441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A rise on Bitcoin addresses that holds 1k BTC or more is a bullish sign! on: October 15, 2019, 01:42:48 PM
Am I crazy or just glancing at this chart gives zero indications that the two are related? I don't see paired spikes or anything that shoes upcoming spikes or dips.

There are no direct relations. Having more people save 1k of coins is not the same as having 1k people pumping the coin every day, but some people think it's a sign that a lot of people are now considering to hold a lot of bitcoin. Which means, more people consider it as a valuable thing.

Yeah, seems it was protest against football federation:
http://www.ultras-tifo.net/photo-news/6037-bulgaria-england-14-10-2019.html
But I hope these "fans" will be identified and will get lifetime ban to visit stadium - it's probably best method to fight against racism.

They should be identified and then banned from every match and their picture must be posted on every available media to show that he's a racist. That's probably the only way to stop people from doing stupid things and hurt others in a football pitch.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 15, 2019, 01:03:24 PM
Had he been a bit smarter it would have been much better for him.
Can was not included in the CL squad because Giorgio Chiellini was seriously injured and will miss most of the season. Another defender needed to take his place and Rugani did that pushing Can out of the list. UEFA also states that a number of domestic and homegrown players need to be part of the CL squad. Chiellini being an Italian was one of them, because of his injury another Italian was needed to take his place - Rugani. That is why Can was sacrificed.

Yeah, it's a shame. Players need to 'play' smart in and off the pitch. Especially because they don't have any influence on who would be on the pitch after they stated some controversial stories like this. Joining a new club might give him a better chance to play regularly now. Problem is, who would buy a player that easily backlash his club in front of the media.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 15, 2019, 12:10:15 PM
Frank Lampard already understands Chelsea players now, and Chelsea players have begun to understand the strategy given by Lampard. Their appearance was very different from their first match when they lost against Manchester United.

I wouldn't say Lampard understands his players perfectly, but it's better now. Football is an exciting sport because what happens off the pitch is not reported but affect the performance on the pitch. He still has a long way to go, but it's better than Solksjaer.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 15, 2019, 11:28:38 AM
Manchester United board will not allow such to happen,  if Ole performance in the next three matches is poor,  I won't be surprise if he got sacked,  currently Manchester United needs a strong attacking force and a more experience manager to take them back to top 4

They need to learn that sacking a manager won't bring the result they wanted. Sure, in the short-term, they might change, but as you can see from the previous three or four managers, after that, the performance is going to drop again. The problem is more complicated than that. They need to have somebody who can lead on and off the pitch, Solksjaer is probably not that one, but doesn't mean he needs to be sacked. Even if he got sacked, his replacement must have that leadership quality. The problem is, who?
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: October 15, 2019, 11:12:56 AM
With Real Madrid it seems that Florentino Perez is interfering with the technical aspects of the club too much instead on focusing on the financial and player acquisition. Zidane isn't getting the freedom that he truly needs to remake the club according to the way he wants it. But with Valverde it seems there is a problem with his relationship with the players since their are reports that the players have too much power at the club.

Regardless of what the reason is, both of them need to find a solution or else they'll sink further. I don't doubt they can win the league even if they're not perfect but to achieve something like City or Liverpool did last year, is almost impossible.

Getting 100 points or 90 points per season is not an easy task, and you can't achieve that if you lose five times or more per season.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 14, 2019, 06:37:56 AM
Regardless of how bad the situation around United is, the result of the match depends on what happens on the field. Even if you debate a hundred times about it, nothing can conclude who will win this time. It's a waste of time to do that.

Why don't we discuss how United should line-up against Liverpool, or how should Liverpool attack if United park the bus (which is highly likely to happen)? That is more interesting.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 14, 2019, 05:40:19 AM
Right now I don't see Alexis Sanchez contributing much to Inter.

He only play in two matches, how can you judge him so early? On top of that, he already score as many goal as he score when he's with United last season, one.

He's doing better with Inter imo, at least he'll have more fun there.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: October 14, 2019, 04:53:58 AM
Germany is still the best despite playing with 10 players Estonia cannot do anything because the German defense is too strong for them

They win in the end. 3-0, all goals scored after Can red card. Their overall game play is good too. More dominant with the ball even though they got 8 shots against them.

Looks like Netherlands and Germany will proceed to the next phase.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 14, 2019, 04:42:33 AM
but offline casinos that implement bitcoin as a payment method can have long term losses, you saw that until recently the price was $ 12000 and now the price is $ 8000, i wonder how offline casinos would do to avoid having big losses if they accepted bitcoin as a means of payment. A few years from now (maybe 10 years) when the market is very large and not manipulated and regulated, I believe offline casinos will be happy to add bitcoin as a means of payment.

I think it's easy for them to exchange the Bitcoin into fiat or stable coins when necessary. After all, there's nothing stopping them from doing that. You don't have to keep your Bitcoin forever, especially if it's volatile and can swing 20% in a day.

I believe most business also do that atm, can't blame them.
451  Economy / Exchanges / Re: SimpleSwap, instant cryptocurrency exchange with more than 175 coins. on: October 13, 2019, 10:50:29 AM
It seems like your question has been very clearly answered by the team from this long-standing project. I see this in 2018 and now 2019 is almost over.

It's clear that he's trying to increase his post count and not read anything. It's your usual sig spammer.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest any good & trusted LTC web wallet? on: October 13, 2019, 10:13:48 AM
LiteVault.net is probably one of them. Don't forget to check reviews, such as https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/6y9mlk/is_litevault_a_legit_online_wallet/.

There is also https://coinsbank.com/wallet.

I'm curious, why not use Electrum-LTC? I think it's easy enough and got the same flexibility as a web wallet.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the cheapest way to Exchange cryptocurency? on: October 13, 2019, 09:59:35 AM
Crypto to crypto trade won't be free from fees because you need them even in DEXes.

Your only option, regardless of crypto to crypto or fiat transaction, is a P2P transaction with your friends. You'd only need to pay tx fees (as long as you can convince him not to charge extra fees), which is way lower than most exchange taker fees.

455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin address reuse concerns apply only to spends/outputs? on: October 13, 2019, 09:02:53 AM
Reusing an address will become a main security issue if a machine capable of brute-forcing that address within hours is affordable for the public.

I believe you can choose which output you want to use. Read https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/30149/how-do-i-spend-bitcoins-from-a-specific-address for more details. This way, you can avoid spending from your dedicated receive only address. But that also means you have to make sure there's another output that you could use.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 12, 2019, 08:05:58 AM
Appreciate that !! Where do you guys manage your trade btw? Excel sheet?

What kind of management you're talking about here? Is it tracking loss and profit? Excel is probably the best, but it's not automatic. You can use some bot that supports similar features if you want automatic tracking. If not, and you're talking about placing stop-loss and target, I think most users stick to 20%-10% or 2x3 strategy and do it daily without making notes for every trade.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b exchange top 1? on: October 12, 2019, 07:00:25 AM
Another reason why you should not trust Coinmarketacp when it comes to exchange ranks. Their metrics are unreliable. I'd rather use Coingecko with their beta trust score instead of blindly trusting CMC.

I'm quite surprised that CMC still doesn't fix their depth and liquidity algorithm. Instead, they choose to believe exchanges will give them real data.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 12, 2019, 06:40:37 AM
They'll probably join again if the US starts to get friendly with Libra. If not, don't expect anyone to stay with Facebook for their ambitious project. They'll lose a huge consumer base if the US government ban their services too.
459  Other / Off-topic / Re: New Exchanges on: October 12, 2019, 06:25:39 AM
I don't know what your purpose of creating this thread is. You never care about the discussion in the past and suddenly start creating two new threads. What you're suggesting on your OP is obvious, and everyone would probably do that even if you don't mention it.

There is no need to open a new thread if, in the end, you run away and never respond (unless you create it for another purpose).
460  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Avocados: Correlated Assets? on: October 12, 2019, 06:13:42 AM
Cum hoc ergo propter hoc.

Good comedy though, and yet people are responding as if they're really serious and start writing a long post about it.
