We will need to iron out some details and delegate a team to handle canvasing and networking efforts with established organizations that would be willing to align themselves with our efforts.
I am proud of this community
Good job You guys are awesome

the dev himself was negative energy..now we have MyFarm's positive energy back.

AND....the positive energy of the new dev.....who.....and get this.....listens to the community!
The community is the heart of the coin and ultimately the make or break hinge. Without the community the coin itself holds little value.
You all are the most important part of this.

MyFarm has a great idea which can lead to a great trend.

I would also like to input an idea which could help fund DRM.  I got this idea from the Ronald Mcdonald Dream House Raffle.  Let me know what you guys think about having a monthly/bi monthly Dream Wish raffle. Tickets can only be purchased with DRMs (each ticket is $5 to $10USD worth of drms at current market value) and prizes can be anything from GPU's, Miners, BTC's, DRMs, Gift cards, etc.  It all depends on how many tickets are sold with 5% - 10% taken off the top and put in the development fund.  What do you guys think?  I think it would attract a bunch of people if we had a raffle for like the KNC Titan Miner.  I'd buy a few tickets.  Just a thought. Grin
This is another good idea...

Keep them rolling dreamers Smiley

Myfarm i like your ideas please contact me directly so we can iron out a frame work and set up logistics
Excellent!  You've nothing but impressed me.  If other members of the community are onboard, then I'll contact you and we'll get the ball rolling.
Thank you. I am a firm believer that it is the communities ultimate decision. This is one of the fund raising ideas i can get behind

I understand your idea and desire to do it, but you NEVER gamble with bounty money.  If this, "Broker" was such a good trader, I assure you, they wouldn't be taking small time bounty funds for a share of the pie.  If you're truly good at equity trading (cryptocurrencies or otherwise) there is so much money to be made on your own that you don't bother with such things.
My thoughts exactly

Couple things........

When we relaunch on Monday, one thing we will have to do is have a new reddit sub created.  The current Dreamcoin sub (http://ss.reddit.com/r/Dreamcoin/) is moderated by Carsen, and that could be a bad thing.  I don't know if there's a way to have that one deleted?  But since that is now taken maybe go with something like DRMcoin?

Second....for anyone that is on the fence about jumping into the NEW and improved dreamcoin, I will say that the wallet is one of the best out there, with no flaws.  With only 1.75 million coins and no mining since we are in the POS phase (so no miner dumps and it's an energy efficient coin), and coins staking at 15%, it's awesome to watch your balance grow.  For example, in the last 24 hours, I've had 13.5 DRM added to my balance.  The price seems to have stabilized around the 4-5k satoshi mark, before the relaunch, and I do believe that all the dumpers are gone (for the most part).  It's a GREAT price to get in, with real upside potential.  That 13.5 DRM addition to my wallet through staking at the current value of 4987 satoshi, ends up being 67324.5 satoshi.  Not bad for just interest!  I've had 99 staking payments deposited in my wallet during this 24 hour time period, and all but 3 have been confirmed.  Those 3 show the status as being conflicted.

Also, the buy support on Polo is 3.27 BTC.....the highest it's been in a while.

For reddit go for DreamcoinDRM, so it will pop up on google if someone searched for Dreamcoin.  Price is way undervalued. Been picking up a little more the past few days.  Still waiting on the Dream Pool.  Not sure what's the status on that.  Anyways, everything look good and bright for DRM.  It's a definite BUY right now!
i agree  a new reddit facebook and reddit are alll good ideas. I think that Carsen runs the reddit and the twitter. I am not sure about the facebook but it's good to know who has them and better if they under the dream teams control.

For the time being this is where we are at https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=495
more coming in the future.
Lovecoin was dead we just recently revived it

The important part is that the coin is solid now with better stats. Some of the development tasks will take time. I will be working on other marketing efforts in the near future in the meantime spread the word and get the social networks buzzing. We need people.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Dreamcoin [DRM] - X11 - PoW/PoS on: May 24, 2014, 05:01:36 PM
I haven't heard anything from Carsen and I am seriously doubting that I will. Maybe he'll surprise me. I'm more focused on the future than the past. We made it out of what could have been a death spiral fairly quickly. Now it's time to climb
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Lovecoin Revival 100% Proof Of Stake on: May 24, 2014, 04:56:10 PM
this coin is with a lovely name. dev team need to do more work to boost it.
We brought lovecoin back from the dead and gave it better legs to stand on, It is up to the community to adopt and build around it.
there are plans in the works but only so far that we can really make something go with the resources available.

I am personally giving away 10000 of my own coins for the building of the social  network.
We have other development tasks we are working on
you can refer people they can refer people
soon we can start looking for merchants

This is something I think we should make early focus on https://coinkite.com/faq/alts
They are not holding a vote for new coins now. However this should be a high priority fund raiser before they even open to new coins so when they do day one we can put down the money they require....
just my opinion but it think it would do more than any anon feature could...

How does Coinkite decide which altcoins to support?

We ultimately make a decision internally, but we use this list as the minimum requirements and we still reserve the right to choose any altcoin for any other arbitrary reason.

Must have a fiat to XXX exchange—at least one somewhere in the world.
    Two or more BTC/XXX exchanges.
Be based on bitcoin source (ie. nothing wild like ripple).
Not have a obnoxious name that we would be embarrassed to say/promote, and a commonly used three letter code.
Preferably, have a block interval of >1 minute.
Must have a blockchain explorer we can deep link into (bonus: reliable and fast).
Addresses that are not confusing compared to bitcoin (ie. different first letter is needed).
More than one major mining pool: cannot have a single pool operator controlling all blocks.
Must have client binaries for major systems such as OSX, Linux.

Finally, we need you to put your money where your mouth is! We've setup a pool for each candidate altcoin, and the first which accumulates more than ฿25 in value wins. You can vote by contributing coins, or simply by increasing the value of your altcoin relative to Bitcoin on the exchanges and in real life.

Up to 75% will be used to fund development and testing costs, and remainder donated to a charity of our choice.

Alternatively what if we use the money to day ALTs, make more money and then split money into things we need. for example 25 BTC donated today put into BC at 15000 would have yielded 50 BTC, etc.
This is just no. If people want to gamble their money they will gamble it on their own I will not do such a repulsively risky act.
Please stop posting

It's good to see some recovery in the market Smiley Once we have a multipool up and running we will be doing that much better.
Right now I'm waiting on replies on both a new block explorer and the multipool.
I will keep people updated as i receive the information.

We are in good space now, and things are looking promising. The past is the past, But i also will address issues head on, and will always have an honest direct approach.

Guys why are some of you hating on me? What did i do to the old dev Sad please try to understand what happened before criticizing me and apologize. "Think before you speak"
You couldn't leave well enough alone and the first thing you did as soon as it was mentioned that he was fed up was chime in with another comment.
I am not saying that the actions on Carsen's part were a correct response.
However you were responsible for this ultimate emergency action.
You deserve no apology and yourself should be apologizing to the community and the losses they accrued due to your childish actions.

Since the topic of bounties has been brought up i wish to address this now.
I do not like bounties. I feel they appeal to greed and generally lead to sub par work.
I however am not against community lead initiatives. If the community is wishing for a feature or an article produced We can come to a consensus vote on it and start a fund raiser to hire the people needed. I will create a transparent process for doing so. Where we will know the price of the product/service and will keep tally of who donates and what they donated. Steps will not be taken forward until monetary requirements are fulfilled that will have deadlines attached to them. If fund raising fails to meet goals refunds will be sent back to the original senders.
This is the best way to make sure that any objectives set are done to their most optimal of capacity.

Public services and donated work are always welcome and if the community wish to donate to you for your private efforts that is by choice...

Donations are gifts not bribes

There are no bounties started at this time we are in the middle of restructuring. We will see what may come in the future.
