i get a Failed to connect json_rpc_call
Are you trying to pool or solo mine?
502  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gridseed Help on: April 16, 2014, 06:47:06 PM
Don't download .dll files will only lead to problems down the road.
Did you delete the file by accident?
Try checking your recycle bin, windows 7 as well?

504  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: April 16, 2014, 04:52:22 PM
Been long time since I peeked here. All I can say is insane from graphics cards to those things with pics above. I wouldn't even know where to start with bitcoin mining any more. Ima try to get back into litecoin mining soon though as long as its easy hook up graphics cards..

Graphics cards will be history with Litecoin mining as well.

Yeah thats why i mine bitcoin with mine its really profitable at the moment

You mean the other way round?

I think he is trolling
Hes not.
ScryptGuild gives me anywhere from 0.1-0.2 with a 3MH
It's the only other option besides renting out the rigs to make some decent roi.

he said he is still mining Bitcoin with his GPUs
Ah misread, but still I see myself mining for BTC instead of the coins that are sold off auto @ scryptguild
So in turn im still using gpus to get BTC

Thanks for the new pool! Looks great, although I do not mine CasinoCoin anymore might be there one day as HASH.SO is shutting down.
If we could keep discussion to a dedicated thread or @ pool discussion that'd be great!

No ideas about litebit they said it would be on there but also emailed me and said they are very busy it may be some time.
Will try to get clarification
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CSC] CasinoCoin - The Premiere Coin for Casino Gaming | Kimoto Enabled! on: April 16, 2014, 07:17:11 AM
If you check his stats he's only on for a few minutes to maybe check pms etc
Can get this by looking at total time online vs posts and then look at an active member and cross check
Thinking he is busy with work.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL][MULTI] Hash.so multicoin pool with easy coin switching, 40 coins! on: April 15, 2014, 07:15:22 PM
To anyone thinking this pool(s) a scam, has not been around long enough to realize they jumped from 1-5 coins to over 30 within two months time.
The admin did an amazing job when there was a few coins with large hashing power for each. I can understand how busy things may have gotten and with the recent down swing in prices it may not be worth it to keep up a server with that much dedicated power, and time. There is now an ANN on top of the pages at hash.so
I have been paid out over 2.5m Doge, 40 LTC, and 1.5m CSC from hash.so alone over the course of the last few months.
When i started noticing less communication and support I switched pools. You should have done the same. Atleast you didnt get goxxed.

Casinocoin Bootstrap.dat

   bootstrap.dat

bootstrap.dat allows a new Casinocoin client (not synced) to rapidly import the initial blocks from a
local file instead of slowly downloading blocks from random peers. This significantly reduces the
time it takes to get a client synced with the current blockchain.

Casinocoin Donation Address: CPGZv7Wj3WRwgd2HFKnXSLJWQdSCJrrwLt

This is great! Thankyou so much i'm going to add this to my files.
If transcoder has some updates soon we could just implement this into the GIT so everyone automatically has it!
Would require a wallet update.

As well I couldn't make it to the bitcoinexpo in toronto over the weekend, but heard it was great! Money is a little tight and didn't realize it was $300 for the weekend entrance and that does not include food, hotel, or beverages.

casinocoincity hasn't seen players in a few days and neither has cccitypoker so lets do a promotion!
The first 10 person(s) to PM me with there cccitypoker username will get 50 free CSC x3
50 for your account and 50 for another 2 friends. This gives them the chance to play with you!
I must be online, you can tell by refreshing my profile page here for the chips to be deposited right away.
Any use of duplicate IPS is not aloud.

As well this weekend cccitypoker is having a 10000CSC free entry tournament. It will be Saturday starting at 3pm EST the minimum players is 30 I understand this is quite a bit for the websites reputation but we NEED players and I hope this entices you to get a few friends together for Saturdays game.  Don't forget your account has an affiliate link on your profile page!!!

Ive got several hex2A miners that will run constantly for approx 12 hours and then either 1 or two will stop hashing while the other continues.
This is fixed by pressing stop and then switching the usb port for each miner and restarting.

Been doing this for over a month now, but am heading on vacation in a few weeks. Going to have my sister stay at my place is there any way to avoid the shut off of the other miners so shes not switching up cords and touching things!

Thanks

What have you got them running on? RPI, Windows pc, mr3020?
Time for cgminer upgrade dude Wink

So you charge $198 for the gridseed I wont revel the actual price.
300 khs + 8ghs
or
11.25

11gh stick is $192

Why would anyone choose the usb stick over the gridseed?

Just read how much power Gridseed is drwawing in btc or dual mode and you will have your answer.  Wink
I don't pay for electricity, maybe should have added that.. Wink.

516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is MINING actually WORTH it now? on: April 12, 2014, 04:29:54 AM
The OP's post really baffles me. Is it worth it now? That a question implying it's only worth it if the value TODAY can be exchanged for more USD than the initial investment. Are we that short sighted?

A little scenario - lets say it dips to $200 tomorrow and you've invested 10s of thousands of dollars into mining hardware so you decide it isn't worth it because the electricity is actually costing you more than you're getting in return... so you pour gasoline and light a match on all your gear. Two months later, had you continued to mine you may have mined 50 additional bitcoins continually spending more money on electricity. Then the price spikes to $1500... was it worth it?
indeed it was worth it(to keep mining).
517  Other / Meta / Re: How can we (Bitcointalk) improve this forum ??? (This is 2 help further BTCoin) on: April 12, 2014, 03:41:13 AM
Remove the altcoin section ALL OF IT. Everyone should be able to host their own forum.
More multilingual content(hire translators for BTC) Im sure alot of the younger multilingual generation would jump on this its hard to earn money right now everywhere if you are young and in school.

Alts are way too important to try to ban, that would be a really bad move.
Besides, it is a fact that many/most alts have a more balanced early distribution than BTC.
I do agree..My name and myself support an alt but this is BITCOINtalk, iv'e suggested moving everything to a sub domain and having the old threads redirected but no response.
518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is MINING actually WORTH it now? on: April 12, 2014, 03:37:29 AM
if it isn't profitable, people wouldn't be mining
If you enjoy computers and take it as a hobby then start mining.
If you have quite a bit of cash and can start a big rig from the start then do it you'll make profit longer you wait less you'll make.
