13823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs. Paypal - and PayPal is getting sued. on: January 07, 2014, 03:28:53 PM
1) have you a professionnal account at paypal (need when you "echange" more than xxxx USD per month).
2) have you a VAT number ?
3) have you a real account bank linked (and certified) to the paypal account ?

if you don't have this ... well ... the restrictions (froozen funds) on paypal is the legitimates rules for "personal account".

13825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I pay my US based bronze foundry without them having a bitpay account? on: January 06, 2014, 10:47:27 AM
No, I want them to receive dollars into their bank without even necessarily knowing that I sent it in bitcoins.

you must "clean" the transaction with plateform based like virwox to do this ... so, the bank don't known that you use bitcoin (virwox use paypal to resend to bank account).

but, many many fee...  Roll Eyes

That is not the world we live in.  Journalists aren't interested in such matters - and those matters are just too hard for journalists and their readers to understand.

It's true ... when i start to talk about bitcoin, i prefer to talk about the transfer method (smartphone/bitcoin-QR) ... and not the price.
Bitcoin is the first system to pay with QR-Code certified by more than 1 millions of PC around the world.  Cheesy even in "blocus" part of the world   Grin
13829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever be manipulated like Wall Street is? on: January 05, 2014, 11:20:28 PM
It's far easier to break a promise than it is to break cryptography.

OK, right ... if you use SEPA and "long and poor delay" to wire money.
That why i use the "more" fast method of virwox ... but restricted by fee and amount of money.
13830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could BTC ever be manipulated like Wall Street is? on: January 05, 2014, 10:55:51 PM
they trade database entries that represent bitcoins (and USD).

Grin well ... when i have 5 BTC in my wallet on my bitcoin-QT sofware ... it's not a database.

it's the real life.

bitcoin will survive again "massive selling" ... because people don't do this.
the industrial computing of traders do this.

13831  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bicoin biggest scam in the early history !!! on: January 05, 2014, 04:45:31 PM

13832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tax deductions for things paid with Bitcoin on: January 02, 2014, 07:01:41 PM
your friend is a pro.
pro must sell service with tax (VAT).

if you receive/emit BTC or cash or CreditCard or Paypal ... you have a balance at the end of the year.
BTC is only a method of payment.

that's why germany accept this currently because, the tax always are always applied by the pro to sell/buy material or service.

13836  Bitcoin / Mining / Question about this all power ... what bitcoin do if the power fluctuate ? on: January 01, 2014, 11:19:57 PM
 Smiley Hello all,

I have a question : if the power of all miners (people) decrease (instead of increase for now) ... what the bitcoin network do for this ?
Can it decrease the difficult ?
Or difficult is calculate with the number of BTC generate by miner (but increase with the amount and not decrease).

Thanks  Wink
13837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How many addresses can Bitcoin-qt hold? on: January 01, 2014, 11:42:18 AM
in my way, it's more simple to destroy wallet.dat after send the amount of the bitcoin-QT to smartphone ... recreate a empty wallet.dat (on bitcoin-QT) and resend the amount from the smartphone.

from the point of the network, it clean the "taint" history presented by the blochcahin API...

example here : http://blockchain.info/fr/taint/13yuxe4E7DGazMoM7RX1Zvy9EmQEvnz5eA

1,8% validated ... it's a non-sense transaction (no clean at all made by robot).
you have 100% validate if you wait 6 confirmations (less than 1 hours now with 0.8.6 bticoin client)
13838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA and Mastercard vs. Bitcoin on: January 01, 2014, 11:21:00 AM
BTC cannot and will not compete as a payment processor.

... when i have buy my butterflylab box (in butterflylab invoice form main site), i have send in BTC, the sum ... in a complete and automated process (you have 15min to validate the correct BTC transaction from your source of BTC).

BTC is a valuable payment if the rules are respected (API to read/confirm deposit like all credit card process).

13840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transfered files from usb but coins are not showing up. PLEASE HELP. on: January 01, 2014, 12:06:52 AM
only paste "wallet.dat" in the "blockchain" folder in bitcoin-QT ... and it's all.
I do this every week to wipout the history (with transfer to my phone then to the new wallet to secure).
