121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx580 still a better option? on: June 11, 2021, 06:32:38 PM
You are good go if you can find cheap gpus. if i were you i will wait little bit for prices go to normal. You have limited power so it will be good choice get low TDP gpus like 3060-3070.
Well it's a kind of gamble at this point. Nobody knows when the price will go to normal (if that ever happens). Some people predict that 2022 is probably when the market will get better. At that time, crypto market might changes a lot, either being more profitable or more bearish. So that's that.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HDD Mining - How to become a Crypto Billionaire in 2021 on: June 11, 2021, 05:49:52 PM
Your imagination is really good. Maybe you can start writing a novel about crypto mining dude. If you can do it, maybe you can build a coin for yourself and make your own version of this billionaire tool.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I want to be a bounty manager? on: June 11, 2021, 05:37:29 PM
Most managers that I know of started with building their reputation. You can do it in several ways. For example, be a good poster and have enough influence on some sub-boards, participate in one of the best sig/bounty campaign that require high quality post, participate in trading/exchange activities with other users that require trust (but don't farm for this), etc. Connections are also important. Sometimes you don't have to do anything but a dev asked you to help them with their advertisement on BTC.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin cold wallets on: June 10, 2021, 07:52:21 PM
As an alternative to a modified hardware wallet using offline device, you can use a live OS such as Linux and run your wallet from there. There's a lot of interesting stuff such as persistent drive, etc which should help with the security. Obviously you need to spend more effort by storing your device on a secure place, etc. It's a cheap solution if you can't buy a HW. Don't expect the security to be the same though.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any suggestion for The Best Graphics Cards For Mining.   on: June 10, 2021, 06:28:52 PM
Last summer I was buying rtx-3070 rigs at $250/card ( prices paid here in Asia ), now they're $2k card on amazon, whats a mother to do? Just keep mining and enjoy the show.
Wow, what a fucking nice deal. You sure it's not a fake RTX-3070? Even 1660 TI is hard to buy at that price, not to mention 3070 which has at least 3x its price at MSRP. Which country are you living in right now? Must be nice to get such a nice discount from Nvidia.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to Mine Monero Coin – Monero Mining Pools 2021 on: June 10, 2021, 06:15:21 PM
Even if ETH really stop using PoW, there is a chance that other network will get stronger instead. That would increase their resistance to 51% attack and stop disastrous event from happening over and over again. So, there's no need to be overly pessimistic. Just don't take too much risk.

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What Is The Best Tether Wallet (USDT) | I Need Web Base | Low Transaction Fee on: June 08, 2021, 04:35:13 PM
Is there any reason why you need a web based wallet? Do you need it to interact with a dapp? If that's the case, maybe check out what kind of wallet that dapp supports first. If TrustWallet is supported, I also think that using it should be good enough. Just don't store a lot of money there, it's not for long term storage.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a tool for enlightenment on: June 06, 2021, 02:35:59 PM
Selling at loss to find another opportunity to enter the next trend is not that bad tbh. Especially if your capital is limited. So don't be too strict, you should be flexible and find the best strategy according to your own condition.

Before you start investing more, I suggest you to get more familiar with how crypto market works. Don't be a follower, find your own style to make money.
130  Other / Archival / Re: Are there risks with GPU mining? 144% roi on: June 05, 2021, 03:28:09 PM
PSU can burst up and bring down GPUs with it? I've never seen this happened before and I've been mining for a very long term, maybe it's possible on Chinese OEM PSU I can't say but I use Corsair power supply
Are you sure Corsair is a good brand for PSU? I've seen a lot of threads on various forum about how their Corsair PSU died and killed various components including the GPU.

I appreciate your reply. But we already know that btc will never drop  Grin and if btc dropped, I'm not the only loser, every one will lose. So Are there any risks other than price dropping?
I appreciate your optimism, but you should be prepared for the bear market just like 2018 where almost everyone went batshit crazy for more than a year or so.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Laptop RTX 3070 ETH 64.55MH/S at @112W 0.57MH/W efficiency on: June 05, 2021, 03:01:00 PM
I am mining with laptop 3070 , hashrate around 64,.xxmhs, the Vram Hotspot temperature is avg on 83degree for 24hours non-stop; It is efficiency and current desktop 3070 is sky high, the laptop 3070 somehow is cheaper than single GPU 3070 itself!

I dont mind if the mining cause the laptop faulty as my intention is to mining, let see 3yrs warranty will cover it if really come to me !
Well that's a given since the mobile version is a downclocked version of the desktop card. That being said, are you sure you can earn the ROI before your laptop dies? Not sure about the warranty either, if the seller or manufacturer know you use it for mining, maybe it will be a bit difficult to claim. Well, good luck though. I've seen a lot of people doing this, including scalpers.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Hiring] Looking For LenDefi Ambassador on: June 05, 2021, 02:42:28 PM
You should post this on the service announcements or Services board (if you're willing to pay with BTC). In addition to that, being clear on what the ambassador need to do might also help with the recruitment. Asking the applicant might be a good idea but being clear on what you need might help with the initial filtering.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investable Coins on: June 04, 2021, 04:54:53 PM
Well, the rule is simple. If the price of an asset can grow over time, you can easily label it as an investment. Does that mean every asset should be in your portfolio? Of course not. As you said earlier, if a token is designed to be used as payment/utility on the platform, then the expected usage/the goal of the project is to make sure the network used it. Whether the price increase or not would be a different question.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Help Children Go to School by Collecting Super Rare Limited Edition NFT badges! on: June 04, 2021, 03:06:47 PM
So what kind of power you have here that allows you to help those children? Please stop scamming people with this NFT/ICO etc trend. Judging from your project name, you're based in Indonesia or Malay. There are dozens of government/NGO project out there that target education. People can just donate or volunteer on those programs instead of buying collectibles. If fund is the issue, donating directly would be a good idea.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can I get trade signal to make more profit? on: June 04, 2021, 02:43:15 PM
As far as i know, there is some signal group like BCW that was giving a regular signal to its members. I have also joined as a premium member on BCW. It's getting sold out instantly.
So does this premium group worth it? How much did you pay for a month/year? Is this private group or you can share the link to join it?

As far as I can remember, these premium group are not long lived. Most members exit and usually find "early investment" or "gem search" group more interesting to join for the long term.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Defishit finance of uniswap on: June 04, 2021, 02:31:15 PM
$5 is a very cheap transaction dude. When you could see a few months ago and you will have needed more than $150 for a single swap on uniswap.
I think that's relative. If you compare it with other market like Pancake, then $5 for a swap is really expensive. Let's face it, ETH is not cheap to use, until v2 comes or when more rollups happens, don't place too much hope for ETH to go cheaper.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is AME (allocation mining event) in Launchpool? on: June 03, 2021, 01:32:51 PM
AFAIK it has nothing to do with mining. It is more or less a slot lottery so investor can get the allocated slots to buy the token. For example, a project needs to raise $100k, and each investor can contribute $1k at most. That means there will be 100 slot. That's where ame or whatever it is called comes into play.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: passive income. on: June 03, 2021, 01:15:52 PM
Seriously? Can you please tell me where you can get used RTX GPUs because I don't see one available on any online stores, I bet they aren't available anymore because the demands on GPU is pretty high still, some are even buying Laptops to mine right now
It depends on where you live tbh. In my area, you can find one for nearly 3x of MSRP, so buying right now is still risky. I'd rather wait next year even if the market is not that good anymore, at least I don't spent 3x times more to get a card worth $1k.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WALLETS EXPLANATIONS on: June 03, 2021, 01:12:30 PM
Just add the smart chain network on your Metamask and you'll be fine. Another option would be to import your Metamask private key on BSC wallet, but the risk is great since you're exposing your private key. Better do it offline when you do this.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Bullish back? ICO/IDO/ITO are still fire, hard to choose? on: June 03, 2021, 12:53:50 PM
Lots of people still believe that we're in a bull market, so it's not really back, last time is just a pullback. I won't count on those launchpad tbh, it's way too hard to participate and the one who profits the most is the VC, angel investor, etc. Retail are just gambling away with their money. I'd rather participate in liquidity farming when the market stabilize to get passive income.
