When were they bought ? I think that putting their age can help the potential buyers buy or not. Also, there's no possibility at all to sell also the PSUs with them ?

Hello, i have collected them in time, some were used, some were barely used. I can't tell how much old they are. I suppose year and half at least. However for the S3 especially i would not be interested for the age as those are the hardest miners to kill and the stable ones. For 8months with me i don't have died miner. I got new controller and that's all. For the PSUs i have another plans related to sweet GPU deal so i would need them.

Ok, so since the PSUs can't be sold with it, could be the price lowered ? And can the shipping costs be paid in bitcoins ?

Shipping could be paid in BTC, i don't mind. About price i have lowered them already but if you are serious PM me offer.
Tomorrow i'll "visit" miners so will give you photo with username if it's so important Smiley.

149  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Offer on: October 16, 2015, 08:58:49 PM
IS there even a such thing as a R9 190X or is it a typo and you meant R9 290X?

sorry, i mean the R9 2901X

don't even want to comment the price as on local market this setup is around 1100EU max - my question is: how do you manage to power 4 x 300W cards with 1 750W PSU ? OR we don't see something ?
150  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS in EU] >> 42 x S3/S3+ miners << on: October 08, 2015, 08:59:07 PM
even with 0.04$ power rates I wouldnt buy these miners at that Price.. its too expensive for it to make ROI anytime soon.

Best bet would be to drop the Price and hope for a local pickup.

a little math that everyone can make:

Quote
## used S3 (delivered in a week)

power bill  = 420$/month
20TH * 0.008 = 4.8BTC = 1150$
profit = 730$

if sold for 19BTC = 4560$ / 730$ ~ 6.23 months for ROI at current diff, so probably around 8months total

## new ANTMINER S7 BATCH 2 (delivery end of month)

20TH = 4 devices = 6400$
power bill  = 140$/month
20TH * 0.008 = 4.8BTC = 1150$
profit = 1010$

6400$ / 1010$ ~ 6.33 months for ROI at current diff, so probably around 8months total

I don't charge your opinion, you are correct, but i don't pay electricity so for me the math is little different.
Peace,

You can't compare an S3 which is very inefficent at 0.8W/Ghs to an S7 which is very efficient at 0.25W/Ghs.

You are comparing a Honda Civic to a Mercedes S class pretty much.

I'm not comparing, i'm showing ROI math, please don't spam with irrelevant updates.

@HmmMAA - sure, there are pros and cons in every way but let's not try to steal the "thinking" part in everyone's head.
I'm here to trade, for other discussion i'm open on PM. Sorry for the spam.

can someone help me out, two of my machines are hashing but don't appear in any available pool which i tried, setup is the same like other machines: -regenerated dag files -checked that i don't have matching speed -checked that my worker names are the same newly fired up miner generate DAG and start hashing, even after 6 hours of waiting i still don't see anything in the pools, what could be the reason ?
159  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: World biggest bitcoin /SHA256 miner 7.7T@3400W on: August 19, 2015, 11:12:30 AM
One technical question I have:

- What i know/heard is that when you have one dead chip in S5 device the whole blade will stop working, where this is not the same on S3 devices.

Is this true and does it mean that because of bad cooling (let's image) you kill one chip from the blade the whole blade would stop working and you have 1/2 of S5?

Please someone confirm this.

Best regards,
