I'm concerned about buying then getting diluted with massive money following me.  Problem with open ico.

Don't buy then.
This is a good project, but not necessarily suitable for ordinary investors!

What do you mean by being not suitable for ordinary investors?
Only set for whales?
Why? What's your reason?
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitmxittz [BMXTZ] on: May 12, 2017, 02:26:00 AM
Both links are working now.

Those who did not backup their wallets, kindly take screenshot of wallet with coins, download wallet, copy public key, private key of wallet  and keep it safe for future reference.
Do not share your private keys with anyone.

I confirm both are ok now. Thank dev.
And for the sake of safety, I download the wallet and copy keys. Look forwards to the future development.
Be serious, and be successful. Good luck.

************Announcement*************

There has been an exploit been found, can everyone stop trading bismuth please and wait for further update from HCLivess this will take a couple of hours to investigate but I repeat stop trading bismuth and wait further announcements on here and In slack. Thank you for understanding but again STOP TRADING.

ALATAY

My balance has turned into a huge negative one:

http://bismuth.online/minerquery?myaddy=147c45831fa760c4ea9c1dd0908f7e75bde3f50d980268ef47614133

I see that this is also happening to a few other people/wallets.

Is that related to the exploit? I haven't spend any of the 1000+ blocks I mined.

Use the latest version wallet, the bug is fixed. Your coins will be back.
Anyway, you mined a lot! What rig did you use?
I can't mine a block now as diff is so high.

403 Forbidden of the sites make me have a bad feeling on this project

error '403 Forbidden' will be resolved soon.

Hope so. We all hope the swap has a success. But firstly, we need login in the website and fetch our wallet.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: May 11, 2017, 11:49:02 AM
Just go through their Reddit posts to get some insight on this coin do not expect good things lol

What do you find? Can you share with your finding?

I am curious about this project. But still not clear about its potential.

Just fud. It is in the interest of people who want to invest in this to spread fud and doubt because if fewer people invest they will have a larger share of the total amount of tezzies. People try to turn the smallest things into something much bigger.

Do you mean Tezos is very potential coin?  What's your proof?
I'd like to also learn about the new ICO.
647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: May 11, 2017, 11:41:02 AM

You ate your own words and terms.

Or your terms just were made after you drunk of Vodka?  Angry
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: May 11, 2017, 08:51:04 AM
You know, I think the problem with Byteball I'm seeing is that people with Byteball are hoarding them pretty hard.  There's almost no volume on exchanges so any attempt to buy any meaningful amount skyrockets the price.  I mean the 24 hour volume has been under 50 BTC total.  I don't know if going to a model where the distribution will go to existing holding is going to improve the distribution at all, it seems the big holders from the first round like ICONOMI are not selling off what they've received to help improve the distribution. There really needs to be some incentive for more people to sell their early distributions to help even this out.  I mean it's nice that we'll get 0.2 per byte we already hold, but many of the people holding are the same people who aren't selling any at all so I'm not sure this will help improve availability.  I think the run up in altcoin prices is actually hurting how widely distributed byteball will get right now, people are hoarding too hard.

As the distribution model, most bb are in the hand of rich man. They won't sell bb at low price. For them , it's only a small amount money. I doubt if the price will jump dramatically after the final distribution.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bismuth - New Language, Interpretation Engines, DAPPs on: May 11, 2017, 07:39:05 AM
Ah, I see.

Node.exe is pegging CPU at 100% - surely a bug?

Miner is using only 6 threads and 36% CPU usage total. Is this optimal given it's cache bottlenecked?
Maybe,
I'm the same as your question!

You need set the mine parameter is config.txt.
Set mine_thread= N, N is the number of CPU you want to use.

Look at what i have found out:

Does this wallet look familiar to you? Yes?

Look at when this coin was created: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1150229.0
And AMS? 3 days later...

Now look at how transfer coin ended before the takeover: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1150229.msg12638158#msg12638158

"Because the dev is same as ratecoin and others.."

draw your own conclusions from this...

What do you mean?

You mean the dev of AMS is the same one as TX. And the code of AMS is just a copy of TX.
If it is true, I think AMS is dead.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAAH Beta - June 7 - Join us for the Airdrop Now. on: May 10, 2017, 09:40:37 AM
Do we have to PM again our waves address for the next scheduled airdrops, or will we just automatically get them at our already submitted address?
I have the same questions.
What about the next round distribution on 14 May?
How many WAAH will be distributed? What rate will be used?
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitmxittz [BMXTZ] on: May 10, 2017, 08:58:06 AM

653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAAH Beta - June 7 - Join us for the Airdrop Now. on: May 10, 2017, 03:38:25 AM
I have a fair amount of WAAH now after the first drops and the 2:1 of the last round.  That said, all I'm seeing here is thanks for the tokens and "this great tech, future super good".

I'm starting to wonder where the technology/development actually is with this.  I'm not even sure what the WAAH stands for (if anything).  Aside from some rather vague statements of plans for the token I'm not seeing a lot of practical application here.  It even mentions the possible use of WAAH on/as a decentralized exchange piece, which seems insane given that the only place to buy it right now is ON A DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGE.

Not trying to be negative at all, I actually spent some waves to pick up some extra, but I'm feeling very skeptical of little/any actuais, besides a possl talk of WHAT this is, besides a possible money machine for the person who spent ONE wave to create these tokens.

The advantage :  FREE!

disadvantage: not sure!  It could be fall in a scam. Can also be a free cake.

But who knows?

the server works fine . When I entered no problem . Maybe if I'm lucky.
New free games note.

You are lucky. If you are logged in it works. When you have to log in it doesn't.

WHen I use a browser with cookies saving my account and password, I can log in.
However, I can't if I use a new browser.

All great news about new exchanges! I also arranged the coinexchange.io listing so we will be there as well.  Now we have: Yobit, Nova, CryptoDAO and coinexchange.io. 4 exchanges WOW  Cool

Good work everyone!

I will soon publish a roadmap. The last airdrop payments will be done today.

Good news. I am not sure about if the airdrop will help AMS or make the price dump.
Anyway, the airdrop has already attracted a lot of attention on AMS. It is good.
If having a good roadmap and a clear plan, the future of AMS is bright.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: May 09, 2017, 08:54:30 AM
Hey dev can you tell me how much will I get in dollars if I were to sign a message with an address containing one thousand BTC?

You would get 1000 * 0.0625 = 62.5 GB * 237$ = 14800 dollars at this moment

You are rich if having 1000 BTC, and getting richer and richer.  Grin Grin
That's the damned rule in the crypto and also real world!

657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bismuth - New Language, Interpretation Engines, DAPPs on: May 09, 2017, 08:31:10 AM
To the people who are asking for a re-launch..

Find another coin to play with if you cant handle that someone has better ressources than you.

Its not unfair, you just have to invest more to gain something.
I personally had my Gaming PC sit all night and mine and I got nothing, sucks. I know..

But are you complaining about Bitcoin not being re-launched or another currency just because you did not get a chance?

This is a very interesting project and when the first pool launches it will be great to play around with.

Think of it like this.. We might be the first users to play with the new "Dash" coin.

Python has not been used before to my knowledge when it comes to crypto.
I havent seen any atleast.

Looking forward for more updates from the developer, and I am ready to help if you need it.
I have been working with the Wave project as a translation manager and launched 2 coins myself.

So I have a little experience with this Smiley

I'm sorry to contradict you but if you've read the previous posts you will know that there have been many problems with the blocks that disappeared. It is not a problem of calculation power, for example I lost many coins I found. Many have updated the wallet and they lost their coins, with BTC this did not happen.

Fact is this were not confirmed blocks, some call it orphan.

no, i think they had really mined some blocks. had it today from changing from 3.34 to 3.411
luckily, i took part in testnet, so i have my coins back.

i only saw complaining, no reaction to what people said in slack and on bct.
everybody is too lazy to read...

It is possible as the dev roll back the chain in order to "jump" some stuck blocks.

I think the re-launch is not realistic. We may expect that the dev can work on a workable pool (or protocol for a pool) and stable version.

escrow required.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bismuth - New Language, Interpretation Engines, DAPPs on: May 09, 2017, 01:05:10 AM
Can we please re-launch this coin already?  The release was very unfair.

Seems relaunch will not happen from the dev.
Absolutely fairness doesn't exist.
A lot of ppl spent a lot of money to rent the expensive rigs to mine a lot of bismuth.
I think it is acceptable though several ppl mined most coins so far.
