Glad to see this project managed to reach softcap before ICO. Not so many projects are able to do that nowadays. We'll see how this gonna go really soon.
I think it's gonna go up and high! hahaha. That probably means that this project is practical and can be viewed as realistic by cryptocurrency users. The project in itself is already attractive and I'm not really sure about how their selling it but the idea in itself is really worth.

I like the idea of freelance online sellers being allowed in the platform, and for them to be verified if they choose to, and establish themselves as an online brand. In case the platform really goes worldwide, simple self made brands can be bought from anywhere! Smiley
The idea of getting an account verified is really great, it's just like in social media wherein verified accounts are the ones people search and follow. If in case a verified account provides great products and services, definitely it will be a good and patronized brand in the platform.
This is really a great opportunities for each local seller in case it really goes worldwide and with shipping support. There are many online sellers selling handmade stuff in their own countries like sweats, artistic crafts, costumes and others. It's a great opportunity for them.
Making a good brand name within the platform is made easier since you can have your account verified, and also get ratings from your buyers. If you keep on getting good ratings from them, your brand will grow.

I understand that cryptoriya is multi functional wallet that can house multiple number of tokens and also have the ability to instantly convert tokens into cash, this means cryptoriya can be link to bank account for withdrawal of fiat to personal bank account?
This is similar to shapeshift in services?
Not really linked since you won't be providing information ton them unless you are actually withdrawing. The process is discussed in the whitepaper saying that you just need to go to the platform, fill in the details, and your tokens could be sent as cash into a debit card,or to a bank account, or to the cryptoriya card.
Not really like shapeshift, but yes, there are similarities. Shapeshift offers crypto as if it's stock or forex, with cryptoriya, it's more focused on crypto to anything but probably mostly cash and more convenience.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users on: June 25, 2018, 06:00:16 AM

Wow a speculated 180 million dollar app? Progressive web apps? im not really a techqie person i dont even know this term
but the promises it gives stands out compare to apple store and google store app.  If they can deliver what they promise users would definitely have this on their phones.

Being First in the industry a platform that uses blockchain plus the benefits PWA can give to the users, i can speculate that this token
would reach potential and deserved value.
An app store being implemented on blockchain industry is indeed a new thing, and the transactions involved would be slightly different because it would now involve crypto currencies. For crypto users, they would probably try it, but how are they gonna encourage those who are not into crypto?
I think if they partner up with OEM, there's a great possibility of patronage since it would be built in. Also, in case the apps available in the app store are free, then definitely users would feel that there would be no harm in buying or installing those apps.
Partnering with OEM would be great if it is a big and well sold brand, and more OEM would actually be better. I agree that people usually patronize free apps over apps with fees, like most social media apps and practical educational apps.
It would be a great idea since it would be multi-platform, for them to partner up with many OEM so that many devices would already have them and possibility of users trying them out. Having it already installed in the system would make users try it.
Having the yappadappadoo app store already installed in the system would encourage users to try it, and if the apps inside are free and worth it, we can expect patronage. Having partnerships with OEM companies would really be a great thing.
I think an partnership with OEM is essential for the success of this project since their tag line is "Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users", and being multi platform, they can expect better market reach if the products people buy already has it.
Also, if they have partnership with OEM, we can expect that they have product tests and that they have tried and tested the apps multi platform functionality and that it performs well across all platforms.
If they are able to partner up with a big OEM and with many OEMs, then it would really be revolutionary since their app store is installed in many devices, and the apps available would probably be patronized.
I looked that up on the whitepaper and saw that it was part of the SWOT as opportunity, it is a great opportunity and I hope that they would be able to get partnership with device manufacturers and have them as their app store.
This is what is said about OEM partnerships in the whitepaper:
Quote
Device manufacturers
Mobile phone, tablet and other device manufacturers offer exceptional potential for publicising the yappadappadoo Store. With one stroke, we can potentially increase market penetration in a very significant way. In order to attract OEMs to participate in our bootstrap strategy we will consider broad-reaching partnerships with individual rewards for the number of devices with the yappadappadoo App Store pre-installed, revenue participation for sales and in-app purchases, etc.

Its nice for this project to include games and prizes in the platform. There will be a "casino" and there will be a "gaming area", what is the difference between the two?
People would become regular users of the platform if they will be having lottery like the others where people would get free lottery tickets for every game that they joined and have a chance to win huge amount of tokens.
I think the amount of tokens that you can win on the lottery depends on the number of lottery tickets. Having lottery in the platform is a great idea, and also the gambling part is practical since there are so many crypto gambling sites and they seem to be patronized.
I think it would be nice if other than casino, there would be a place for freelance game developers to sell their games or for the gaming area to be having other online games that can't be found in the casino.
Since there would be a social media platform, I think their target is to become like fb, so the gaming area would be like that in fb and the games available are connected to the social media platform and are playable online.
There is improvement in the whitepaper but there are still improvements that could be made. I hope they would be able to write all of their ideas in their own language so that all ideas that needed to be represented would be there, then just get a translator afterwards. PS. Must use numbers or bullets on the last part.
They should at least have presented the ideas they have on the fist areas that they will launch, online shopping and online job platform, as welll as what's behind their token and wallet and its security.

What problems will this platform solve? Is it really practical? Won't it just be another central place for data hoarding?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users on: June 24, 2018, 08:57:49 AM
What transactions are going to be involved in your "transaction universe"? There should be highlights and data flow diagrams with regards to that I think so that 1. Developers would easily understand how much better and simple it will be and 2. Users would know what transactions would be involved and how easy it will be compared to existing systems.
Well, simple transactions probably, the ones normally applicable to app stores: purchasing apps, in-app purchases, advertising, app development and sale related transactions.
There's really not much you can do in the app store, so, I don't think there will be much to discuss unless they will be monetizing even the minor things that you do inside like free trials and writing reviews.
The transaction fees that might be applicable or involved in it according to the whitepaper would include the app purchase, in app purchases, advertising fees and hosting fees.
Nevertheless, implementing the system of payments and transactions on blockchain makes it better for all the users involved, whether it is the developer, or the app  user, or the app store, blockchain makes it better.

The truth is a proposition based on factual evidence.
Therefore, anyone searching for the truth has first of all ask himself: what reasonable amount of evidence would be required to make me change my mind.
The problem with many believers is that they are not on a quest to discover truth, rather their goal is much simpler: keep believing no matter what kind of evidence is shown to them.

Are you a theosophist??? How do you know that you know? How do you know that you know the truth? Well, believers would way it's faith, no need to argue though I'm curious about the evidence.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The news show old videos but blame MR TRUMP for the detention of kids .. on: June 24, 2018, 05:34:48 AM
I agree that what is shown in the news are staged since I saw evidences of that, but I also saw a post somewhere where the journalists took pictures of the area where the kids are being detained. Well, foreigners can't do anything about that. I support Trump leaving the Human Rights council, but I hope they just don't let them in instead of keeping them.

Have you heard that children were separated from their parents under Obama & Clinton? Then, you need a little Facts vs Myths lesson. Michelle Martin, PhD Cal State Fullerton summed up the most important FACTS:

There is so much misinformation out there about the Trump administration's new "zero tolerance" policy that requires criminal prosecution, which then warrants the separating of parents and children at the border. Before responding to a post defending this policy, please do your research...As a professor at a local Cal State, I research and write about these issues, so here, I'll make it easier for you:

Myth: This is not a new policy and was practiced under Obama and Clinton - FALSE. The policy to separate parents and children is new and was instituted on 4/6/2018. It was the brainchild of John Kelly and Stephen Miller to serve as a deterrent for undocumented immigration, approved by Trump, and adopted by Sessions. Prior administrations detained migrant families, but didn’t have a practice of forcibly separating parents from their children unless the adults were deemed unfit. https://www.justice.gov/…/press-rele…/file/1049751/download…

Myth: This is the only way to deter undocumented immigration - FALSE. Annual trends show that arrests for undocumented entry are at a 46 year low, and undocumented crossings dropped in 2007, with a net loss (more people leaving than arriving). Deportations have increased steadily though (spiking in 1996 and more recently), because several laws that were passed since 1996 have made it legally more difficult to gain legal status for people already here, and thus increased their deportations (I address this later under the myth that it's the Democrats' fault). What we mostly have now are people crossing the border illegally because they've already been hired by a US company, or because they are seeking political asylum. Economic migrants come to this country because our country has kept the demand going. But again, many of these people impacted by Trump's "zero tolerance" policy appear to be political asylum-seekers. https://www.npr.org/…/arrests-for-illegal-border-crossings-…

Myth: Most of the people coming across the border are just trying to take advantage of our country by taking our jobs - FALSE. Most of the parents who have been impacted by Trump's "zero tolerance" policy have presented themselves as political asylum-seekers at a U.S. port-of-entry, from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Rather than processing their claims, they have been taken into custody on the spot and had their children ripped from their arms. The ACLU alleges that this practice violates the Asylum Act, and the UN asserts that it violates the UN Treaty on the State of Refugees, one of the few treaties the US has ratified. This is an illegal act on the part of the United States government, not to mention morally and ethically reprehensible. https://www.nytimes.com/…/meatpackers-profits-hinge-on-pool…

Myth: We're a country that respects the Rule of Law, and if people break the law, this is what they get - FALSE. We are a country that has an above-ground system of immigration and an underground system. Our government (under both parties) has always been aware that US companies recruit workers in the poorest parts of Mexico for cheap labor, and ICE (and its predecessor INS) has looked the other way because this underground economy benefits our country to the tune of billions of dollars annually. Thus, even though the majority of people crossing the border now are asylum-seekers, those who are economic migrants (migrant workers) likely have been recruited here to do jobs Americans will not do. https://www.upi.com/…/Donald-Trumps-wall-ign…/2621477498203/

Myth: The children have to be separated from their parents because there parents must be arrested and it would be cruel to put children in jail with their parents - FALSE. First, in the case of economic migrants crossing the border illegally, criminal prosecution has not been the legal norm, and families have been kept together at all cost. Also, crossing the border without documentation is a typically a misdemeanor not requiring arrest, but rather a civil proceeding. Additionally, parents who have been detained have historically been detained with their children in ICE "family residential centers," again, for civil processing. The Trump administration's shift in policy is for political purposes only, not legal ones. See p. 18: https://www.aclu.org/…/ms-l-v-ice-plaintiffs-opposition-def…

Myth: We have rampant fraud in our asylum process the proof of which is the significant increase we have in the number of people applying for asylum. FALSE. The increase in asylum seekers is a direct result of the increase in civil conflict and violence across the globe. While some people may believe that we shouldn't allow any refugees into our country because "it's not our problem," neither our current asylum law, nor our ideological foundation as a country support such an isolationist approach. There is very little evidence to support Sessions' claim that abuse of our asylum-seeking policies is rampant. Also, what Sessions failed to mention is that the majority of asylum seekers are from China, not South of the border. Here is a very fair and balanced assessment of his statements: http://www.politifact.com/…/jeff-sessions-claim-about-asyl…/

Myth: The Democrats caused this, "it's their law." FALSE. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats caused this, the Trump administration did (although the Republicans could fix this today, and have refused). I believe what this myth refers to is the passage of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, which were both passed under Clinton in 1996. These laws essentially made unauthorized entry into the US a crime (typically a misdemeanor for first-time offenders), but under both Republicans and Democrats, these cases were handled through civil deportation proceedings, not a criminal proceeding, which did not require separation. And again, even in cases where detainment was required, families were always kept together in family residential centers, unless the parents were deemed unfit (as mentioned above). Thus, Trump's assertion that he hates this policy but has no choice but to separate the parents from their children, because the Democrats "gave us this law" is false and nothing more than propaganda designed to compel negotiation on bad policy. https://www.independent.co.uk/…/trump-democrats-us-border-m…

Myth: The parents and children will be reunited shortly, once the parents' court cases are finalized. FALSE. Criminal court is a vastly different beast than civil court proceedings. Also, the children are being processed as unaccompanied minors ("unaccompanied alien children"), which typically means they are sent into the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS). Under normal circumstances when a child enters the country without his or her parent, ORR attempts to locate a family member within a few weeks, and the child is then released to a family member, or if a family member cannot be located, the child is placed in a residential center (anywhere in the country), or in some cases, foster care. Prior to Trump's new policy, ORR was operating at 95% capacity, and they simply cannot effectively manage the influx of 2000+ children, some as young as 4 months. Also, keep in mind, these are not unaccompanied minor children, they have parents. There is great legal ambiguity on how and even whether the parents will get their children back because we are in uncharted territory right now. According to the ACLU lawsuit (see below), there is currently no easy vehicle for reuniting parents with their children. Additionally, according to a May 2018 report, numerous cases of verbal, physical and sexual abuse were found to have occurred in these residential centers. https://www.aclu.org/…/aclu-obtains-documents-showing-wides…

Myth: This policy is legal. LIKELY FALSE. The ACLU filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on 5/6/18, and a recent court ruling denied the government's motion to dismiss the suit. The judge deciding the case stated that the Trump Administration policy is "brutal, offensive, and fails to comport with traditional notions of fair play and decency." The case is moving forward because it was deemed to have legal merit. https://www.bloomberg.com/…/aclu-suit-over-child-separation…

As what I've read on their whitepaper, 2.6 page 12 it says that the yappadaappadoo application will become number 3 app store  in the whole world. I slightly don't agree with this statement because what I think is that when this project will be launched, it will be the number 1 app store in the world, because the convenience of the app is greater than those popular app store right now.
just sayin.

I admire your positivity towards the yappadaappadoo project, anyway, this project will surely reach the top, but I think it would take much time, as we all know, the yappadaappadoo project isn't yet launched, and if ever it will be, it takes time to gain popularity since it is not yet well known in the society.
That would be awesome but I think number 3 would be much more realistic. Apple app store and Google play store are probably now starting to implement apps on PWA so, this will just be an additional competition.

I believe you're right, if the progressive web application is already used by other famous apps, I think that those giant app stores will also adopt it especially when they know that the PWA has great features that can attract customers.
PWA will also be available in those giant app store, like twitter lite and messenger lite I believe are PWA, and many other apps using PWA technology are already successful in the industry. I wonder what else will be available in this platform?

I get the other money making parts like the verification part and referral part but how will the reputation building system work? Whta does the users need to do? Will they just need to write up regarding someone else's schools and training even though they don't know about it?
I think it might work like up vote or like or something like that, and it seems that each profile has some kind of percentage in it so those with high percentage have better profiles, sort of.
Will it be trustworthy then? If the school or training institution is really good, then there would be no problem building its reputation and building the reputation of the applicant. Is that how it works?
I'm not sure hot it really works but it probably means you just have to build the applicant's reputation and get paid by it, probably. Not sure how that could help an applicant since the application should speak for itself.
Hmmm, its a good question actually. They used to say all about security and privacy pattern but we do not understand how reputation building works. If it is percentage based giving it is not accurate and may be got the idea of percent on how the school was rated by the past reviews of the reviewers. For me as an suggestion make a picture verification for the platform to check if the paper is correct and check if it was legit.
It says algorithm stuff on the whitepaper, but what about the actual building of the reputation, how does that part work out? I'm not sure if it would become an effective hiring tool.

People nowadays was inclined about 3-in-1, 5-1, and all in one products. It is good that this Dev's created this concept of many in one project. Marketing and trading is very present on this kind of project actually.
I also think this as a good idea for a project but I also think that it would be difficult to implement it all at the same time so, it is a good decision to release one function at a time.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users on: June 22, 2018, 06:01:20 AM
Spotify can play online. However, if you want to download songs to your device, you can play them later offline too. But having lists of songs in your phone will occupy a big oart of your phone memory. This is contradicting. If you want it offline, it can be at your phone memory’s expense. If you want it no installation you will need a full internet connection

You're right! I'm also starting to think that some of their concept is contradicting just like for example Spotify as what you've said it's indeed contradicting, when I think the purpose of no installation is to save some storage in our devices.

It is not contradicting actually if we try to understand the whole concept.

You see, PWAs are apps that does not require to be installed before you can use them, since it runs on the server itself and not merely on our devices. But content-aware applications such as spotify gives us a chance to play songs offline by dowoading the music content and not the app it itslef.

I hope this helped.

Yes you're right! There's a big difference between the content and the app, because the app is the only focus of the no installation system so meaning to say the app is the only thing that won't affect your storage but when it comes to the content you've downloaded, it's completely take your storage.

Glad to know you got the point naruto.

Content downloads are really user dependent. One can choose to download them, specially for music and videos so they could play them offline, yet, the download will never be mandatory. That is why PWAs will remain a storage saving technology.

Got it! And it just shows that we can have our own choice whether to download the content of the app, if that is more convenient to us especially on our gadget"s storage or simply access the PWAs.

That's the beauty of this project, the users will encounter true satisifaction of PWA which is multi-platform, lightning fast and clever to work

offline. Then, yappadappadoo Store will link to the Blockchain. Independence, transparency and security are guaranteed.

That is right. The speed of using Progressive Web Apps (PWA) is undeniable. In addition to this great feature, security and being flexible to other devices are a plus.  YAPPADAPPADOO team really are doing something that is revolutionary, bringing the applications to the next level.

YAPPADAPPADOO project is really a good one which was boost by using Blockchain Technology on their platform to ensure that the applications were secured and everything on it was transparent. Nowadays, applications are not that safe and reliable. Knowing that some of them were being used to gather information from your device.

Yes, this is true. That is the reason why we should only download apps from the well-known sources. Some applications on the net were being modified by hackers to encrypt codes that will penetrate your system's device and make it open for all changes that the hacker wants to do. That way, it is easier for him to make changes to our device or gather all information from our device like bank accounts, passwords, and everything.
I remember xcodeghost issue wherein they substituted the codes downloaded and was able to get information from the apps which used their codes instead of the original xcode. I'm not sure if it's applicable to web apps and I think that would depend on the developers, they should be careful.

It would be difficult for the platform to also become a  hub for freelance game developers. I'm not sure if there is any other blockchain based platform which supports that. There is non so there would be no source of inspiration.

I'm interested on how they will be developing the suite since that's where the new apps are gonna be made. If it is really PWA, the apps can be made without using the suite since creating simple web apps can be done easily enough through online materials.
The suite should contain templates especially if it's going to be mainly games. Developers won't be encouraged in using the suite if it would just be the same as starting from scratch since they probably can do it on their own.
Everything about PWA is available on the web since web app developers are assisted by developer groups like google. They should design the suite better so that developers and those who want to try to create their own web apps would use it.
There should be a differentiation between using the suite, using xcodes stuff and using whatever you can use from the internet. If all things needed to create a web app is on the internet, the suite should have all of it.
The yappadappadoo suite would definitely be one of the main factors for this projects success since that is where the apps will come from. If they are able to make it better and easier to use, it would be patronized.
Yes, I agree. The Yappadappadoo Suite that they are going to offer should be uncomplicated and satisfactory to use so app developers won't go anywhere else. This way they will be patronized and may even be recommended to other app developers.
I just read that Apple will start rejecting apps which used templates. I'm not sure if it's a good thing but I think that would discourage those who want to try and create their own simple applications.
For an established app store like Apple, they don't need beginners or those who don't really think much about their app. If an app developer creates an app using templates, there's a possibility of being similar to other apps with the same template.

Streamlining the classifieds industry with the use of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. If they can really achieve worldwide sales, this will be one of the biggest brands in both classifieds and cryptocurrency industry.
Their tagline says they are the "First Worldwide Classifieds Marketplace Using Blockchain" and I believe they intend to really make it work worldwide. It will not be a short and simple process though.
It definitely will take a long time since based on their whitepaper, they will start expanding partnerships after being established in their home base. Then expansion would be starting with nearby countries.
It's better to do it slowly but surely, though the surely part will have to be maintained as status quo. At least we know that they have a realistic plan and they will be doing it in the most efficient way.
It's good to know that they are not rushing this project and that they currently have a solid foundation in their country, and they will be establishing partnerships on nearby countries first thereby expanding their reach.

I like the idea of having a cryptocurrency wallet that can store almost all kinds of coins. And the amazing feature also is that we can convert our token into cash instantly. We don't need to transfer it in exchange and sell it for Bitcoin then convert into cash.

That is right. Imagine the convenience it will bring to the whole crypto community which we can convert instantly our cryptocurrency into cash. In addition to this, the safest location of our token will be Cryptoriya platform. This is really a great project from CryptoRiya Team.
CryptoRiya, bringing convenience to crypto users to the whole world! hahaha, their main selling point is eally solving the inconvenience that all cryptocurrency users experince.
