It's not as if they wouldn't know you if the name was changed. In fact more would know you. Having both the name and ticker being phonetically read the same or abbreviated in a clearly distinguishable way, in my opinion, is crucial. The coin should have one spoken name, not two. It's never too late to make a positive change and a simple one at that. I apologize to anyone who takes offence to this notion but I can't be the only one who feels this way about zer.
That'll be all from me, just wanted to share that.
(I understand ZER was used due to ZEC, but that's not a recognizable feature (to the common person) and their usage makes more sense (ZEe-Cash). I assume ZERO was unavailable which is why I suggested ZRO.)

You've been out of context from your very first post in this thread ... Should the Safecoin devs have fixed the bug before launching the coin?... Op err is not a bug. There was no "bug" to fix. That being said, SAFE coins aren't safe from random, non-consensus mutability; good to know that there's another coin out there I'll never use. Yet here you are. SAFE has continued to garner support and has been strengthened by your eager efforts to undermine it. So maybe we all should thank you for that.

Now that Safe dev team have forked to a new chain is anyone still mining Safe classic chain? I'm confused why you chose to concede so quickly, when The DAO fork happened ethereum devs had millions of dollars worth of losses at stake, and even then they obviously chose to fork with heavy hearts. You guys cut and ran without a fight at all, as soon as you felt some heat you hit blockchain reset instantly, which doesn't make investors feel very secure, or Safe .... i don't get it. If an exchange or regulator squeezed you guys in the future, I guess you'd fork again, hey.
Why was the choice made so quickly? To minimize time lost. SAFE isn't listed on an exchange and isn't widely known. Though 57 votes were cast over 100 were present. It was an opportune time to have made this decision. Ultimately everyone was on the same page concerning the decision. This took place over the course of 2 days. Obviously if the circumstances wouldn't have allowed for it, then we would be looking at a different outcome. ... We are only 12% drama free but working that percentage up slowly but surely.
Still waiting on you to tell me how to track the currency, that people who had a legitimate ownership of that currency, transferred through legitimate zCash Privacy transactions..... Jesus Christ this guy. You understand that SAFE wallets are transparent by default? Do you have no record of your transactions? Have you ever even used SafeCoin?

Call the cops dude. Fuck off. No one is with you on this.
No matter how many times you repeat yourself you're not going to convince anyone that you were involved with this coin. You're lying about having a pool and attempting to make a problem where one doesn't exist. The only reason you continue to make these repeated posts is so that new viewers would only see the bullshit you're propagating and not the fact of the matter which is already over and done with.

Hilarious So you are saying these are the same? Wow. It is hard to believe the level of your misunderstanding.
A blackhat attacker does not stop the attack 0.0001% of the way in, does not go into discord/slack and explain what happened and how to fix it, does not undo the high diff that was created and make it so the chain does not have to be forked and all can be updated with a minimum impact.
When you see what a real attack is like, you can learn the difference between what happened and a real attack. The difference is that you wanted credit you sociopath.

...As you are a KMD notary shouldn't you be....
What feken idiot planted that lie into your head? It's a safe assumption as the homework leads nowhere. Anyway, you now convinced me that I am like to attack SAFE. So I will. .. It was your choice to make me into an enemy.
Clearly it's your choice. With the crowd you have brought about to publicly shame this coin, what choice did you leave its community other than to paint you in this regard? I expect this means all future attacks should be credited to you.

...but I did beat around the bush about confronting the fact that you do not operate a pool for SafeCoin.
Do some homework. What pool do you operate? Nothing you have said in this thread is correct. There was a community vote visible to a large amount of people and every Safecoin pool administrator. The attack was noticed by everyone who was mining at the time and we dealt with the situation together. We mined through the difficulty and brought it back down to normal before still deciding to roll back. I don't understand why you are trying to dispute this.

...while the dev works on recovering from the attack jl777B did on the chain.
It wasn't an "attack", the chain had a mechanism to mine it and that mechanism was utilized. It's, literally, that simple. Calling it an "attack" is, as I pointed out earlier, the same as saying that a miner with 40 1080TIs is "attacking" the network because you only have an RX 480. ...It was an organized, calculated attack intended to do harm to Safecoin...
OK, let's pretend I'm not as knowledgeable as I actually am for a second: Explain, exactly, how creating valid blocks, which are recognized by consensus, can "do harm to Safecoin" (especially since it's "Secured by Bitcoin").... The equivalent hashpower of over 128,000 1080 ti's (700 Sol/s each) were pointed at the SafeCoin network during the attack. The overall network speed was driven from 300 KSol/s to 90 MSol/s. 1 MSol alone would have been enough for a 51% attack and capture a majority of the blocks. A bug was exploited by jl777B that him to generate blocks instantly. This stuck the chain, though we eventually mined through it before doing a rollback and fork. Before the problem was resolved he joined the discord to boast about what he had accomplished and attempted to provide a solution. The fixes he recommended were a load of bull. He invited others to FUD. Regardless of what you may think, jl777B orchestrated the attack. He mentioned that the exploit used led to the largest explosion in difficulty for KMD. It's not something you can claim to forget. Thousands of blocks were mined within this period. There was a community vote for a rollback when the fork was applied that fixed this problem. jl777B has a history of malicious practice http://blog.bluemeanie.net/2014/10/nxtautodac-jl777-stolen-nxt.htmlYou are being irrational. I didn't troll you, but I did beat around the bush about confronting the fact that you do not operate a pool for SafeCoin.
