241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL&CALM on: February 03, 2019, 02:23:01 AM
Yes, I also do believe that holding coins today is a great choice than to panic sell now while the price if it is very low because the crypto is just in a bad days or months so when we pass this, I think we can earn much more than what we have now.
but I think not always holding is a good choice, especially if you buy coins that are not well known, and are vulnerable to dumping, or manipulation. if the price falls the right thing to do is to stay calm. then you can research and analyze what you have to do, buy more, sell or hold
242  Other / Off-topic / Re: A KYC database sold on the Darkweb ? on: February 02, 2019, 06:43:16 AM
That's the weakness of KYC and we had a taste of it when facebook got hacked and another one when this forum's database got stolen. I miss the times when we could trade freely without having to deal with KYC on sites like bittrex and poloniex, but things change. Unfortunately, in most cases they change for the worse.
I used to be and still am against KYC and government agencies trying to oversee crypto trading, but reading the posts of some forum members here makes me thing that I'm in the minority.

VPN + download Google Auth for PC = No more KYC  Cheesy
I tried as a test 1 year ago and I successfully bypass all KYC verifications, I forgot on which one of exchanges... it was one of the most popular.
How could you bypass a KYC verifications using only VPN and Google Auth? Aren't you aware what is KYC means? It just means that they want your real name and address while some of it asking for a any verified government ID's. Don't make KYC as easy as you think, it is not that simple.
Maybe what he means is about KYC still used only to increase withdrawal limits. Because he said in last year, when we put 2fa we get more limit, and if we do KYC, our withdrawal limit is increased again. Like we must pass any tier of security level in that exchange.
In some exchanges it is not required to verify KYC, but of course the class on your account will be (low) and result in the facilities you get incomplete at the exchange, on some other exchange sites it requires yo do KYC. but whatever it is, hopefully the data we give, is not misused or sold to someone
243  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: February 02, 2019, 06:32:32 AM
As soon as I feel it is the right time to buy the market takes a major hit.
Its almost in my best interest now, I think, to wait for a major crash in the price.
I am not hoping this will happen but based on what others are claiming, we have not seen the lowest price just yet.

As long as there is no positive news to come, then whenever prices can fall like today? make sure you keep looking at the conditions on the market when you want to buy. but the price may rise suddenly right ? you also have to keep monitoring the chart, for now prepare to buy more
we have to analize overall market condition.what is actually going in market , about market sentiment , investors psychology and other factors.if we already know market condition we could start decided , will we continue invest in cryptocurrency or maybe canceled it.our decision should take by clear mind dont use our emotion.
Thats right, that is what must be do before determining the choice to buy and sell, everything must be analyzed to get good predictions. for daytrade you also have to see a candle on the chart for analysis, thats will also determine your profit. the most important ones always use technical analysis

245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF .. do we really need it? on: February 01, 2019, 10:00:25 AM
Bitcoin ETF will bring more investor in to Bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies so we really need it. By approved it by SEC, Bitcoin will be become new asset class so more people in the world will interesting to invest in to BTC. We areally need it to push the price going up. If approved it BTC has potential to going up another 10 times more.
Yeah we need it actually, from that of course bitcoin market will be wider and expand and invite many prospective users to enter. but we cannot intervene in the SEC's decision. Even though he refused, it was not a problem? bitcoin will continue to run and develop with or without SEC
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investors now moving to gold on: January 31, 2019, 04:11:42 AM
Bullshit.

Correct title is, Bitcoin investors own gold too.  I am a bitcoin investor and I am abandoning neither. The only thing I'm abandoning is FIAT. (slowly) If I had to choose between Gold and Bitcoin, I would choose Bitcoin because you can't buy your groceries with gold coins. Gold's use as a currency is non-existent and it is not coming back. It is over for gold.
You have to know that in Middle Eastern countries, some countries there use gold as a payment method, it's called "dinar" they use gold for currencies because it's more stable and safer. but as an investment. Bitcoin users will not move just like that, especially gold already exists before Bitcoin is present, so the title of this thread will not happen at all
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 31, 2019, 04:05:24 AM
Bitcoin does not need any miracle in order to once again in several years overcome the $ 20,000 mark and go much higher. It will happen whether we want it or not, the most later when it happens in my opinion is 2022. By this year, we will probably be able to see Bitcoin at a price of $ 100,000.
Miracles are needed if bitcoin cannot longer experience price increases. whereas currently the price could pump anytime ? then Bitcoin's potential is still large, users continue to arrive, then why do we need a miracle? we don't need that. Bitcoin prices will definitely recover when the trend has changed, believe me

249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will SEC never approve Bitcoin ETF? on: January 25, 2019, 04:11:32 PM
I think a bitcoin ETF will be approved in a few years but for now, no chance. I just don’t think the SEC are going to approve anything put forward.
No matter how long, if the SEC still sees bitcoin investment as a high-risk commodity, they will never approve it. Bitcoin is considered too risky because of many things like fluctuations or manipulation. if bitcoin investment is practically safe according to their judgment. then bitcoin will definitely be approved, lets see in the future
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your most common uses for cryptocurrencies? on: January 25, 2019, 04:07:08 PM
I use cryptocurrency to pay bills but most of the time, I use it or encash it because of our daily needs or in emergency uses like hospital bills or for school purposes for my son, but if an online transaction is what you are asking then I mostly use it to pay bills.
Its Very good if you can use bitcoin to pay bills or something, there are rarely users who use bitcoin for that, most of them just see it for investment. if the merchants around me accept bitcoin, of course I will spend bitcoin more often. I'm currently using it for long-term investments only
251  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: January 25, 2019, 04:00:52 PM
What is the status on the legality of bitcoin and crytpocurrency in your country? In my country, it is perfectly fine to do so. A local exchange wallet allows us bitcoin users to easily have our bitcoins exchanged into our local currency, and we may retrieve this through remittances or have it transferred directly to our bank accounts. I don't see anything wrong with selling your bitcoins for cash, unless the mere possession of bitcoin is considered to be illegal in your country.

The feeling is mutual. In my country its not a big deal to sell bitcoin to cash because their has a wallet that we used to sell it into cash and we can also used it in remittance which is for me its very convenient to use. Its good to know that even if its not legal yet they still allowed us to used it and hopefully ot will continue and it will be better in the future.
In some countries there are no clear rules regarding the use of cryptocurrency. their government has not provided clear regulations for this. then you are still free to use bitcoin for anything, shop or exchange it for cash. Yeah I hope there are clear rules in forward for this
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Hodlers have now turned to Traders? on: January 24, 2019, 05:21:07 AM
I dont think holder is a good term to call a long-term trader.
You misunderstood that. HODLER is long term holding not long term trader, OP didn't called holders as long term traders.

So, what you call holders are not becoming traders but they are trader who start trading their fund because of the market drops and trying to recover their loss.
Holders can shift to traders just to avoid further losses and they are trying revive their portfolio's though, I'll remain as a holder.
if they intend to become holders, they cannot sell in the middle of the road because of the current price conditions? that means they don't have the character as holders, because when you become a holder then trust and patience for the coin they buy must be there, if they turn into traders because of the price conditions they are not actual holders #imo
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: January 24, 2019, 05:11:36 AM
In crypto you have to forget the past where  you earn huge in short span of time. Now you have to be patience ane diversify your portfolio and invest in top 20 coin for most part of your investment. Always invest slowly and wait for another opportunities.
Doing a limit to lose to be able to avoid the amount of losses that we will experience is a solution that can indeed be done to be able to avoid if you want to invest safely
Diversify is one good way to manage risk. with diversify the risk might be much smaller, because you will avoid the risk of bankruptcy because invest in just one coin. and then managing the right capital according to your financial capabilities is also a good way too, Do not allocate funds more than you cannot afford to lose
254  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: January 23, 2019, 05:26:32 AM
we cannot do anything with the current market conditions we can only wait now that we as investors must be able to take advantage of every opportunity we get to benefit
Of course you can do anything, the market is still volatile, prices are up and down as usual and you can use it for your short-term profits,
monitor and analyze to know when to buy and sell. you can profit easily if you know the strategy, market conditions were not as bad as last year.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: January 23, 2019, 05:23:34 AM
Printing money has always been a priority of the state, that is, people in power. Therefore, money. power and politics are inseparable. He who has money has power, and vice versa. Therefore, money is not only a reflection of the state of the state’s economy, it is a powerful political tool.
You could say that, when you want to lobby politics with someone, of course you have to bring the financial benefit clause to them.
money has become a tool to facilitate the interests of some people you know
256  Economy / Economics / Re: what should consider before investing in a coin? on: January 23, 2019, 05:20:27 AM
For me i should consider the popularity of the coin and the structure. How many years since it created. And the last one is the history of the value in our market.

oh good for you but for me i dont usually look on the popularity or on the history of the coins because i only invest on the newer  ones and  most especially on ico's that i find promising because i think they can give much return compared to standard cryptos  .  i dont really care if its a pump and dump scheme but atleast i can earn something big for a quicker time  .
I think ICO investment is far more risky because it has the possibility of a scam. but you're right the benefits may be far greater for ico investments. because token prices can be very cheap compared to prices when listed in exchange. so look for a trusted and potential project. by look at several aspect like their ANN, Team, and etc
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: January 23, 2019, 05:12:43 AM
There is no luck involved in trading. Only using a waterproof strategy, a good bankroll management plan and some balls of steal.
I agree with you that luck cant make you profitable if you have not appropriate knowledge, skill and experience of trading. Without proper knowledge if you trade there is about 99.5% chance to be loser.
Of course, luck does not take an important role here. knowledge and skills are the most important aspects of trading.
without these two things, what you will produce is a loss. market analysis and so on cannot be done only by luck
- I don't think so, luck still has an important role here but it can not compare with our knowledge, skills and experiences because luck is always an unexpected factor, we can not know the exact time it appears, while skills and knowledge are always the elements that exist forever beside us, and exactly as you say, if we don't have these two things, our loss rate is very high. In short, if a person who lost one or two times in trading, they may blame luck but if they lose too many times in trading, they should review their knowledge and experience, they can not continue to say that their luck is not good
If luck play important role and has a big effect, can you rely on that luck 100% without the help of other aspects?
because what is said to be important, that you can depend on it, such as knowledge and skills. in my opinion luck is only optional
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 22, 2019, 04:54:27 AM
Maybe some people would, maybe I would also take a loan but I do not like to owe money to anyone, even banks or loan givers. If I want to buy the dip, I will do it with my own money if I have enough to buy, if I don't have the money, I jill just skip that opportunity and wait for another one.
That's a good idea, especially crypto investment is also something risky, Im afraid that when you loan with someone, you can't pay it because of big interest and the like. I also agree more with investing with the amount you can afford to lose, if you make a loan, of course it's already out of your financial ability right?
I think we all hate to accept loans in this case. maybe the only way you can do is save from now on. well, that would certainly be really useful when you see something good enough to use. well, maybe some people make loans, but I don't want to be one of them.
That is what every investor must do, at least they have a backup of funds that are ready to be used at any time. so that when the price falls You can use back up funds to buy at a lower price, every investor or trader must have that plan. so you don't need to borrow funds from other people for this
