61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: February 03, 2017, 08:26:14 AM
I cannot get the pool synched back to the "other" chain, looks like not everyone has updated and there are still invalid blocks sent which are rejected by the newer daemon.

Well, thats what you have with new technology, this is not a well known and good working Bitcoin based coin, it's a new source based on Pascal with all the exploits available fixed in bitcoin versions Smiley

I'll try to get switched to a backup node running the old version.

thanks for the actions taken, 1 hours ago i had Unconfirmed: 249.6551 PASC, does it mean they are gone now ?

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone find PasalCoin Blocks Yet? No luck with 50GPUs (36 hours mining) on: January 27, 2017, 01:03:54 PM
I have found 3 blocks. in last 24hrs with 39 gpus. Now only one actually shows up in wallet. On rig 9 it shows one found with one error. On my rig two i posted a screen shot yesterday but the block never showed up in balance. Then overnight my rig 6 hit and it deposited 5 accounts and 101 pascal coins. Idk what is going on.

what GPUs are you using and which miner version ?
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: January 27, 2017, 11:34:49 AM
Pascalcoin miner 0.2 working  1 day , added the-t 10 restart and 12 minutes later was Found a block with an error( is this normal or miners working in an empty?
If all blocks you found is the same error... then sorry, it's not working on your GPU  (try -t 15 to test it more quickly)

do what?

That's ok, you're mining properly and "perhaps" you will find a block. Good luck!

so -t is only to verify, not to keep it all the time right ?
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: January 26, 2017, 07:33:26 PM
PASCAL MINING PROFITABILITY CALCULATOR

Check the target.  Currently its 30416083

Take the first 2 bits "30" and change from HEX into DEC and you get 48

Take

2^48= 281,474,976,710,656 hashes

Now look at the 3rd bit, its 4. Take 4 / 16 = 0.25

Take 0.25 * 281,474,976,710,656 = 70,368,744,177,664

Add that to the original 2^48

281,474,976,710,656 + 70,368,744,177,664 = 351,843,720,888,320 hashes on average to find 1 block.

If your farm is 1 GH/s

351,843,720,888,320 / 1,000,000,000 = 351,843.72088832 seconds to find a block

Or 5864 Minutes to find a block

Or 97 Hours to find a block

Or 4.07 Days to find a block.

-----------------------------------------------------------

How reliable is this?

Also, in case of the 3rd bit is 'A' does that mean 10?

Yeah so  175,921,860,444,160 + 2^48 = 457,396,837,154,816

So it moves up to

457,396.837154816 Seconds

7,623.2806192469333333333333333333 Minutes

127 Hours

5.30 Days

All while based on the same 1Gh/s hashrate...

i like this math, however 70GH are not able to produce me even a single block last 8hours, don't think it's luck.
All miners are connected, Node have 99 connections, no errors but no blocks also... how can this be possible if based on the math above i need to produce 1 block every ~2hours ?
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PASC] PascalCoin, deletable blockchain & bank account system [PASA] on: January 26, 2017, 04:42:39 PM
10 GTX1080 (Zotac & Asus) the Zotac doing 1GH/s per unit the Asus even on same speed just 860MH/s
2GTX1070 at 750MH/s

So in total if I count correct it is 6GH/s for the Zotac ~ 3,5GH for 4 Asus and 1.4GH for the GTX1070s

The cuda miner is somewhat complicated to setup

how much time till you got this block with this speed ?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner Launches Global Sales! on: January 24, 2017, 03:53:40 PM

stupid question - since the HW itself is standard (yes mobile edition) can't you just re-install the miner to run with English version of Win10 and configure it again ? I don't see roadblocks. What is the reason to stick to the original OS ?

The windows licence.
well licences Win10 in Chines is better than illegal Win10 in English? We all know % of ppl that pay for software...

From what I gathered in the other threads on this you need Win 10 Enterprise in order to support 8gpu's.  So unless you happen to have an enterprise edition laying around that may be the reason for not replacing it.

I don't recall if anyone mentioned that there were any special drivers or anything needed if you do have to reinstall the OS.  So I don't know about dependencies.  If it is just a simple reinstall of the OS that would be great.  It would then just be the logistics of running down an Enterprise edition of Win 10.  Does anyone know if the 90 day trial version stops functioning after the 90 day?  Would it be a suitable replacement for the Chinese copy on these machines?  https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-10-enterprise

well, trial can be used for almost 1 year for free:
1. When it's about to expire open CMD as Administrator.
2. slmgr -rearm
3. Reboot
4. Repeat = 4 times per 90days each

voala

Phil,  Does the Pandaminer run smoothly on XMR/ZEC/ETH/ETC?  I know earlier it was reported some things didn't work.  Is everything working now?

I am trying to figure out if these things out of the box are ready for deployment in a hosting situation or if they need reworked to be useful in that kind of environment.  At the moment I am busy buying other things, but I would like to loop back some time this summer and start adding the PM's if they are ready for prime time.

Xmr and zec are solid.

Eth is good at full speed fans.

Right now the hardest thing to do is switch Chinese to English.

I never tested etc do not know.

I like mining xmr pretty good for mining it. 5950 h at 990 watts.

Eliovp mod   Linux rom is 6500 h  at 830 watts. Big improvement.

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are your solutions for fake monitors on rigs on: December 25, 2016, 02:04:14 PM
You can use hdmi -> dsub adapter and put 100 ohm resistor across pins 1 and 6.

mate just to let you know this converter is working without resistor because the signal is converted anyway from diginal<->analog. Just plug it without resistor and you will see it works Smiley
@mettalmag - send me a PM and i'll let you know cheap offer. Just think about how to import those to Georgia Wink
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source ZEC (ZCash) GPU Miner AMD & NVidia (up to 45 sol/s on RX480) on: October 28, 2016, 08:13:34 PM
@eXtremal 0.001 min payout?  Cool Huh
Sorry all for 0.1 payout I can't predict poloniex ZEC/BTC rate Sad Can't do it so quickly.. or I can reduce default payout for new addresses.

when to expect payouts for other users ? still waiting 30min to receive the minimum 0.10 ?
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS - v1009 - RX OS more stable on: October 27, 2016, 08:44:33 AM
Yeah, but i am making modifications of your rom which you sent me.
Not those ready to use and not working on other cards roms.
That is the big difference.
Also this require to test mamy toms taht i sent for testing.
Each more and more undervoltet until it becomrs unstable.

you are not serious..... also this is off-topic and this is not the place to put such ads
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS - v1009 - RX OS more stable on: October 27, 2016, 07:33:55 AM
Also special info about CUSTOM ROMS for gpus under Linux:
If anyone is interested in modding rom bios in GPU.
I am doing it as paid service.

Modifications that i can provide For RX470/RX480/380/370
- voltage offset which will decreese wattage of gpu card UNDER LINUX - we can go down from 170 watts to 100-130 watt per gpu card depending on what you are aiming at (measured by watt meter - NOT by GPUz Smiley
(power efficiency and little less MH/s or maximum mining hashrate no mate of watts)
- memory timing modiffications and max OC which will increase speed of mining in ethereum

Price is 700$ for 1 rom.
This includes many testing roms with different configuration, you will need to test each one of them (each one with less and less wattage) and choose which one is stable and best.
If you are willing to pay that price then PM me. The price is not negotiable so please do ask for rom for 5$ please Smiley

Are you fucking serious ? the world has gone wrong.....

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS - v1007 - RX OS more stable on: October 25, 2016, 10:19:54 AM

I understand that you can install it on raspberry, but it would be only you and meaby 2 other people.
Rest poeple are not admins/programing guys so the idea is also not so good.

I guess every human involved in mining is able to flash am image to SD card, to insert it into RasPi and to configure all personal info after start. Especially if there is a nice Readme and a web-server on that RasPi, so the operator will open 127.0.0.1:portNo and control his rigs via his own "master" Raspberry. Don't you think so?  Smiley

p.s. and yes, there is no need to run the controlling part exactly on Raspberry.  Wink

I have the exact same demand to host it on my own for my machines, moreover i can add few other things that are worth monitoring for me. I suppose the web code is pretty simple, jest let us know a direction. The Claymore built-in monitoring is doing the same except that it's only read-only.

Update v1006 - auto update
- Update was mainly for RX series + some cleanup
- you can set core DPM level and overclock memory 0-20 % for RX400 gpus - read details in oveclock menu
- i changed series name from R9 to R to see this more clearly
- Dashboard now shows if you are using R or RX series and version

I have observed that despite my configs my rigs were not mining on my pool but on some other place, moreover DUAL mining. Now because of that of the rigs is with not working PSU.
I swear that if I found you I'll teach you to do updates without notifications to users !!!!! Sick of this ignorance!
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SimpleMining.net Easy OS - new release - RX400 support on: October 19, 2016, 10:25:20 AM
what are you doing with the miners ? all miners started to mine SIA on pool i have not selected ?!

List of the cables supplied with evga 850, they're running eth rigs so I might not have all available cables.

The problem with selling cables is thet the PSU will loose value when resold, so if you're offering 10 bucks thare's no way Smiley

Well it's also not logical to pay for cables like for new PSU, if you are going to cripple your working PSU then probably it's not good idea. My idea is for something around 1ETH for cable per PSU, so total 2ETH for the two kits, shipping on me.
