Hi, great tips. I agree with almost all of your tips. Maybe somebody would tell you that trading in btc pairs instead of usd pairs is better only in a bull market. When btc value is in long term increasing. But many of us believe in crypto. Many of us believe in long term bitcoin. So we know that every bear trend will end. If you increased your btc holding with btc pair  tranding you will be rewarded sooner than later.

Technical analysis can be very usefull , yes! But it also depends on other things, like who made that tehnical analysis. Some experienced proffesional with high score history or some wannabe unexperienced new trader.

I think that this huge pump was mainly result of  twitter rumors about possible listing on okex exchange. Stating on their twitter how usually okex listing brings 300% gains in the period november 2017 - feb 2018. Yea, threy are saying that on their twitter. I believe this statement made a lot of people fomo.

They are trying to give their product at minimal price. Their goal is to encourage using and adopting crypto currencies for mass adoption., by using their product. Making it so simple to buy anything with crypto tokens. Everyone who buys their product must pay with their pundi x token and then that tokens are burned.

Majority of those listed altcoins are sponsors. Some of them will have representative speakers there. That's why i listed these altcoins.

Many buyers on Bitgrail exchange couldn't withdraw their Nano's. So i wouldn't call them stupid. Bitgrail exchange didn't like much withdrawing from their exchange.

This is a good thing for the older members and bitcointalk community. To prevent new comers with low quality posts. Since they discovered bounty programs many are coming here only to rank up fast and get as many rewards as possible. Now it's harder for them. New members who are here for bitcointalk forum and not for the bounty, will likely stay. Those who are here only for the money will make it harder. Bitcoin community and early members are rewarded. There are some abusers who were lucky enough to rank just before this new ranking sistem. But hey, you must start somewhere and protect your community.

Asking those questions about how to get 100 merits can show that this is your focus, your goal. Someone who is here only for bitcointalk forum doesn't care about merits. Ok, maybe a little bit, but it won't open new topic asking how to get some huge amount. You can talk here without that.

There are already some good tips here, mentioned by other users. I could add my strategy which i find quite less stressfull and it's a combination between holding and trading. It's called swing trading. One of the strategies is to trade between 2  moving average lines. (MA's cross). On the daily chart, you look for 20 day moving average  and 50 day moving average lines. (MA 20 and MA 50)

 When they cross bulish, it's time to enter a trade until you see it will cross bearish. The bulish MA cross happens when the MA 20 and MA 50 make a cross and MA 20 goes above the MA 50 line. The bearish MA cross happpens in the same way, just that the MA 50 line goes above MA 20 line. Usually you also need to consider other indicators as well. But this method helps.

Ok guys, i was reading this and some of you mentioned scams like EthBooks. I checked ICO reviews for their project on the other ico review site. Usually, a good ICO has many positive reviews. Some of ICO's get also negative reviews. But this one, this EthBooks ICO, they got noone! No negative feedbacks, no positive feedbacks, nothing! I advice you to check ICO's before you spend a lot of money and your time on them. Make your own research before. I'm aware that there are some scams but in this case you could easily surpass them. Hi. I am also a fan of EOS project. I believe in this project in the long term. In the short term most of altcoins depend on btc moves. Altcoins just love when btc goes sideways. I gave you this link with my Eos/usd graph lines. What to watch. On a daily chart eos got bulish ma 20 and ma 50 crossing, some days before. Now we need to watch btc how it's gonna react to 8330-8400 usd level.

Hi. Congratulations for your gains in the bull market. However, it's way harder to  gain in a bear market. You're saying that you would never forgive yourself if it goes down and not selling. It's a traders dillema. You could also be angry if you sold and then the price skyrocketed after that. My advice is, if you hodl so much value in crypto, that you find some more experienced traders with a good TA analysis reputation.

Many users here are talking about highest peaks, to sell high, buy low etc. It sounds easy but it's not. Everyone knows you should buy low, sell high but most of unexperienced traders doesn't know when is the right time to sell or buy. So how can you be sure  when the price is high and it won't go even higher? Or when the price is low that it won't go even lower.
You could never know that 100%, but you can help yourself with tehnical analysis with some combination with a fundamental analysis.
Those analysis are not correct all the time but if you have some TA experienced trader you could predict important lines and make some important trading moves based on that. I like to swing trade. It's less stressfull than daytrading. But daytrading can be fun too 

Day trading. It can be very risky for non experienced traderds. Even if you are experienced there is still some risk involved. Noone is daytrading without risk. All you can do is to reduce it as much as possible.

If you wish to use signals, try to avoid pump and dump groups. Try to find some tehnical analysists with a high rate of sucessful trades. Swing trades are more safe than pump and dump fast trades.
If you use p&d groups you should be very carefull cuz many will buy before you, buying huge amounts and then dumping when the price goes 2% - 5% up. If you get in late,  it's high risk that they will dump on you. Swing trades are better in my opinion.
