This coin has not been designed with any vision of being a Bitcoin killer, it is a gaming coin like the title suggests. I would have thought nobody would want Bitcoin to be killed. Anyway you're right the gambling in game with Jewels and being provably fair is what gives this such an edge and caught my attention. It is great for both gaming and gambling isn't it?
yeah, i know. all im saying, as a investor, is that i'm not waiting to see jewels fighting for the top markets like we are seeing with ETH/ETC, XMR, DASH, XRP and others. yet, i know it will be big and i'll profit(specially because i'll play the game). After i just read the main OP from seeing this. It all falls on adoption of the new games.. If there is a social media push and can somehow get the new games on there and the average people would need to spend on Jewels to make it a big name in the top 20 is not all that much with the added traders doing there thing. Either way looking at the amount of players online there older game it is clear there will be a lot of demand and fun with Jewels. Thnks op It can be very profitable if all he does is retain all the old apex users. If he just has them from their peak and he monetizes it right he could make a million in the first year easily. The chances are very high he will not only retain the previous player base but he will gain a bigger player base. Older players will likely return to play Heroes and then rebirth when it has been created, not only that the provably fair gambling is going to be a big plus. I hold high hopes for my Jewels investment. |

That's cool, so you used to play? Now with the HEROES upgrade and project rebirth in the near future you will have a whale of a time coming up. I think this project has a serious shot of making something longlasting and special while bridging the gap between mmorpg's and crypto currencies. I am seeing how the gamers are all reacting (im not a big gamer myself) on the main thread and every one says the game is great. I dont know how many hours it takes to build a game, let alone two games but I'm sure the time that Chris has put into this must be considerable, but on the second hand, he did earn between 8-12k a month during the prime of apex. So its not like hes a persona non grata. But if his past is any prediction of the future with his new games im sure they'll make a lot of money.
Well if I remember rightly there is something like 60,000 lines of code just for Apex alone so that can't be a short timeframe. I will ask on the thread and update accordingly. But needless to say with HEROES as well that is an awful lot of code and tehn the project rebirth that is coming soon and the integration of Jewels into the game just goes to show he is not work shy lol Yeah I read about the income in generates but more over with the added games and Jewels as a provably fair in-game gambling room. The demand for Jewels is going to be very big. I hold my Jewels for the long term given the projects potential. |

How do I get into the slack?
I've just read through the last few pages since I was last online and have not seen them release the details yet. Hopefully it won't be long and we can have easier communication to set up games. Can we set up our own for the community or is it better to just let the devs set it up. I guess a trusted member of the community could create one, I'd go with waiting for the dev team to create an official one though. Sooner rather than later, I'd like to see one in the next day TBH. |

It is very rare you actually find a dev with so much history and being able to be vetted for that history is golden, -its a Jewel. But after finding it and investing myself, I'd like to know other peoples take on gaming coins that already have one game released with a player base of thousands, from them between 150-250 on at any moment of the day, currently 220. It has been made clear the newest game that has been released on beta testing will likely increase them number significantly. Do you believe gaming coins like this have a bright future? Maybe you feel and idea for the future will be to have it integrated to facebook? So the original game is Apex Conquer http://www.apexconquer.com/ and the ICO page www.ApexConquer.com/ico.php The newer addition is called Heroes that is now in BETA https://www.conquerheroes.com/ what intrigues me the most is having an in-game currency that will be able to buy items from the P2P shop, features and cool extras for your characters. What tops it for me is the gambling side of it, they already have a casino room ready for provably fair gambling. The basics of the room can be found here but I believe are being worked on more as time goes on..   Poker, Blackjack, Dice will be just some of the provably fair gambling you will be able to experience in game or via your browser. There is a partnership with C2 that will bring more exposure to a already large and active community. The reason for this thread is to hear your guys opinion and help exposure to the more legit projects like Jewels that are currently out there, with all the no names and anonymous teams out there gaining traction, I feel this project should too.. It's amazing how easily community's mood is changed. Like little kids on playground.
If this is the first time you have noticed how quick a communities mood changes then you have not paid attention while being involved in crypto. One dumb whale I ever seen in my life.
That doesn't really make sense but I get the gist. Now you really have no idea what he is doing so you can't say he is dumb when you don't know his game plan. Just enjoy the rise, probably down to 30k for awhile but i'd say it will chill at 37k-40k in the coming weeks. Might even be an idea to throw up some support around 20k if the whale really wants out he will have to dump eventually  Like others said already, if he wanted out then he would have done it in smaller orders not showing how much he has. This is just manipulation to push the price down, eventually he will sell one day but i'm guessing he won't do this at 20k That is funny that you and "others' know what he is doing, you must all be very rich from getting in the mind of a whale. |

Will I ever be able to trade my currency inesrn in game on the exchanges ? Is that the idea/plan fpr the future ? Or is the game just backing fpr the currency so it has a place to be spent ? Which is also good.
From what I have found, you will be able to trade items in a P2P shop ingame. Jewels is the in-game currency that you will also be able to provably fair gamble, blackjack, dice, poker. You will be able to customize your character (visually) Players from poor countries will be able to acquire rare items in-game and trade them for Jewels, possibly giving that persons family food for the week. If you believe it's a good investment, people dumping should be a GOOD thing -- it means you get more coins for even less than before.
Hopefully everything goes good but I will def be there watching for those panic sells :p  As will I. There haven't been any official announcements for an exchange yes has there? I hope we can get on Bittrex pretty quickly, I think it will definitely help draw attention to this coin. yeah, i hate ccex..... let's hope for bittrex and dream with poloniex  Poloniex is just hopeful at this point but I think Bittrex is a definite possibility if enough people contact them. They have a slack so we should be messaging them there. It could be an idea to start a slack for Jewels and build up a base of operations so to speak. well it's not like a ddos attack cost anything, they just go to Alexa, pick the companies that aren't their customers and then issue their russian drones to ddso them. It's a great business model. trust no one  I gotcha buddy, ddos does cost pennies at most but it is illegal and would be stupid to go around dossing people just for some extra business but stranger shit has happened. This ico ends for me at 6 am. I had hoped to invest during the last few hours but after looking at the time I see that wont be possible unless I decide to set an alarm and wake up extra early for it. It wont be the first time I set an alarm to wake up and buy a coin but on that Thursday I have a scheduled meeting at the Process Troubleshooting and Problem solving convention and need to be in top shape for it. Its going to be close but maybe I'll wake up around 5 am, buy my jwl hopp into a shower and head downtown and get ready for my meeting over some breakfast.
Anyone else here trying to wait for the last few moments to invest or is it just me?
Waiting for the last few minutes to buy is not a bad idea but its not helping the project. If you like the project then show your support and support it by investing and showing others your investment by having it on the ico page. That will help to build up some motion in the ocean and help bring in more investors, which in turn will help Chris get to the 200 btc goal which in turn will allow for a quick and painless development time which will turn into earlier profits for him, Pro4never and the investors. If you like it put a ring on it like beyonce said. I'll take you post under consideration. You have valid points that I cant argue. Why would you invest in the last few hours if the project doesn't get to 200 BTC your last minute contribution won't do any good to this project. Invest in early, show your support and once BTCs start to stack up others will see an opportunity to invest in it before the ICO ends. Else your last minute contribution will just get refunded if it doesn't meet the goal Chris set. For most ICO, I also usually leave until the end if I invest but your point is valid, if you believe in the project then it would be a good idea to show that support early on and give more chance for the project to be a success. I have no doubts it will. |

Yeah, the long span between announcement and ICO start got me, too. But still, I am a little taken aback. One way or another, I don't think it is good to be involved in any project that is not linked to Lisk at this point, even if it is only as an escrow partner. Focus is key. I agree totally. We as investors don't need the CEO of our project involved in the unknown. Either way it is bad, I read there main accounts don't have much history which is why they are using the newly created. Would suggest Max doesn't know them to well either. I would urge Max to pull out of that role he accepted. |
