1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Real Bitcoin Lottery - scam or legit? on: September 24, 2024, 05:19:48 PM
Hi. I found something like this:

https://www.bitcoclub.com/

They offer 2 BTC to win. It's already deposited on the address you pay for the tickets. Do you think it is legit?
I guess many have reported the site, I cannot access the site; it was marked Phishing site; By my anti virus and checking on Virustotal, many AV have marked it so access is restricted on this platform and it will eventually be taken over by its host, I wonder why OP called it a a real bitcoin lottery when it's a scam site

2  Economy / Services / Re: [Survey] Bitcoin Lottery Concept – Win by Mining! on: September 22, 2024, 10:51:29 PM
So where are you now, Are you in a planning stage or do you have a model for this concept, Do you have a domain and already installed the script and configured it.

There's no existing platform that has this concept; maybe in the past there was one, but I guess so many depends on how you present your concept, I'm looking forward to seeing your platform, You need a lot of effort and funding for marketing on this new concept, but I'm sure you will have loyal subscribers if you can keep it up.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does a completely automated/ robot controlled casino centre sound? on: September 22, 2024, 10:27:35 PM

Can this qualify as an idea that may oneday reshape the casino business and the gambling world?

The possibility is not remote, but if ever a casino should implement this concept, they should ask their clients if they are going to like the new concept,

Physical casinos thrive on their clients patronage and the money they pour,, and many of these are there to unwind and to relax themselves and they will have to make a major adjustment and might end up looking for a new casino witht he same ambiance that they've used to see and fee.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Watching the games you bet on is meant to be a part of the fun. (2) on: September 22, 2024, 02:21:13 AM

What do you think? Is it possible for a gambler with a long bet slip to be gambling for fun?

Yes why not? Whatever the case is, a gambler should play for fun, Whether you have a long bet slip, that should not stop you from having fun, its ok to look for profit when you're betting but that does not mean that having fun should take the backseat.

I used to do this I bet on horse racing and, at the same time, bet on boxing, while I was looking to make money but it was fun doing this because of the excitement and anticipation that contributed how exciting it was it was to see the outcome, you having betting a lot.

Whatever you do in gambling, even if you're looking for money, always bring the fun so it ease you up whatever the outcome is.
5  Economy / Services / Re: [END] Cryptomus Crypto Payment Gateway| Set Recurring Payments |Signature Camp on: September 21, 2024, 05:47:10 PM
Unfortunately the campaign comes to it's end. The management informed me that they will evaluate the result.

So soon? I thought they would last longer. Tbh, I don't think the evaluation will be accurate. Five weeks aren't enough to establish a proper result...  Smiley

I second that at least a 10-week campaign will bring a good valuation; honestly, exchanges have less competition here compared to casinos, and about Royse question, I'm ok with putting the referral link, but $25 is quite low. I think $35 is good and will attract good posters.

I hope Royse can strike a good deal.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: There are still really a lot of fools when it comes to crypto investment? on: September 21, 2024, 01:55:32 PM

Maybe these people were probably offered a different job at first, but when they got to the actual work, it turned out to be a scam. They probably can’t leave anymore because there’s a big syndicate behind it. The pattern seems familiar, kind of like the scenario with POGO here in the Philippines.

I call this deceit and exploitation, and another one is what the Chinese are employing to their fellow Chinese, giving them loan after their potential victims lose a lot of money from gambling. They offer the victim huge loan and with exorbitant interest if the victim cannot pay anymore, they kidnap them and forcibly work them on POGO.

That's the stories of many Chinese who became victims of POGO, so people should get familiar or check the background of those offering too good to be true jobs or investment its likely a scam and you will regret later.
7  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending Service Started! (USDT/BUSD/BTC/LTC/ETH/DOGE/ETC)! on: September 21, 2024, 12:27:00 PM

8  Other / Meta / Re: Need suggestions for our local improvement.... on: September 20, 2024, 07:54:27 PM

So I hope you can share some good suggestions because they’re very valuable. It’s like helping to educate people on how to fight scams. Please feel free to comment or give constructive criticism if you notice any issues in our local section. I’ll be counting on your feedback. Thanks!

Hey brother, thanks for creating this thread for our local board. I am also concerned that activity is too low and there are sections where the last posts are months ago.

I don't know if it has something to do with local board limitations of posts due to the campaign some of our brothers in local board are promoting, but we need to keep a new thread coming that will generate interests, and if possible, we need to allocate a portion of merit to our local board since we do not have an active merit source.

I'm just glad that my campaign manager does not have local board limitations, so I can post from time to time there.

10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Germany seizes 47 crypto exchanges on: September 20, 2024, 06:39:06 PM

Many legitimate users were using those exchanges because they are listed on BestChange and were actually performing AML and KYC procedures in cases of suspicious transactions.
Performing KYC on criminal websites is giving criminals your personal data. Assume your ID data to be sold on the dark web now.

This is very alarming and there's a possibility that some of the users are already referred because they are listed on review sites and directories, but why now, They should have taken swift action not to the point that these exchanges already have hundreds of thousands of traders who are not aware that they are trading in a bad exchanges.
The key point here is to always do your research and not store your funds on exchanges, but unfortunately, in this case, many of its traders information is at risk.
11  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto mass adoption sa Philippines nag slow down? on: September 20, 2024, 06:05:01 PM

12  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Banned Crypto Exchanges in the Philippines: Be informed and stay safe! on: September 19, 2024, 11:40:32 PM

13  Other / Meta / Re: Can tagged spammers change and become valuable contributors? on: September 19, 2024, 11:11:25 PM

There are nothing permanent because the users can change the feedback except they were passed away. It just depend on which bad deeds you committed, scams and account sales are harder to tolerate.
If you get the tag, its better to change your way right away if you're intention is to be part of signature campaigns or have a good reputation on the forum because the person who gave you the tag will not take it off right away, they will give you ample time to change your way, and when you ask them to reconsider, they will check if there are changes in the posting style.
Scams and account sales are hopeless cases, its permament unless they compensate their victims
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting cost: Do we really need the latest smartphone? on: September 19, 2024, 10:37:19 PM
But I know some set of people who will always go for the new generation of phones. It is like a yearly ritual that they must buy the latest model of their phone. I have seen some go as far as buying these phones on credit because they don't have enough funds to pay. The most troubling part of it is that they are not using these phones for business or any productive activities.

They used it to have an edge to other people and a sort of validation that they belong to high end society, which they are not, These people are addicted to the latest gadget after the purchase they are saving or try to complete  their credit card payment so they can buy the next model next year, its a vicious cycle, its not actually the features but the model and the name that they want.

Quote
It will not be a bad economic decision to reconsider and adjust our craving for these new products especially if they will not be beneficial financially.
Its their status symbol I know some people who even take out a loan to buy the latest phone; its a sign of being vain I don't think I can do such thing I am more attached to my latest phone and only upgrade if there is a need to do it

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question to the crystal ball. on: September 19, 2024, 09:58:13 PM

I guess the casino campaigns have some years left but I don't see many other sectors that are going to be interested in advertising here, as they have so many alternatives.

So far, at this point of time, casino campaigns are adding up, if there are campaigns stopping, there are new ones coming in and there are a few exchange that launched their campaign that includes the one I'm promoting, The number fo new exchanges in the exchanges announcement is growing; hopefully they utilize the power of Bitcointalk to maximize their presence here.

So far we are doing great with all the campaigns here; its still a mix of casinos and exchanges, and we have yet to see other industries find Bitcointalk as their best alternatives to launch their marketing campaigns.

16  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Cryptocurrency Party List Sa Kongreso Ano Sa Tingin Ninyo on: September 19, 2024, 05:22:12 PM

17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Eventually Binance closed my account on: September 18, 2024, 11:01:08 PM

So you guys must be careful when using Binance and receive funds from unknown sources. And don't store the funds in Binance, because for any mistakes, your account would freeze as well.

CEXs are good at tracing and flagging accounts; its hard to get around them, especially if the amount is so huge, That's also my case in two of my local exchanges, sad part is they freeze my account, and I have to obtain documents that will prove that my funds are clean; its hard to do that when you are not in touch with a guy you traded with; until now the funds are still locked, so if you're trading from a guy you just met online, never use centralized exchange.

I'm now uncomfortable using centralize having two bad experiences, they are making a lot of money freezing funds, and our experience can happen to anybody who is unaware of this.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Intrek Project on: September 18, 2024, 10:11:17 PM
My apologies I wasn't clear.

The website is https://intrexproject.com

Does this look legit ? They say payment option sent via Western Union from agents who have gmail ? Feels odd.

Its a scam; you better. we're sure about that; we have seen so many projects like that before, When an investment projects says that they offer guaranteed, safe investment and offer a very high yield, its an HYIP that are high risks.

No legit company can offer 15% daily interest, they even use a fake widget of people's gain. They even claimed to be an award winning platform when they were only 20 days old based on their WHOIS

19  Local / Pilipinas / Re: iPhone 16 or Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2024, 09:48:38 PM

20  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If You Became a Campaign Manager, How Would You Make a Difference? on: September 18, 2024, 06:23:29 PM

Also, this could be useful for campaign managers right now, whether in Bitcoin or altcoin signature campaigns, they might pick up some tips! Grin

I don't think I will like being a campaign manager, there's so much work load and you have to be very good in communication and know how to properly motivate yourself and your team and you must be good at multitasking. I am ok with helping campaign managers, and I think we all need to if we want to keep projects coming in here to promote.

I am hats off to campaign managers who keep looking for projects and convincing project developers, just to give us work or incentives for being active here.

But if I am given a chance to manage a campaign, I will weigh on quality posters rather than merits. I have seen some great posters but lack merits to qualify for campaigns.
