How are you cooling these cards? I don't seem to see a cooling fan on the heatsink. 

What money? Overstock hasn't paid a dime so far (unless they OTC/bought off exchange.) Some programmers are salaried by Overstock via Medici, but there was no, "Hey, I'll pay you lots of money for the coin."

The coin was all mined. The devs didn't pre-mine this to sell to anyone. There was no ICO.

A lot will be determined by the price/performance of the 11-series cards too.  For all we know, the 1080ti may remain the king of GPU miners even after the new 11-series come out.  Rumors have it that the 11-series cards will cost vastly more than the 10-series but how will the performance gain stack up? 

If they plan to price gouge then maybe they will see a retaliation by gamers and miners whereby they realize that overpriced new units aren't worth it... Of course by that point we would obviously see price drops and likely see subsidies paid back out to vendors to cover the loss. 

Think about it.  They aren't paying their engineers much more...even though they all likely got really sweet bonuses after the recent earnings.  And the cost of materials hasn't really changed.  They are just capitalizing on hype which could result in them losing business if they are not careful.

It'll take probably half a year to recoup the amount of AKA for a masternode right now. Output is around 20-30 AKA per day. If you come in, it will reduce further.

Hi Everyone, As you know Dinero is in the process of implementing a decentralised Governance and Budgeting system. This is a very exciting system that will allow masternode operators to vote on important decisions about the future of Dinero in addition to providing a means for Dinero to both fund its own development, and fund our charitable work.

The way this will work is that 10% of the block reward will be reserved for these purposes. Every time a block is mined, 45% of the reward will go to the miner, 45% will go to a masternode, and the remaining 10% will not be created until the end of the month.

During the month anyone can create a budget proposal and masternode owners can vote to accept or reject this proposal.

If projects are not funded the extra 10% of blocks will simply never be created - to avoid any unnecessary inflation.

This system will be going live at Block 162,000.  In an earlier plan I had intended putting the budget system live at block 81,000.

Due to oversight on my part I moved the start of the governance system (from block 81,000 to block 162,000)  but not the reduction of the block reward to facilitate the governance and budget system. This has now led to the triggering of the reward reduction 3 months in advance of where it needs to be, but seeing as the governance system is not yet enabled these coins will not be created.

I would like to apologize for any confusion or difficulty this has caused. The budget and governance system will be launched on target at block 162,000 without any further block reward adjustments.

Thanks for your input. But 2 coins a day is really sucks as it is just about 60 cents a day even with “all time high”  price range. Probably it’s better to buy them from market directly than to mine with expensive hardware haha.
