1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Real Estate Blockchain Crowdfunding Technology on: April 24, 2018, 04:35:53 PM

I didnt see any progression at all with this.

They do exactly the same like other project.

Wrong. We are already purchasing the first investment and and finalizing legal work.

We will probably go live next month.

We will be the first real estate token company operating, also one of the first ICO companies with a working product.

Please stop shit / fud posting.

Also, Bernardo has never been our CEO but product director

Miguel
Any details on the first investment? Location/asset class/etc.?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ✨Rise Housing: A Social Impact Company✨ | New project/token (RSE) on: April 24, 2018, 04:29:15 PM
Homeownership has traditionally been the path to a secure financial future. Yet with homeownership on a historic decline, home equity is no longer achievable for many. This has diminished the middle class and led to rising inequality. The reality is that equity-driven wealth is out of touch for many. Rise is a transformative platform that provides equity access to real estate for tenants -- and rapid liquidity for asset owners.
FinCEN has stated that ICOs are subject to registration as Money Services Businesses. Is Rise Housing registered? https://www.natlawreview.com/article/fincen-letter-to-us-senate-committee-finance-purports-to-thread-needle-potentially

I bought more REAL ( STOCKHOLM SYNDROME?? ), just to lower my average price.

I still have some hope for that project and if you manage to sort out licensees we may see 30-40mln market cap.

But REAL Team failed on so many levels so far, that it's difficult to blame all the angry people here.

The single worst decision was closing Telegram account, never seen this before from any other ICO.
It just shows how low you value your investors. But maybe you can rethink your strategy, hire a community manager and open some communication channels.

In crypto, everything is driven by sentiment and you completely failed on that field but is not too late yet.

Your decision to invest more in a team that has "failed on so many levels" suggests that crypto markets are being driven by more than just sentiment.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real estate question on: April 18, 2018, 06:59:08 PM
Like you said, people could buy a stake in a property and get dividends from the profits derived from the property.

How would Bitcoin enable this better than fiat currency? The utility you're speaking of isn't possible only through bitcoin or blockchain technology.

Tokenizing individual properties would make them much more liquid than a traditional LP interest. And would facilitate diversified RE investment by retail investors. Basically, taking the concept of a publicly traded REIT and applying it to individual properties. A promising concept which has yet to be executed.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Estate related projects comparison on: April 18, 2018, 06:51:17 PM
How many of these projects actually invest their ICO funds into real estate?  Seems like most of them are "platforms" yet they are raising millions of dollars.  If the money was invested in physical assets this would be reasonable (even relatively small) however developing a top end platform should only cost a fraction of what they are taking.  What are they really doing with the money?
Pocketing a lot of it. Spending most of the rest of it on moonshoot all-encompassing platforms that are doomed for failure instead of focusing on a specialty that would facilitate development of an MVP, then actual investment in RE.
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real estate question on: April 17, 2018, 06:18:33 PM
I'm also looking at crypto as an alternative financing method for RE I already own. Have done a bit of research into recapping assets via ICO and other potential avenues. Regulatory risks seem to be the first hurdle to overcome. Let me know if you're still looking into this and we can share notes.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CPROP - Blockchain powered real estate on: April 17, 2018, 05:41:14 PM
I saw some real estate project using the blockchain technology like the REX, REAL, and some others but I didn't see a successful and stable real-estate token up until now, they just launched and stay for sometimes then they are almost gone, so what would be the guarantee that this one will be a prolific investment and become stable as a currency?
No such guarantee is possible. CProp is merely an idea, no monetized product exists. Putting money in at this stage is pure speculation, so you will either lose everything or make a lot.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY] 🔥 DomusCoins ICO 🔥 Coin backed by real estate properties ✔ on: April 10, 2018, 06:23:27 PM
Is it something like a collective investment in real estate or something like that?
Yes, you if you can not invest on your own, or do not want to invest a huge amount - this project is for you.
This is cool, if this project opens new doors for thousands of investors - it will definitely be successful.
Not even for investors. There is a huge possibility that many people will want to invest in this token even if they have never done it before.
It's really beautiful! Moreover, now this is a very profitable line of business. The time of the cryptocurrency is just beginning, and a lengthy correction of the market will make it easier to enter into it.
I dont really understand how correction can help us? People lose money at this time, very big money.
Corrections can be positive as well as negative.

Howdy folks! We want to share a video of a talk that our CEO, Monika Proffitt, gave in Austin last month at South by Southwest. The talk is five minutes long and is called "Blood Clots and Blockchain." Let us know what you think! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHLrqicRomc
Your whitepaper mentions the possibility of 1031 exchange of tokens. Good idea. Do you have a framework in place to facilitate such transactions, or is it just an idea at this stage?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GENESIS - Investment in Real Estate on: April 09, 2018, 03:26:37 PM
Will the project purse only work with its tokens?

It will be internal exchange on the platform. You can use cryptocurency and fiat money.
I understand that US residents were unable to participate in the ICO due to regulatory issues. I assume that will continue to be the case. How do you prevent US residents from acquiring tokens on the secondary market, subjecting you to SEC regulation without your knowledge?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀📈[ANN-ICO]ATLANT Real Estate Platform| 📈🚀🌟🌟 on: April 09, 2018, 03:18:40 PM
lol at anyone still invested in this
Curious why you say this? Feel free to PM if you don't want to post in forum. I agree that speculating on ICOs from these moonshot projects that are years from generating revenue is dumb. But if your position is long-term, from what I've seen, ATLANT shows more progress and promise than most real estate-backed token schemes. If you've seen or think differently, I'd love to hear thoughts.

Naturally! Especially when a coin is supported not by words, but by real estate
Yes, it looks like this is the only project related to real estate. The only question is, is it profitable to invest in it?
There are dozens of projects related to the tokenization of real estate. See this post for a compilation of many of them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2146910.0;all

How to gain profit from DomusCoins?
The increasingly widespread use of cryptocurrencies will lead to an increase in the value of those currencies that present strong collateral. DomusCoins has all the characteristics to be a protagonist in this market. In any case, the value of DOC will grow at least as much as that of real estate. So you will always be able to sell the DOCs at a higher value after a while.
When you own a real estate property it’s likely that you rent it out and take a profit out of it. DomusCoins rents out the properties on short-term basis to maximize profits. Profits will be shared proportionally with all the DomusCoins’ holders. When you sell a property you do it to make a profit. Again, this happens with DomusCoins: when a property is sold, the profit, in DOCs, is shared with all the DomusCoins’ holders. Even after a sale, the emission value of your DomusCoins will always be guaranteed.
What real estate does Domus own?
I have long been trying to find the answer to this question. But everywhere they write something in common. Like real estate in Dubai, America and so on, and where exactly - is unknown
I'd bet a decent amount of money that they own no property, and are months if not years from even developing a platform on which to distribute proceeds to coinholders. It is possible that an affiliated entity owns properties that Domus hopes to tokenize, but if they owned real property today that was generating revenue, they'd be advertising details on the properties all over the place.

What are these high-yield development projects?

At the end of 2018, the team is scheduled to launch the special high-yield projects in construction and renovation of high-ROI real estate. It means at least the profit of 20–25% per annum for owner of real estate or 50–75% of net profit when this real estate will be sold.
Is any real estate (land or buildings) owned presently, or any development contracts in place?

Did you forget Propy?

REAL and Propy look to be leaders in the space right now.

Can you post ann topic or website link for Propy?

Found it. It's added.

Great list. Thank you. Lots of ICOs in this space, but little real progress. Has anyone actually tokenized a piece of real estate yet?

How are deposits being made, via fiat or crypto or both? Where are deposits held until project completion? Are holders of PEXT the only people who can place orders?

I asume you are not a lawyer but there are some elements that won’t comply with this when platform is launched (lack of control -we can choose not to participate or which property to invest-, also  pooling of income..) .

In any case they are regulating it, so i do not see whats your point. I am pretty sure what they say is true.

No I'm not lawyer, I'm a RE professional who has to deal with law on everyday basis. Are you a lawyer? I kind of doubt that since you confuse "management of the property" with a possibility of choosing which property to invest in. These are two completely different things.

What regulation do they claim is holding them up? SEC seems satisfied with real estate-based ICOs as Reg D and Reg S offerings; its just a bit more work complying with those regulations, far from impossible.

Lost trust on ATL
Roadmap say platform will release in march and march is about to end and still they are not conformed about the date
No office picture, not active on any social media,.  Undecided
I am sure some investors think like you do, but remember that this month has not ended yet so we better wait until it's over.
Some project loves to make a thrill and do give update at the last deadline, I hope Atlant would do the same so investors will be happy for this month.

A lot of projects have deadlines in March but every project, as you point out, has their own (or not) strategy in order to keep their investors up to date or thrilled.

I'm sadly enough still waiting on ATLANT to comment on the QUOINEX-listing that was announced in October to be done in December last year though...

Page 6 of ATLANT's white paper shows three funded assets (Figure 3). Have any assets been tokenized, or is this just a sample of what a screen would look like if any assets were ever funded?

I think it's just an example.

Thanks. I think you're correct. I got excited when I saw that; made me think ALTANT had successfully tokenized like $50M of real estate. Seems obvious now that they haven't.

Has ANYONE successfully tokenized a piece of real estate, or is everyone still in platform-building stage?
