341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: April 19, 2021, 07:56:35 PM
No, because a car is not a great investment. Its value will drop the second day. I'd invest into real estate but not in a billionaire's car just to make him even richer.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC's crisis time is coming on: April 19, 2021, 07:44:10 PM
I hope Dogecoin will reach $1 so I can cash out my last Dogecoins to Bitcoin and forget about this pump and dump scheme. People have to understand that all shitcoins are based on BTC and there is no way for any of them to take over. They will always remain a copycat.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has the world become greedier since BTC? on: April 19, 2021, 07:11:16 PM
Since BTC and crypto everyone wants to get rich and earn a lot of $. Everywhere you look it's the same story, be it BTC or any other shitcoin. It's obvious not everyone will make it.

Yeah, getting rich is nice and I also hope it will happen for myself but I feel the society is becoming way too materialistic. Also the greediness level seems very high, everyone want to get more and more.

What's your view on this?
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 20th April dogecoin day on: April 19, 2021, 06:48:26 PM
My views are Dogecoin has become a pump and dump coin highly manipulated by a billionaire's tweets. 67% of Dogecoin supply is owned by only 99 addresses.

I've been a huge Dogecoin fan and supporter between 2013 and 2016 and gave away tens of thousands of Doges, but I don't like what this coin has become now.

However I hope it will reach $1 so I can cash out into Bitcoin and round up by BTC reserve.
345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 19, 2021, 02:14:56 PM
Follow his statements and make crypto purchases on time.

I'm not a sheep thank you. I prefer to use my own judgement even if sometimes it can be wrong. At least I can make my own choices. This is what everyone should do, follow their intuition and not some millionaire or billionaire who doesn't care about your finances anyway.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 19, 2021, 12:58:36 PM
Doge coin pumped when Elon Musk tweets about doge coin. I cannot understand why doge coin is pumping.  Why you are pumping a shit coin to moon. There are many good projects in the market . Please give attention to these projects. These projects can give you good results.

This is not the first time Musk has done this, or even the second, or third time. Every time Musk mentions the cryptocurrency, a surge (often following an eventual downfall) occurs in the prices of the cryptocurrency.

Market manipulation should be avoided by all costs because it can make newbies lose money based on the influence of famous people.

Dangerous stuff if you ask me. Let the market flow naturally but don't write tweets giving "hints" when you're famous.
347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 19, 2021, 12:12:07 PM
Considering Mastercard will accept BTC later this year and the fact that many investors will join aboard, personally I believe it will reach $200K per coin before the end of the year. $100K will be reached before the end of July. These are my personal predictions and shouldn't be taken for granted Smiley
348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 19, 2021, 11:54:55 AM
He don't own any DOGE in his wallet and although he has tweeted about this coin, he hasn't recommended it to anyone or claimed that it is a good coin to invest in.
No one can confirm that Elon didn't buy DOGE before. Creating a DOGE wallet is very easy and we don't need KYC to be able to start storing and transacting with DOGE. Everyone has something that is not known to the public, they let it be a private secret and of course for personal gain, whether it's privacy or some other conspiracy, we don't know.
What we know right now is that Elon Musk's power is strong enough in the cryptocurrency space to manipulate the market for some cheap coins or coins of moderate volume. If we consider this a nuisance and think about it over and over, I think I'm running out of time to maximize opportunities in other cryptocurrencies

We are talking about someone who has a net worth of close to $200 billion. Given the poor liquidity of Dogecoin, it may take a long time for Elon to convert even 1% of his wealth to DOGE. On top of that, once the prices peak, it is not going to be easy to convert all that cryptocurrency back to fiat. He is a resident of the United States, and each and every cryptocurrency transaction needs to be reported in the income tax return. And after all this, if he purchases DOGE, then he can be tried for insider trading.

Elon Musk cannot be that stupid to promote this coin and not own something. What is interesting is how people are following him like sheep. Just because someone is a billionaire that doesn't make me follow him like crazy.

The funny part is I was promoting Dogecoin A LOT in 2013-1016 and gave away many coins myself but I didn't had the power of Musk's tweets to make it happen. Dreaming even of a price of 1 cent was a total madness.
349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 19, 2021, 11:33:34 AM
Sell all your Bitcoins now and take this thought off your chest. All good things in life take patience, you can't get rich over night. I'm HODLing since 2013 and haven't cashed out a satoshi. Is it hard? Yes. Impossible? No.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 101 addresses hold 67.7% of all Dogecoin. This is insane. on: April 19, 2021, 10:50:48 AM
It seems 2 addresses are gone already - now we have 99 addresses owning 67.23% - watch out guys because once it crashes it will crash hard!

Nevertheless I hope it will reach that dollar to sell all Dogecoin I have left into Bitcoin!  Grin
351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 09:14:31 PM
I was reading John McAffee story related to XVG promotion and what Musk is doing now with Dogecoin doesn't seem to be very different, any thoughts on this? Sounds like market manipulation to me in both cases.
352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 07:34:34 PM
Am I the only one who finds his tweets and market manipulation annoying?
Well, may be you're just one among the handful of people watching market movement who aren't happy with Elon tweeting about certain cryptos. The reason is simple and not far fetched — It's simply because you don't have the coins — Bitcoin and Dogecoin, that Elon Musk is promoting. Those who've those coins are pleased with him. By the way, Elon hasn't done anything wrong or could be termed manipulative by tweeting about those coins. Except someone is going to prove to me that it's now a crime being wealthy. For all I know, Elon is first a human being before being the world's richest man. He is entitled to his opinion and should be free to made choices without anyone preempting him.

I have both coins especially BTC. It's obvious you didn't understand what I'm trying to say here. Please read my post again and see what I don't like about Elon Musks's tweets.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 05:05:05 PM
Lot of Doge haters in here.

Here are the facts.

BTC   average tranaction fee $27
Doge average transaction fee $1

Price per coin
BTC $55K
Doge $0.30

Transaction Capacity
Dogecoin has ~10X the transaction capacity of Bitcoin

Which is why the price of Doge is currently increasing.
People can afford it and it is affordable to use.
BTC is only for the rich.
Doge is the People's Coin.

FYI:
Satoshi owns over 1 million bitcoins, funny how no one worries about that.  Roll Eyes

I was an avid Dogecoin supporter and I don't hate the coin, but I hate what it has become.

1 million BTC is not more than half according to math. Even if he sells those BTC will survive, but Dogecoin is a highly manipulative market.

BTC is for the rich? What stopped you getting a lot of free BTCs in the early days?
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / 101 addresses hold 67.7% of all Dogecoin. This is insane. You will get burned! on: April 18, 2021, 05:01:53 PM
The first one might be Elon Musk himself... 28.43%!

Watch out so you don't get burned, if they ever cash out Dogecoin goes down the toilet... just saying, it's your money after all.
355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk stop messing up the crypto market on: April 18, 2021, 05:00:28 PM
Making money in DOGE's case is pretty easy. Just buy and average the spot price, away from derivatives like Margin or derivatives will give you enough basic security to win in this market.
DOGE has old technology but the community and Elon Musk's frequent shilling is great for DOGE holders.
I don't know how many DOGEs Elon Musk bought, but he's making people happy with profits.

He probably owns 28.43% of all Dogecoin supply look here:
https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-dogecoin-addresses.html

12 people own almost 50%, that's insane and very risky to trade if you ask me.

I was a HUUGE Dogecoin supporter between 2013-2016 but not anymore because I don't like what this coin has become.
Obviously, DOGE is manipulated and if 12 people who own more than 50% of DOGE sell their coins, it will be a real disaster. A crypto meme that ranks No. 6 on the market cap is the crazy thing I've ever seen. It was like an insult to remaining serious development projects.
I believe DOGE will soon die as XVG did in 2018.

101 people hold 67.7% of all Dogecoin. This is insane. For anyone who is a newbie watch out and don't fall into this trap.

357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An unconfirmed tweet caused a $288 billion fall in bitcoin market value today on: April 18, 2021, 11:43:36 AM
Some people want to get your valuable BTC for cheap. If you fail into this trap it's your own fault and not someone's else. Be wise and don't take the FUD.

Tweeting in CAPS seem very legit to me. LOL.
358  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 18, 2021, 11:39:52 AM
People HODL and relax. Even if BTC goes down to $30K I'm more relaxed than ever because I know how much it will go up. You have to see the whole picture, don't get driven by temporary feelings.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: April 17, 2021, 10:01:49 PM
Already mentioned here that Btc is for holders. Now it seems that there can be seen a bounce back above $61k level. But if not happened, then we may see it at $56k-$57k expected. But it looks bullish and expecting a pump soon. Institutional investment can be made. The market will decide everything.
The market and the investors decide everything. It lies now in the hands of investors but as their numbers are growing, it gives us the confidence that Bitcoin will even be more valuable in the future than today. And with that instances( if ever), buying now at the hypes could still give us the profit as well if the value of Bitcoin might be reaching $100k in the next 5 years. Not really seems impossible but the problem is we are definitely not 100% about it. I'm just looking for those instances.

$100K in the next 5 years? Smiley I think it will reach that amount before summer. Do I guarantee that? No. Do I believe it? Yes. Of course this is my own opinion and nobody should take it for granted Smiley
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 17, 2021, 08:48:30 PM
Bitcoin's profit is much higher than the bank. But it cannot guarantee 100%. Profits from banks are not high but it is safe and absolute. You should divide 2 parts of your assets 1 to invest in Bitcoin and 1 more you should send to the bank.

Holding FIAT in banks is not 100% safe. It is covered by the central bank only to a certain amount so I wouldn't call that safe, I wouldn't hold a huge quantity in the bank that's for sure.
