221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Create a player list of rights on: March 10, 2024, 05:32:07 PM
Interesting, idea for someone who is not into gambling discussion, It is worth exploring, and why not.

I like to post my answer here on the thread about why you created this topic

As a non-gambler I took a quick look at their TOS.  It basically says they can demand any information from you at any time, or withhold your coin, or cancel your account.
They do that because on their terms they are compliant with AMLAC and they don't want their platform to be used as a gateway for money laundering they also have an anti-cheat system to back up their action, their action will defer cheaters and money launderers, its for cheaters and scammers.
If your account is clean you have nothing to worry about unless you're playing in a casino with a bad reputation.

Quote
Is this normal in crypto gambling websites?  It gives all the power to the website with a threat of extortion if you complain. :/
A reputable casino will not do that if they cannot back up their action it will have a chilling effect on other players and they may lose their reputation, a complainant can always challenge that through a third-party arbitration if the casino is reputable they will agree to do that.
We have seen that happen, and there are so many reports like that in the scam section
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 10, 2024, 02:57:55 PM
Drake thought Francis Ngannou would win but Anthony Joshua knocked out Ngannou in the second round of the match of the heavyweight showdown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Drake lost $615000.

https://www.thecable.ng/drake-loses-615k-bet-on-joshua-ngannous-bout/amp?/drake-loses-615k-bet-on-joshua-ngannous-bout

This is proof that Drake is a real risk-taker, Ngannou is the underdog here yet he picked Ngannou to be the winner, I wonder with all the losses he's been getting lately, is he not getting advice to take it easy betting that huge amount and showing it off to the public.
People may think that it is ok to bet that huge amount of money or he wants to prove to people that he can bet that amount and it is ok with him.
Anyway it's his money he is now 3 straight losses with his bets, let's see what he'll bet in the coming Fury - Usyk fight, I'm sure he will bet here, he can't resist the temptation not to.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 10, 2024, 09:42:59 AM

Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?

You mentioned 80% assurance so I'll go for it, I have seen a lot of manipulation and referees and judges manipulating the outcome those deeds are so obvious that you'll want to curse these people so I'll go for it this is gambling if there's a chance to win I need to take it.
There is bad officiating and racism it's the organization's problem you will hate these people but it occurs in any international event why do you bother to be concerned, take a chance to win after you collect your winning, voice your protest.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 09, 2024, 01:01:10 AM
This is a big shocker for all of us, Joshua just knocked out Ngannou in one of the nastiest knocks out we've seen in round two, Joshua took only one straight shot on Ngannou's head to flatten Julius, I know that AJ can win the fight but I never thought this could be this easy.

This is the highlight of that one punch knock out

225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 08, 2024, 06:15:35 PM
Munguia definitely is aggressive, he is very young. He will go for the upset here, but let's see if Canelo can take the young and motivated Munguia.

Young and aggressive fighters don't scare Canelo anymore, he knows how to exploit their weakness, just like how Mayweather exploited him when he fought Mayweather as a young Canelo, Mayweather taught him a lesson in boxing, so Canelo will bring back the favor and do the same against Munguia.

Munguia also has a lot of Mexican fans and this will divide the Mexicans, some shouting Canelo and others shouting Munguia, this is the reason why he doesn't want to fight Mexicans on his home turf, there will be divisiveness.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 08, 2024, 05:04:28 PM
I’d like to see Francis win. Might have to toss a couple shekels his way.

We all are, the event is ongoing right now undercard is on the way and it is 1 am midnight here I don't know if I can keep up I have to gulp a lot of caffeine and energy drink I hope these undercards will be short so we can see the two fights we are all waiting for the Zhang - Parker fight and the much awaited main event between Joshua and Ngannou if this fight was held in Las Vegas it should have been noon in my time zone.

Anyway live updates on the fight here

Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou live updates: Fight card results, ring walk times, predictions and more

Just keep refreshing the page for updates per round and fight.

227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am i bad to this friend if i refuse to loan him some money in bad economy on: March 07, 2024, 10:54:06 PM

Now I am profiting from my Bitcoin investments then and one of my colleagues is now in dear need of financial help, he needs some help, not life-threatening but money, and now I am not ready to loan him any money as long as it affects my overall Bitcoin holdings.

This is a bad time to trade your Bitcoin, you will be disappointed if you give him a loan and you will soon realize that what he had a loan is now 10 times its value, so if it's not life-threatening, just give him a loan that you can afford to give, and ask him to check his other friends so he can complete the money that he needs.
It's ok to say no if the loan is not for a life-threatening situation, just explain to him that it's not your intention not to give him a loan only the circumstances will not you grant his request.
228  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMED by HitBTC on: March 07, 2024, 09:58:19 PM

Yeah, it was like 2017-2018 where we hear a lot of accusations against this platform. Nevertheless it was one of the first exchange that I trade when I was a beginner that time and everything went smooth on my end and I was very happy to do trades with them.

Unfortunately, we hear horror stories about them freezing accounts. I'm not a big trader though, so most likely they didn't target my account. But there are some members who were scams and I was surprised to hear their names again after so many years.

Best of luck trying to get back your coins from them.

I thought this was an old thread getting an update because HitBtc is such a piece of old news for traders, it seems OP failed to do diligent research on HitBtc and there's nothing we can do on this, HitBtc is notorious like Yobit in scamming their users, traders should leave their platform especially now that we are in a bull run, you will lose all your coins just like what happened to OP if you're still keeping your coins on this scam exchange.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: March 07, 2024, 09:10:11 PM

I thought it was a joke I had to do research to see if it's happening big media like Daily.co.uk also have an article about it so it's true unless one of them backs out.
Tyson is still good but he is already 60 years old and Jake Paul can use his youth to tire Tyson, this is a very interesting match, Tyson's last fight was against Roy Jones Jr. and he was so good at that fight but that was three years ago, there's a lot of changes in your body as you're agreeing so I don't think Tyson can do much like what he did on the Roy Jones Jr. fight.

230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo Alvarez - Jaime Munguia May 4 Super Middleweight Championship on: March 07, 2024, 02:39:59 PM
For boxing fans, this is to be expected that he will get Munguia or Berlanga. But he chooses to fight a Mexican in Munguia, but then again where is his excuse of not fighting another Mexican? It is only applicable to David Benavidez? LOL

And with this fight if already finalized or official, be happening on Mexico's day for sure this is going to be hit for Mexicans. Not sure though if this fight can get 1 million PPV, as Canelo last 2 fights, one in Mexico with Ryder was a disappointment and Charlo fight in the US is 650,000-700,000 pay per view buy. He could still be the most chase fighters or the cash cow, but the numbers is not like what it used to be for him.

That's what makes Canelo so different he gets to be paid a lot of money and he gets to choose who he fights, Benavidez from all angles is very profitable and can be considered a legacy fight but Canelo wants to protect his legacy, he already established his name so there is no need to put it at risk.

I'm not a Canelo hater but he better look at Pacquiao he never ducked any fight, he and Benavidez may or may not fight but after they retire, history will transmit that Canelo refused to fight Benavidez and he will have a lot of alibis to give.
231  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW][UNLIMITED MONEY GENERATOR][XINF][UNLIMITED MONEY][PVP][NO LIMITS] on: March 07, 2024, 01:37:30 PM

I've seen so many HYIP and Ponzi schemes and they all have the same slogan and that is you'll get unlimited money it's like you are printing money, we all have to remember when something is too good to be true it's likely a scam, we are not newbies here we can easily tell your so-called unlimited money generator is a scam, if its unlimited money then why not invite your friends and relatives and even your enemy so you all get rich.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 06, 2024, 10:57:20 PM

Of course, there are many indirect victims of gambling addiction. Can you add more?

The community is one of the indirect victims of gambling addiction, the fellowship among the members of the community will turn from good to bad because it breaks the harmony of the community, the community will not tolerate gambling addiction because it will bring a bad image on the community as a whole.
Another one is the work or the company the addicted gambler is working for, because he cannot concentrate on his work his performance will depreciate leading to the company's losses in terms of revenues.
These two are indirect victims of gambling addiction and it will further harm the status of the individual addicted to gambling if he neglects to be a good and productive member of these two institutions.
233  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WAZIRX is a fraud indian platform dont trust it they stolen my 1000 USD on: March 06, 2024, 09:34:33 AM
Your topic did not add any details about WAZIRX or how they scammed you, but a fast search on Google shows that this service is not trustworthy, as they have low ratings on trustpilot[1].
Even positive reviews appear to be fake or paid, generally I tend to think they are scams and adding more details would be helpful.

[1] https://www.trustpilot.com/review/wazirx.com

They have had bad reviews since 2021 and on WAZIRX homepage you can easily spot they are fake, on their media sliders all the names of the popular media displayed are not clickable, if the exchange is real and transparent they will not post media banners that don't include articles about them, this is how scammers work.
And on the Google Play store they have a lot of bad reviews and many of these are just recent I don't want to take this against OP but he might haver missed all these warning signs.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wrx.wazirx

I agree with Hugeblack that you should add additional information this is for reference that will help those who plan to use this exchange to make their decision.

235  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dont chase your loss on: March 05, 2024, 09:32:38 PM
It is best you gamble when necessary not because you want to chase your loss and win back you money, many are victim of this circumstances and for me is a bad practice and this might make you not to employe your gambling skills and roles because you inhast in your decision making. What is your opinion on this?

It's ok to chase your losses as long as you're using money that you can afford to lose, the problem with chasing your losses is after you lose your bankroll you increase your bankroll immediately and deposit that is within your allocation and you are chasing your losses based on your emotion, it's within one's emotion to chase your losses we all want to do this in the back of our, we calculate our previous when we are winning and this is additional motivation but you should control our motivation because we could eventually lose what we've gained.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discrepancies in Casino Experiences on: March 05, 2024, 02:20:19 PM
This is a casino related issue. I feel like some people are lucky. Or maybe this isn't about luck. If you read on this forum and on the internet you will see that there are people who complain about the same casino that you have been playing for years about, being unable to login, unable to withdraw, and other casino issues, and calling these casinos scams. For some of these people, they didn't default on the terms and conditions looking at their screenshot evidence(I know that it is just a few cases). How does it make you feel knowing you've had a smooth experience while others have encountered such challenges?

I'll doubt if the casino cannot give a valid reason or they cannot defend the accusation because for all I know I could be the next one in line, if a casino is that reputable he will not have a problem addressing the issue, he will be more than willing to undergo arbitration if that is needed for the issue to be resolved.

A reputable casino will not even consider scamming 5 or 6 digits payout because they can get that amount if they have the trust of the gambling community, gambler should follow always follow the status of the casino they are playing, especially those who stop addressing complaints of their players, that can be considered a big red flag.

238  Economy / Reputation / Re: Opinions on the word "Vouch" on: March 04, 2024, 10:54:24 AM
Suppose I vouch for someone I have experienced that the person's character is accurate based on what I'm vouching for him, but that does not mean that the information about the guy is correct or accurate. which is why, I never vouch or guarantee anyone when it comes to a loan, If I didn't trust the guy would repay a loan I would not vouch for him because my decision to vouch for him leading to getting a loan would backfire in my reputation.

You can vouch for anyone but that does not mean your vouch is accurate on the character of the individual so you have to make it clear that it is based on your experience of how trustworthy the guy is and not what the real character of the guy is.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 09:44:12 AM

Martingale is the only strategy that I know and I also thought that it would work very well to provide consistent profits to players who apply it and that must be balanced with big capital, but it turns out I was wrong because no matter how huge the capital provided in this system is, eventually everything will run out so there will never be a strategy that can work perfectly to provide consistent profits in games based on luck, maybe it will work in 1x to 2x our game sessions but still, in the end, it will only make us lose all our balance especially if we don't set it correctly like when we implement this in dice games and confidently leave our gaming sessions in automatic mode because it will only be a disaster for the player.

When it comes to luck-based games anything can be applied as long as you do not overuse it and create a lot of variations, why we choose patterns because we are used to them in our daily activities we try to be organized, plan everything, I sometimes have success doing a lot of variations and just rely on luck but anything you should do, you should do it without pressure and it should be fun.
It's fun doing these variations and looking for patterns I tried it myself, but do not overdo it and just put money that you can afford to lose, it's not the task of looking for the right pattern but the excitement of implementing it
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: March 03, 2024, 12:32:47 PM
The high rate of gamblers who take loan for gambling purposes is quite alarming, and most of them are fathers to kids. Most of them don't end up taking care of their debt before passing. What happens to the funds, when the lender comes for his money? It's quite a tough one for a person who isn't a gambler to inherit a trouble from a gambling dad. Such things also increase the anger of the society on gamblers, because the addicts are, also, good at extending their problem gambling to other close relatives. Could it be talked through in the law court?

It's an added burden to the family of the deceased, but here in our country the law protects the lender there is a law that the family of the deceased will inherit the debt, and the properties of the departed should be sold to buy all the debts of the deceased whatever the debt comes from, even on gambling.

This is why it's not recommended that a gambler take a loan because if an unexpected happens, the family will have an additional burden, and if the loan is too big the family will bear the burden for a long time depending on how huge the loan is.
It's better to sell a property than take a loan, a loan should be taken in times of emergency, or if you have a business venture and there's potential profit on that venture.
