Other / Meta / Re: Protecting Your Account on: August 07, 2020, 03:51:17 AM
I had not been protecting my account ever since and they can hack this account anytime. I have no worries about it for I can still make a new one here. Anyway, I can get merit if I wanted to even just for member in rank. But, I am not that confident though to reach that rank but still it could be attainable. But I am not after for the rank, the best thing to be here in the forum is to learn from others and reading news about bitcoin. There are other users posting on successful story about bitcoin and there so much we can learn about them. Promoting projects is not really a priority but it can be like an incentives of course for letting the project pays you.
771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INTRODUCTION TO CHART FOR NEWBIES on: August 07, 2020, 03:41:45 AM
Job well done OP, but I think most of us can read chart especially that it is the simplified form of representing data being collected over a period of time. Aside from that the colors also indicates the data that been observed in the actual.

This chart topic reminds me of the statistics we had made in college days, we had so much trouble in the making for we are confused in the data to entry in the x and y axis bar. We had made some arguing but in the end we failed by our instructor. So much fun now remembering it. LOL
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 06, 2020, 08:10:42 AM
I don't believe that it will become permanently changed or cashless will take over or remove the traditional way in the society.
What I believe is, cashless will be the new trend and the traditional way will still stay as it is, it will be choice for the people what will they use.

There are lot of different using digital than physical, but we should also consider a lot of pros and cons on it. Even we say digital payment is really convenient, there are still lot of people don't want to use it or don't know what to do.
yes, that is right. Others are thinking differently why they like more on cashless when we can have an option to use when it comes to exchange goods, products and services. Cashless would be more suitable and comfort to high traffic transactions but traditional.exchange may be used also when everything in digital will going to experience technical issues.  We can expect on technical problems to arise of course we are using digital devices that has life span in terms of its use.
773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: August 06, 2020, 08:05:11 AM
everyone is free to talk and speculate, you also do things that invite people to think what you think, but you don't want people to be free to think what they think, it's true that most of them often write about price speculation that doesn't enter sense but believe that bitcoin always has a surprise for the price, have you ever suffered a big loss so you made this thread

Yes it is true that bitcoin market value is unpredictable. This is why there are so many speculations with the different basis on how they make the speculations. But only few guess will be right and it is hard also to guess it correctly. However what really matter is about bitcoin that really done good and slowly recover or even it surpasses the previous market value after the ATH. BTC reach to almost 10k-12K usd but it rarely happen because bitcoin could hary stretch to 12k usd above in terms of its market value.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 06, 2020, 07:58:55 AM
Yes even the online wallets could also been wipe out by that explosion. It gets worst when money is really needed and one can't access into it for emergency purposes. I had been a replying posts like this of how could cryptocurrency be accessible especially in case of emergency. It is very difficult and I think there should be another way to make an ease on accessong crypto funds for emergency. I just wonder how could it be done but I need to read more replies here to get enlighten.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flooding in China effect on bitcoin on: August 06, 2020, 07:54:12 AM
What are peoples thoughts on the effect of flooding in China.

that there is no flood (yet)

The three Gorges dam has been failing to hold back the monsoon season and threatening to flood major Chinese mining operations.

1. Many (if not all) miners moved from China, due to government threats to the industry
2. Three Gorges dam is the subject of stories about it being weak or failing

Please write a new thread when something actually happens, your thread is basically:

"Someone said something about something that hasn't happened, and it wouldn't matter even if it did" Roll Eyes
I like your reply and it is direct to the point for OP to understand what should be the right way to do with rumors. We cannot expect good things with rumors unless it is happening and or with concrete events or details about the event. Speculation of discussion regarding to it will not evensolve their problem. It might be good to update us here once there are things that happen already.

But, here is my few cents. If flooding will going to happen then pretty sure it will affect bitcoin.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: August 06, 2020, 07:28:41 AM
I've participated an escrow bounty, but still I'm still disappointed because the bounty campaign that I've participated was fake and I have nothing to do with the reward.
I do not understand what escrow bounty you mean. Most of the time escrow bounty had already set the rewards and being trusted to an escrow service. Usually a project like that succeed because the team for sure are not fraud and will do or implement the project. Escrow rewards to a certain project is one way to make sure that the rewards will be distributed to all who participated the promotion of the projects. This is why others are looking for a project like this but there are few then escrow service run away with the rewards and being tag as scammer or fraud.
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hackers Arrested! [Updated] on: August 06, 2020, 03:36:58 AM
Pretty sure those will be put to prison and maybe there are some stories needed to disclose here. There is no way that only 17 year old could do this without those people around that are much more knowledgeable in this hacking activity. I think that the 17 year old was just a bait for the real one who do this hacking activity. Well this will probably a long way before this can be resolve. Hoping for the best of the investigation although the prosecutor had already been convince that the 17 year old is no ordinary 17 years old having the knowledge on hacking.
778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 06, 2020, 03:31:16 AM
It's ok to read and listen to their analysis but when making your decision to invest it's your final decision that matters and that final decision should go to your own analysis, there is no such thing as perfect analysis or analyzer they do make mistakes from time to time we don;t know if they are also investing on the project they are reviewing, some of them are paid shills.
In my case I would rather invest in a solid form of investment no matter how long the ROI I could get as long as it does not compromise the security of investment. I consider cryptocurrency but I think I could only go far on bitcoin and other establish altcoins like ethereum but other than that with the new offers nowadays then I think it does need a long study and research but still not an assurance that it could get enough ROI in that kind of investment. One should not trust their money to others unless as I have mention earlier that it is something solid like bitcoin investment.

I know others will not consider bitcoin as investment but as what others seeing also that bitcoin could relatively a form of investment because of its market value volatility which trading could happen wether a long term trade or a short term trading.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 06, 2020, 03:23:48 AM
They are not a championship contender team but they are still fun to watch though.
North Port now is a different team, they are a defensive team and they also have threat inside and outside.

We seem to forget other guys in the team.

We also have Elorde ( good defender), Sean Anthony ( Good defender and shooter) and of course Kevin Ferrer who can play quality minutes.
I like the North Port team and they seem to have evolve over the period of time especially in their official colors. One of the team that has the beautiful colors on their uniform and also a team to which good players had been started like Gary David and Willie Miller others good players like Sol Mercado and Japeth Aguilar. For now since this is the start of the new league for PBA then I hope that North Port could get into championship games as it was happen way back lead by Terrence Romeo.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: August 06, 2020, 03:14:24 AM
[DOTA 2] My Dota 2 picks for today:

HellRaisers - Omegalil: HellRaisers -1.5, 1.89 @ MY BETSLIP
5men - B8: 5men, 1.32 @ MY BETSLIP

Both matches are BO3, group stage. Be careful, go lower. -1.5 handicap is very risky bet. 5men vs B8 could be a good match, but 5men are big favourites for now, most probably since they have pretty strong lineup on the paper, but I wonder how they will perform longterm.

GL!
If we will base on the statistics yes pretty sure 5men has good records compared to the B8. But, I think that B8 should not be underestimate in this match because they too got a good experience in playing. They too have great players that could have high chances also to win this game. Well the advise was pretty good to get no lower -1.5 handicap bet for 5men vs. B8. This is what I like to be here in the forum to which I can get the idea of others especially in betting esports. I love playing DOTA2 and also love to watch those pro playing the game.
