too much hype for an artificial increase in value, this will only make the price fall harder. cat prices have no reason to be this high again, network hash is still almost nonexistant, no coverage, no merchant, it's just a manipulation done by either the dev team or big holders (*cough* LeoC), still very glad to see cat's still kicking.
It is still a really small coin, has not even hit 1 million market cap yet. It does not take much to push a coin to 1 million. People won't start adding merchant support till it gets around 8 mill + some good news coverage. Catcoin died? my wallet stucks at 9 hours left.
I haven't gotten any confirmed transactions from Coinium since January 17.. over all hash rate is low and team catcoin has most of it http://catcoins.biz/charts/i don't know if that's hurting anything... coinium will pay out we just don't have the hasrate to do all the verifications quickly as it sits they owe me 200 cats my wallet is also saying it's 8 hours behind and i haven't closed it in weeks... |

hello all, sorry i've been preoccupied with other life events and just a minor bit tied up... anyway we should be promoting the places we can use catcoin such as http://brownboxtech.net http://pocketrocketscasino.com or any other from https://www.coinpayments.net/store-directory. as i said i've been busy, yet still promoting. it will be another week until i make it home. i've had my rig pointed at the same pool since day one and haven't sold a single cat... we truly need developers to get a mobile wallet and to resolve the mac os wallet issue... but really get the word out that there are places to spend your cats and in your real life start introducing people to the world of cryptocurrencies and on a side note anybody that has been coin hopping should have no say in this coins future, if your machines are pointed at something more profitable keep them there and leave this coin out of your sight we need dedicated individuals to pull this coin to profit, not raiding parties of vikings... i'm working on things even in the midst of mourning the cat will survive...  |

which version are you using? v0.8.7.0-beta 20290 was the fork block, you have the right client, i would wait a while isf it has a status bar, otherwise i would uninstall re install... |

I don't know what to believe anymore, the official net hashrate is way off and this isn't that accurate either. I doubt the difficulty will be that high at the next retarget though, it's only been like 2-3 blocks since the diff spike so the difficulty estimate is probably a lot higher than it truly would be. it will probably be lower than the current diff. personally i would like to see this coin succeed i am not a major holder i hold less than 2k coins many of which are being applied to real world promotions. i've been here since the beginning. i didn't want the fork i felt it was feeding in to a sort of extortion from the miners. i sat in the same pool the whole time i mined through the difficulty 172 i wasn't bitching this isn't profitable. anybody who believed in this coin wouldn't have cared that it was profitable today. i know of people behind the scenes that have been making things run trying to keep things in balance that the way the fork was done completely undermined their efforts. this all being beside the point. now as i watch the panic sells pissing matches and whining fits of butt hurt sell offs, i can only say if you believe in the coin hold onto it. i'm not selling. i'm working. i have ideas to spread the word to get it out to the world canvas the community where you live flyers paper wallets. find shops that are open to the idea of crypto. and for those that don't know and are new explain teach broaden their perception. our coin has the potential to be one of the strongest on the board.  |
