6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinye is the first coin that you can tip on Youtube (10K to each tester!) on: February 12, 2014, 04:21:24 AM
Anybody interested in tipping Coinye on youtube? Or cryptocurrencies in general?
I think this is actually very interesting. It could also be used as a "rep" in forums such as here, but to implement something like this crypto's would have to be known and widely accepted. If not, people might receive coins...but they won't know how it works or deal with the hassle of having it...just making the tips a waste.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Selling GHs to cex.io? on: February 12, 2014, 04:11:59 AM
Did anyone try to sell their GHs there and got anything?
It doesn't get very clear from the homepage how it works and the registration fails for me.

what do you mean? I though you can only sell the GH/s that you bought?
This is a very confusing topic...
8  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Its time to switch from CEX.IO? on: February 12, 2014, 04:09:37 AM
I think you guys are honestly just bashing. You all do understand that the price of a GHS on cex.io is determined by the people who are trading it right? You all bitch about the high price for a GHS yet people are buying/selling it at quite a rather large volume.

The only cases where anything would be an apparent scam would be the retards who don't use 2FA and have had there accounts hacked because they think downloading this magical bot program that will make them a ton of money on cex.io.

So please enlighten me on how cex.io is a scam i've been one of the first registered members there and I can say I made plenty of money on there with the "cloud" mining as well as day trading. With 0 fees its not hard to flip and flop 500 GHS at highs and lows throughout the day manually for a couple easy BTC to make WHILE it also mines for me when i'm holding.
This is what most people don't think about. Though I agree it IS overpriced, that's part of the negative part of CEX. The positive is that you don't have to pay for electricity, deal with the heat output, space restrictions, etc, and you can buy/sell GHS like nothing. It takes a few seconds. You can't expect a company to make you billions just because you buy a GHS or two.

I hope people realize how amazing the guys behind this exchange has been.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin should I mine with windows azure? on: February 12, 2014, 12:05:32 AM
Focus on CPU only coins, unless you catch a coin that just launched.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, launches Feb 11, 2014 on: February 11, 2014, 11:52:25 PM

Well how do I even solomine without a wallet?
Sorry, but it's a mess looking through 20 pages, and I'm a newb
It's ok, I understand, sorry for being harsh.

You have to download the wallet, let it sync. Sometimes it won't sync by itself. You have to make a .conf file in the directory, follow this: (then find the miner)
I absolutely cannot get this to work.

My conf file is riecoin.conf in the appdata riecoin folder:

server=1
daemon=1
rpcport=28332
port=28333
rpcuser=myusername
rpcpassword=mypassword
rcpallowip=127.0.0.1
gen=0
addnode=194.97.156.59
addnode=76.102.71.50
addnode=79.135.200.61
addnode=162.248.98.162
addnode=64.79.107.5
addnode=192.241.129.169
addnode=173.193.48.174
addnode=107.170.26.188
addnode=67.225.172.77
addnode=198.144.180.117
addnode=198.144.180.118

command line for the miner is: F:\rminerd_win32\rminerd.exe -a primesr -o 127.0.0.1:28332 -u myusername -p mypassword -t 1

still failjob.

json rpc call failed  401

Any advice?

is your .conf file defo a .conf file and not a .conf.txt file

are you also on a 32bit system with a single core?

64 bit quad core, two different systems. Using the windows wallet that was posted by the trusted member.

setgenerate true = mining, but the mining app will not run. Every time its fail.

and its def a .conf file. I've solo mined plenty of coins, I just cannot get this one to work.

why are you running a 32bit miner with only 1 thread set in the command line then?

Yes...solomining...it's what people have been talking about the past 20 pages...
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, launches Feb 11, 2014 on: February 11, 2014, 11:43:04 PM
any one got a Rminerd for windows 64 ??
Yes.

win64 miner shows port 9332 in minerd, but conf  file is a completely different port 28332. thus gives json errors access denied.

rpcallow=* didn't help

any tips?

with minerd -o http://192.168.0.69:28332 -u me -p rocks

You need to add the port number or maybe typo?

It works for me solo

How do you choose your http://192.168.0.69:28332 ?
I use 127.0.0.1 , but get disconnection.
127 is the localhost default. 192 is the IP specific.

I've been watching this exchange since it launched.
I haven't registered or used the exchange as of yet.
What puts me off about the site is that I'VE HEARD that the withdraw rates are pretty high...

Thank you for actively following our development.

This has been addressed earlier and since today we changed our withdraw rates to a fix amount, similar as cryptsy.

BTC withdrawal fee: 0.0005
LTC withdrawal fee: 0.005

Ah ok. What was it before? And what are the exchange rates? Sorry if I'm asking questions that I can find on the site myself, just want to hear from people themselves.

Here he is Shamelessly planning on using his site to promote NXT  wow what an asshole.
https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,995.0.html

Since I was banned, I can't show you the PMs I had with the admin to partner up with NXT. But it didn't work out.

Sure I took 30k worth of NXT from a fundraiser. But it wasn't worth what it is now.

Your bringing back things that happened 2 months ago.

Yet I have never stolen doge. Come back when you read otherwise.

What? you took 30k worth of NXT from a fundraiser?? WTF end of discussion who could trust anything else you say.
Are you serious? So you took 30k worth of NXT and act like it's nothing just because the value went down? How stupid and dishonest are you? Really, answer me.

I'm not justifying anything. It's a confession
Confession of an Asshole thief who robs fundraisers.  Low Class Scumbag.  go back to your site Drexme go Hide there.

You're right. But it's just a drop in the bucket I gave more to NXT than I stole
HAHAAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHA. You are amazing. Not trying to justify anything still right?

Hahahaha no. A confession is you discuss it BEFORE anybody brings it up...and you did try to justify your actions. "But it wasn't worth what is it now." Stealing is stealing. You so bad. Just stop.
