I am talking about situations like when someone has lost a huge sum of hard earned money(probably life savings or something in those lines) to hackers because one did not follow obvious instructions to secure his wallet/funds and comes in here with the expereience and probably asks for help on how he can recover the money.
We all understand that it is almost impossible to return the money that was stored in the cryptocurrency and was stolen by the hackers. I do not think that forum users should fulfill the duties of the service of psychological assistance, but they can well teach security when working with cryptocurrencies. |

I also think that any forum should contribute to the development of friendly relations and help each other. I would be happy to help someone with my ability to work in graphics, but only if it really brings benefit to people.

I see only sense in increasing the amount of merit obtained for the following ranks:
Newbie: 1-5
Jr Member: 8
Member: 25
And I see the point of adding only one highest rank, for example, with merits of more than 2500. |

It's a good idea, already on my to-do list, but it requires other changes as well. If the person who made the rating can delete it as they can today, then they can also delete the response, which isn't good. My current tentative thinking on how it should work is:
- Raters can retract ratings, but not totally delete them.
- Raters can add a short addendum to their ratings, and this can be freely edited, but the original rating can't be edited. (The point is to prevent conversations via rating edits. A rating should be one particular issue, and the response should be a response to this issue. Not 100% sure that this is necessary, though.)
- Additional limits on how often you can leave ratings may be needed.
You can also add archiving of all changes in the feedback and the response to it so that each user can look at these changes and make their own decision in relation to the controversial situation. |

I think that for each such account a different ip address is used and there is no point in blacklisting these addresses, I think that new accounts will be spammed from new ip addresses. Is it possible to completely ban the use of bots on the forum?

I also do not see any additional protection in such actions. I think that frequent password changes only cause inconvenience to users. It is better to have a strong password and of course different for each website. |

Hello!
Today there was a problem with using an animated avatars (not a .GIF). A new avatar in .PNG format is correctly displayed in the avatar update window, but the avatar remains the same. Has anyone else encountered this problem yesterday, today? A few days ago there was no such problem. Can someone check it out? (for the test, you can use any animated avatar that is already used by someone)

Позже, когда я получаю достаточное количество мерита, я могу разослать весь свой смерит сразу нескольким пользователям. Стараюсь не держать мерит на руках, так как система заслуг создана не для накопления мерита. Многие участники форума, видя, что пользователь полезен для форума могут запросто поспособствовать ему в поднятии ранга, отправив нехватающее количество мерита. Лично я не вижу ничего плохого в этом. |

То что BTC держится выше $4000 это очень хорошо. Думаю, что мы увидим небольшую коррекцию до $3800 - $3900 на днях. Сделал кепку для пользователя Goran_ которая посвящена взятию рынка под свой контроль быками. Если понравится буду рад. Если бы форум нуждался в донатах, theymos уже кинул бы клич. На счету форума почти миллион долларов.  вспомнил сразу про вопрос: - Могут ли злоумышленники подкупить персонал форума в целях добычи IP-адресов конкретных пользователей форума bitcointalk.org?
