what about spots, doge, netcoin?
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 28, 2013, 09:28:51 AM
I'm only asking this to make sure it's not part of the breach.  I was a bit interested in the Amazon.com approach to hash rate on the banner.  Even if the site said I wasn't logged in it would still show my hash rate.  I always found that interesting... though not technically a problem (if they understood the possible season implications which persist to this day).

Regardless its an issue that should be sorted. Not sure how they manage sessions but its sloppy.

I lost .22 BTC but due to the dogecoin rush I will hopefully earn about .1 back from the last 7 days. The SQL injection is pretty ridiculous though. Such a vulnerability is an amateur one, I mean for christ stake use a web framework that will sanitize qureries for you.

Question for the devs:

Are you guys aware that you have had session issues this entire time? Just wondering. I get logged out but still see a live hash rate.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pool][Profit-Switch][Optional Auto-Exchange per Coin][Vardiff] ~ Hashcows on: December 26, 2013, 11:52:21 AM
Am I the only one that wants to login and see if I have any coins left, but gets:

Account match found.

Followed by:

Database Failure - Unable to change password

It seems that the new random password gets sent to my email, but it doesn't change it in the database, therefore I cant use my old password and I cant set the new password to login and see if any coins are left.

Wondering if I should continue mining, not knowing what is happening in my account as far as earnings :/

Do you guys even read?

would be nice if Bitcoin had a feature to stop coin theft like this...
Either way, this can be tracked and found... Bitcoin is NOT like Fiat cash... IT IS Traceable.

I would give 25% of my loss as a reward to catching the crook.
With 40-400 BTC at stake, 10-100 BTC as a reward for bringing the guy to justice would be a nice reward...
Anyone else care to chip into the reward system and get people investigating to catch the MoFu?
time to make a bitcoin assassination fund on the hit market!

Never... This is not what I asked for... I asked for getting this guy and bringing him to Justice.  Not to assassinate him.
I would love to see the guy ROT in jail and let the "shower" guys take good care of him.
it was a joke

I am not sure if this has been answered or not (if so, please forgive me).  Has the login been disabled too?  I can not log in to check my account.

Thanks

Can't even login to the site now. I should have known I shouldn't trust programmers that use PHP

914  Bitcoin / Mining / What does vardiff really mean? on: December 23, 2013, 07:37:51 AM
If I mine 1 share at difficulty 16 is it the same as someone else mining 16 shares at difficulty 1? What is the real value of difficulty in regards to work?

Any chance for auto-trade to litecoin?  Seems more logical for scrypt mining.

Eventually down the road but there are a bunch of other things we need to fix/implement before that.

I'm new to this switching idea. Anyways, did hashcows.com just waste and entire hour on ANC after the last round was nothing but immature blocks? If the round didn't make a single block, that coin should automatically be put on a black list for 24 hours. Or am i missing something?

No Immature blocks are blocks that have not matured yet, you are thinking of Rejected/Orphan Blocks that do not count. These do count they just take forever to mature. (ANC has a long mature time)

Thanks for the explanation, I have been wondering about this myself. What is the average mature time?
