621  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Antminer S2 $3599 / S1 u$s 630 - Bitmain Distributor for USA - 112bit.com on: March 19, 2014, 05:11:39 PM
Ok, so i have pm'd you multiple times as well e-mailed.
All I want to do is purchase some S1's with Escrow(paypal)..

Is it really that hard to give me an answer on how I would go about this.
You say to make a purchase at 112bit.com well there's no escrow option.
Asked if you initiate the escrow or myself and no answer. Understand your busy with the new S2 orders etc, but I am still a paying customer or at least trying to be.

Would have liked to get them purchased at the start of the week.
Cheers.
622  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinWisdom.com - Live Bitcoin/LiteCoin Charts on: March 19, 2014, 03:25:18 AM
I absolutely love this website, it is hands down the best crypto-charting site. The only thing that disappoints me is the lack of cryptsy altcoins.

More specifically, it would be HUGELY appreciated if you would please add Cryptsy CSC/BTC.  Grin

Thanks for all the hard work! Hope all is well!
+1 we have taken massive hits lately.
Please pm me your csc address for details on a csc bounty for addition.

Oh right, thanks for bringing that up.

This was my first time using Dreamweaver & CSS, so I was planning on finding a way to set a "new page" CSS setting on the HTML links (if that's possible), but I couldn't figure it out how to do it, and then I forgot about it.

I'll get right on that. Thanks for the feedback. It's helpful.

Website Down?

Looks like the frontend is down. Stratum appears to be up.

Your right! Miners are still going and getting accepted.

626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Halifax Bank UK - Account Closed on: March 17, 2014, 05:49:29 PM
Did you CALL the bank?

That letter is written so poorly, it HAS to be fake.

If it's real, leave that bank anyway.

Sorry, I see you DID call.  That bank's letter looks like it was written by a 5 year old... surely you have other banks where you live?
I agree.. Letter seems very poorly written for a bank. You should mention that to your local branch.
Do not live in the UK, but do live in Canada.. Personally would contact a financial advisor or lawyer for some questions. They gave no reason for your account being terminated or not "doing business" with you.

What did the girls think?  Hopefully they are smart enough to realize that of all the guys in high school  you are the one that is "most likely to succeed."  Wink

632  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: East coast bitcoiners, please guage this project for me. on: March 16, 2014, 05:56:47 PM
So a while ago, I brought http://bitcoineastcoast.com, so what should I do with it. I need ideas.

I was thinking to either put some type of forum software on it.

or

To put a wiki software on it.

But give me some ideas?
Great name for a wiki or meetup.
Could create a little info section with some text/videos and then provide other info or details about meetups and those sorts.
633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who the hell is Max Keiser? on: March 16, 2014, 05:55:12 PM
Who the hell is Max Keiser? Never heard of him before visiting this forums.

FYI: I'm not gonna bother to google him because he's not important, but who is he to the Bitcoin community?
He has quite a bit of BTC, and made a killing creating his own shit coin "maxcoin" then pumping it to his likes.
Summed up - Douche

Is it an American business? I was thinking it only had a subsidiary in US...
Posted from Bitcointa.lk - #Va8QZEqEj0YaLoan
It is registered in Japan, but they did do quite a bit of US transactions so I'm thinking they registered in the US as well?

It's all a bit technical now for the avarage user to get hold of casinocoin.

We can see on cccitypoker.com, which is a very nice website, that to get hold of CSC you need to go to an external exchange AND you need Bitcoins to get them, so you need to first go to a fiat to BTC and then to cryptsy for BTC to CSC then cryptsy to cccitypoker.com.

This is ridiculious. Do you really expect the avarage users to bother reading up how to do this, and besides, it sounds like a scam when it's so hard to deposit your money.

It should take fiat directly (via credit/debit card), then automatically exchange fiat to CSC to use as 'play money' and then when they want to cash out they can be given the option of withdrawing CSC to their private offline/locally stored wallet, or they can cash out in fiat (with an automatic conversion done for them, just like the deposit). They should then be made aware if they do send to locally stored wallet that they can send them coins to any other casino that takes casino coin which saves them entering their card details on multiple casino websites, and/or they can sell them coins for fiat directly on an exchange if, say their favourite casino is offline or goes out of business (to ease their mind and offer security).

I would have thought this would be common sense. It's a shame that whoever made this website did a lot for looks and gaming functionality, yet made it so damn near impossible for the average user to actually use it and spend their money at their casino.

If we want to make it big we HAVE to start including the non-technical minded people which is 99.9% of the population. The PC did it. Smartphones did it. Why can't we?

Anyway, this project still excites me due to its potential and benefits to not actually technically gambling with 'real (fiat) money'. If done correctly this could be a great coin to watch.
I will respond more thoroughly later when I'm not on mobile, but really.. Don't you think we would have thought all of these things over. The whole point of casinocoin is to eliminate the need to use a credit card/third party to deposit money.
Using any form of credit card/fiat processing would also require multiple licenses(tens of thousands of dollars). I understand exactly how difficult and hard it is for someone to get csc at the moment. We are working on a method to deposit ltc or btc to the website and you recieve chips and can only cashout in csc but first will need a massive amount to back the wallet.

edit: Although i do agree.. It was a bit of a bad move on my part to release this when there is 1 no way to purchase csc directly, and two no payment system open to other casino operators. There is simply not enough resources on my end to make either of those two happen beyond allowing ltc/btc - CSC at the poker website with the option to cashout in CSC.
