401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ryan Garcia - Rolly Romero Tentantive date April 20 on: January 25, 2024, 03:16:41 PM
Unfortunately, the fight will not push it seems both parties do not agree on the deal and the negotiation stopped, Romero will instead fight Isaac Pitball Cruz in the Thurman - Tszyu title fight, I will have to lock this thread and anyone can create a dedicated thread for this fight or discuss this on the Thurman - Tszyu title fight

Rolly Romero will defend his 140-pound title against Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz in the Tszyu-Thurman PPV co-main event on March 30, sources told Mike Coppinger.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ryan Garcia - Rolly Romero Tentantive date April 20 on: January 25, 2024, 01:20:19 PM
This should be a title fight, Rolly Romero holds the WBA super lightweight title, but it's obvious that it was a controversial win by Rolly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaFWzU719fc

But in any case, it's a classic fight, both have power, but I think Ryan will be smart about this fight, he might have learn a lot from fighting Tank Davis. And with Derrick James guiding him and this is their second fight, we might see him winning in a hard fought match. And I wouldn't be surprised if he will catch Rolly with his left hook and knocking him out and then winning a belt at 140 lbs.

I want this fight to happen they are in the final stage of the negotiation, these are two thrash talkers, and when we have two trash talkers fighting inside the ring expect a lot of drama, no one wants to get beaten on their thrash-talking, it's going to be a battle of power and skill inside the ring and a battle of who is the best thrash talker while doing press and media conference.
Rolly Romero's last fight was not that good he was almost beaten by the aging Barroso in a controversial stoppage, while Ryan is very convincing in his fight against
Oscar Duarte.
I have Ryan here winning by knockout, I believe that Ryan can connect his left hook because Romero is stationary and very stiff, he is very careless when moving forward, and he can easily connect that left hook.
403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New macOS backdoor stealing crypto wallets (Bitcoin Core and Exodus) on: January 25, 2024, 12:47:12 PM

What do we learn here?

Never ever downloaded fake or pirated software. You already have a powerful machine in your hand and you have like shell out thousands of dollars already, so why not just buy original software as not to compromise your expensive MacOS.

https://securelist.com/new-macos-backdoor-crypto-stealer/111778/
Safety begins with you, you cannot become a Cryptocurrency holder and investor if you are not educated enough on how to secure your machine, you are your bank, and no one can protect you but you alone, you protect your machine you protect your investment.
So read a lot, get updated on the latest security, and practice securing your machine.
It's attractive to download software that costs a fraction of the original, hackers will entice you to do that so they can control your machine, So do the right thing and save your investment.
404  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Airdrop Hunting on: January 25, 2024, 08:09:35 AM

405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Ryan Garcia - Rolly Romero Tentantive date April 20 on: January 25, 2024, 06:43:58 AM
The negotiation is in its final phase and the news has been leaked that they are finalizing the negotiation if the fight is 100% sure I will lock this thread and I or someone can create an official announcement, while they are undergoing the final phase of the negotiation who you got and will the fight finally push through

Quote
The tentative date for the fight has been announced by a long-time journalist Dan Rafael, and he revealed that the bout is scheduled for April 20 in Las Vegas. This anticipated bout is poised to take center stage as the headline event of a DAZN pay-per-view offering. Moreover, as it turns out, the WBA super lightweight world title will be at stake for this bout. However, he claimed that the fight is still in its negotiation phase.

(...) Am I the only one any help will be appreciated.
I'm sorry for the month-late response...

I think that what likely happened there is that you mistyped your OTP and then got spooked by the badly-worded error message. That error message has now been improved. Wink

Yes, I did, I mistyped it  Cheesy sorry too for not updating my post, I'm now using it and glad that we have this, and thank you for adding this feature here on Bitcointalk.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhilei Zhang vs. Joseph Parker (WBO interim heavyweight title) March 8 on: January 24, 2024, 11:54:52 PM
For this match, I'll go for their history, Parker was beaten by Joyce, and Joyce got beaten by Zhang twice, so Zhang has the motivation that if he has beaten the man who beats Parker he can also beat this guy but we have a different Parker when he fought Wilder if he can do that aggressiveness against Zhang then he has the chance to beat Zhang, but between the two Zhang is the heavy hitter and a more agile fighter and posses a good skill than Wilder so his aggressiveness might not work because of Zhang lightning jab that may stop him from moving forward to attack.
This is an interesting fight too, not your usual undercard it should be a co-main event fight.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transparent dices ? on: January 24, 2024, 11:30:48 PM

If you were invited to a casino to play dices or if you visited a new casino in your town and realized they do not have transparent dices, would you feel like playing there and gamble your money anyways, or would you avoid it?

I believe it would be possible still to make rigged transparent dices, but it would be much more difficult without the proper substances and tools.
What do you think?

You should have provided an article for us to check the veracity of that if it's true or not many of us do not know this, but if the casino is going to cheat they will find a way to do it even if they are using a transparent dice, but I did watch a movie I just forgot the title that they can control the dice and manipulate and spin it but if it's true that there's a probability of controlling the dice and it could happen if you're using a black and white dice then I will remember and ask if possible for transparent dice, it's a casino so I'm sure they have all kinds of dice, if there's no hidden agenda and all the players agreed to have a transparent dice then the operator will have to comply.
409  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Aged Eth addresses/private keys on: January 24, 2024, 04:23:42 PM
Don't be fooled by this "aged address" it's just an alibi. For sure OP is only acquiring Ethereum addresses with unclaimed airdrops, such as 400 UNI. You can check your Ethereum, Cosmos, BSC, or EVM Address: address here for any unclaimed Airdrop: https://earni.fi/
I don't think you can claim UNI airdrop after November 30 2023. He may want those addresses for tax purposes or to give a history for a service. I don't know, but it is better not to sell your own address, especially if it is linked to one of the platforms on which you have completed KYC.

With the high fees, do you pay in Bitcoin? If not, move this topic to the Altcoins section.

You cant claim them, you cant claim airdrops forever. Bumping for anyone that has a batch of addresses.
It's always suspicious when you are offering something that looks too good to be true and you're not telling us why, we think that it is for airdrops or tax purposes, better tell us why you're buying Aged Eth addresses/private keys what's the purpose if not these two reasons I don't recommend people selling their Aged Eth addresses/private keys until OP give us reasons on what specific method will it be used.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 24, 2024, 03:51:27 PM

This opted one of us to say to the champion that.... Oh wow, man, you are professional guesser. Maybe someone like you could be a professional gambling predictional.

I am concerned to ask, can such a person build a gambling carrier with such an excellent guessing prohibition? Or he should trash it all and believe that gambling predictions remains a game of luck?

I have seen one mind reader who could guess what your thinking but he is a miserable gambler, so he just make money for entertaining other people, and you know all these fortune tellers who sometimes make a lot of money from guessing or predicting other people lives if these people are really that good, they should made a fortune by guessing or predicting what numbers will come out in lotto or sports betting or even in luck based games.

they cannot because they are only good at reading other people, but when it comes to circumstances like gambling they have a low average, and they know it an dos they have not tried.
I have known people like this like my neighbor who is a palm reader but when it comes to horse racing I have better winning average than he has.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 24, 2024, 02:01:30 PM
So what experience have you entered in your dream about gambling?
Have you ever won a game from dream?

Please shear your experience.

I have not experienced betting or even dreaming of betting to win a game, maybe because my mind is not preoccupied with my work or business than gambling so I have not experienced this thing.

Although it may sound weird to others I do believe that our departed ones showed up in dreams even if they are still alive and I read and watch these scenarios that their loved ones showed up to give them warnings, bad news, and good news.

This is the power of communication between families they have special bounds that surpass the boundaries of time and space, when you have that kind of dream there's nothing to lose if you do what your loved ones instruct you to do.

413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 23, 2024, 02:58:57 PM
A few days ago, my house was being cleaned. Three people are cleaning the front and back yards of the house. One of them was playing slots and I saw him. Actually, I wanted to suggest he try sports betting because I often see the guy watching football matches and he does have knowledge about many teams. So I was wondering if I could introduce him to sports betting so he could use his ability to predict every game he knows about.

Why not make the suggestion subtle so you will not lead him in a game where we don't know how he's going to perform there's a big difference between betting to win and watching the game, he may be good at watching and giving analysis but very different when he is betting.

Quote
Besides that, I just feel that if he deposited $10 = IDR 150,000 into a gambling site just to play slots, he would probably suffer a complete loss. But if he can place bets on sports betting, there is a possibility of him winning some money on small bets. Wouldn't that be an advantage for him?
You don't know if the guy is not into sports betting or does not want to be in sports betting and besides if he's a real gambler he knows luck based games and sports betting, why not ask if he has experience betting on sports betting if he has then you don't have to do anything.

Quote
If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.
Strike a conversation and between talks open up about sports betting but not in a way that you are encouraging him, there are subtle ways to do that gamblers can understand each other even if you do not directly encourage him.

415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: January 22, 2024, 11:12:15 PM

Do you see this as addiction or just catching of fun?

Whoever created and promoted this encouraged irresponsible gambling It is fun if those involved are friends and the atmosphere is fun and enjoying the conversation, but it's different when there's seriousness in the chat group, fun or not this is not to be taken seriously, we all have to stop gambling at some point and it should be based on your decision alone.
Stopping gambling or continuing should be based on one's decision and not because of the urge of your group or someone who has the authority to tell you to do so, we should decide for ourselves because it's our money and our enjoyment that matters.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Roller Coaster feeling When You Gambling on: January 22, 2024, 09:25:42 PM
And these are my answers to these questions
An hour before going to a casino?
Nothing I feel more excited about than when I am about to log in I do my normal stuff an hour before going to a casino

After logging in and pulling out the games you are about to play?
Feel excited and start the adrenaline rush

While playing?
High moment of adrenaline and full attention to what I'm doing

After you experience successive losses?
Worried because I may not be able to regain my losses

After you won successively?
Relief because I have more money in my bankroll

After you log out whether you win or lose?
Comfortable because I played a good game win or lose I have to accept the fact.
417  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoonClub.com on: January 22, 2024, 02:23:10 PM

About the self-moderated thread: we want to keep a close eye on the thread, and manage it ourselves. However, we can promise you that we'll never delete any criticism, except for spam and promotional messages

You can still do that even if your thread is not moderated, an unmoderated thread is the easiest way to gain followers and support because people will not suspect that you have a hidden agenda, if you did your research you can check that the threads with the most support and good interaction are unmoderated, unmoderated threads can be considered a real community based and friendly casino.
So my unsolicited advice make your casino a community-based casino, get a copper account, design your thread, and be responsive, and you can start by having an unmoderated thread.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: January 22, 2024, 01:42:17 PM
Yesterday was trying to place bet and during the process something in me keeps telling me to increase your wager do you know if you would hit something you never won before.. I was like is this how other people are being controlled by gambling or is it how it works? I said, no wonder some people gamble and finishes their allocation for the week or month. This can even lead someone to also go borrow if this feeling is not killed and stop, you can also see that this attributes in gambling addiction.

However, have you had this feeling while gambling before be it offline casino and online casinos?

So many times I experienced that, but you have to go through this if you want to develop your control, experience is always the best teacher, and the urge to bet more is always there because the mind always wants challenges, this is the only way you can think and you can argue with yourselves when you went through a lot, you can think of your allocation and your bankroll and from that, you will consider what's the right moves to proceed.

You can only think clearly and you will have the right judgment if you've gone through these things, this is the big difference between newbies and experienced gamblers, they know how and when to decide to keep their bankroll and protect themselves from addiction
But it will be ok if you will not go through all this, and develop critical thinking.
419  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: January 21, 2024, 11:51:06 PM

The greater concern lies in the fact that this change led to fewer campaigns, less traffic into the forum,

You have to post a stat to back up your claim, I have always said before that Bitcointalk's massive traffic comes from organic traffic created from thousands of discussions that are indexed by search engines, and with thousands of backlinks Bitcointalk gets massive respect from the search engine

Quote
and the fact that energy is diverted from everywhere else in the forum to gambling discussion, since most of these signature campaigns (including the one that I'm on right now) require their members to post a couple comments in the board. The latter's not necessarily a bad thing as more people means the gambling board can finally get its break from stupid users creating shitposts and shitcomments but at the very same time this takes engagement out of the more important parts of the forum in my opinion. We may not notice it right now but as more gambling sites push for advertisement here it's going to be more and more apparent.
Traffic does not come from gambling posters and gamblers alone some discussions about Bitcoin and other subjects that are years older that able to pull traffic for Bitcointalk.

Pretty sure theymos got's something up his sleeve as what many people here have thought since you can't just issue a massive change like this without weighing in the consequences, but at the same time it's better be good lol.

I'm pretty sure Theymos knows what he is doing he is the Admin he has the comprehensive traffic stat of the forum, apart from the public stat here

420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: January 21, 2024, 11:27:08 PM
Hello senior citizens and my fellow newbies gambler's, now I gat a straight forward question for you all.
How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
Just relax and don't expect anything your first experience should be as enjoyable as possible, only play what you can afford to lose this is the golden rule of playing in casinos.

Quote
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
Never expect profit and just enjoy the flow and learn the system, first-time gamblers expect too much and when they win they easily conclude that there's money to be made from gambling, learn the facts about gambling, what it is, and what it's not.

Quote
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose? Thank you all for your helpful opinions.
Just go with your feelings it's ok to be excited and be disappointed as long as you're not thinking about making money from gambling, gambling is a roller coaster ride with your emotions just go with the flow, just be sure that you come out ok and your experience enjoyable
