Hi, just a warning to be on the lookout for either:

Kialara Moon bar set #87 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3760675.0

1 2013 Casascius Gilt/Silver - First bits: 1Ag4iRiK : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3319870.0

Note to others using FedEx for shipping international. USE A LOT OF TAPE. LIKE TAPE THE WHOLE THING UP COMPLETELY.

In my case, it now appears the box either got broken open on one corner on a conveyer belt or truck, so may just be lying on the floor in some warehouse in Memphis TN. The tracking shows end-to-end FedEx.

Thank you to all who have reached out to help etc.

Cheers
Owl

Hello everyone

Please note that coins listed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415734.0

Coin#121 is missing.

121 silver was sent like the usual. But this Package was opened at customs.

We had sent even more coins to other people e.g. 10 coins in one package, etc.
but never before coins were stolen.

We will keep this post updated with more info.

Please check if someone tries to sell you coin #121. It looks like the Silver coin in the poster  above.

Thank you
Team Rc

Unfortunately more news to come soon..

That sounds a bit ominous.  We'll all have to wait and see what this news is.  I'm guessing someone purchased a fake or there's a new set of fakes in town that are a bit hard to distinguish from the real ones?  I'll admit I'm curious.  I'd hate to think that all Casascius holders will have to peel their coins if in the future it is too much of a risk to purchase one.  Maybe that will make my old collection a little more coveted.  Smiley  Wishful thinking on my part.

Waiting and watching...

Provenance will play a big part moving forward for sure.

Indeed it will be. The only cas I got directly from Mike was a silver gilt...which will NEVER leave my dungeon  Wink

And definitely DO NOT USE www.bitcoinpaperwallet.com

https://www.coindesk.com/tech/2021/02/24/bitcoinpaperwallet-back-door-responsible-for-millions-in-missing-funds-research-suggests/?outputType=amp

It was great when Canton owned it...but he sodl it years ago and it looks like people lost BTC under the new owners

I used the program years ago when I bought from Canton the CD to run on my airgapped computer and my BTC was never compromised.

This BIP38 digital stamp has been online since 2017 and the 0.02 BTC has never been compromised or swept...so the code I bought was genuine back then

 Time for a bump.

I use a Mycelium Entropy device for all of my items.
  https://mycelium.com/mycelium-entropy.html

I also buy them as part of my Bitcoin history collectable items

If you cannot find one....and they are impossible to find...do the following...

Use a Trezor. Reset the device....get a new seed created and use that to place under the Holo and use the corresponding public address for the loading part.

You can then reset and do as many times as needed to get as many new addresses as you want made.

And it goes without saying...use the following as well .

   Air gapped computer
   Air gapped printer
   Water proof paper
   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5296179.0

I also recommend if you use any other device instead of just a qr code for priv key also print a second one with the alphanumeric key as well. Just my two Satoshi...that's what i always do anyway.

  Hope that helps.

It kinda makes me wanna dig and find mine somewhere in God only knows what box it might be. But yeah you will need to look thru the highway and byways of the Bitcoin field to get these....it will be an adventurous journey for sure but will be well worth it if you manage to get em all Cheesy

This one has been through the ringer miner! I think it adds character.  Grin Will be fun to see what it fetches.

I’m not so sure. I have two of these (one series 1, and one series 2). They both look like this in certain lighting. They must be made with a relatively soft material, as every peeled one I’ve seen looks like this condition-wise.

Many were made that came out with knicks from the coin mint...but I kept looking and came across perfect ones that I kept for my collection.

One of my fav coins in my collection.

I am lucky to own all three different variations.

Is this one series one or two MJ?

No doubt!
Send us some pics 😍

Edit: btw do you think any left loaded?

Ha! I wish they were mate.

I have a series 1 Holo and series 2 Holo

And a plain one that was sodl without a holo.

Would love to send pics but they are buried somewhere and God only knows in what hole they are. Maybe someday when I retire I will look for em but until then they shall remain as is.
