1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: September 18, 2018, 04:06:15 PM
Cryptocurrency is not yet 100% legalized in many countries, but are you psychologically ready to use it every day? Are you ready to get paid in the crypto? In your opinion, when will the dollar era end, and we will be able to fully use the cryptocurrency on a daily basis?

Thanks for the replies.

I think the era of cryptocurrency financial domination is now, many countries of the world are fully adopting this amazing technology, however some countries are still resisting the positive change.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no need to panic!!!!! on: September 18, 2018, 03:50:03 PM
The blockchain technology at this stage can be compared to the internet at its early stages, where mass adoption was also an issue. The internet was actually invented in 1969 but didn't get adopted until the 1990s, even then it wasn't accessible to everybody. But it has now become a necessity in every industry and for everybody worldwide.
The blockchain technology is at its infancy stage and it is already making innovations in different industries. Though there are a lot of restrictions against it presently and some nations do not want to adopt it, but it is not a technology that can be stopped and it will surely gain mass adoption with time.

What is your opinion about the blockchain technology?

Yes It's quite true that, the blockchain technology is one of the greatest innovative technologies that come to revolutionized the global financial world, according to John Mcafee, one of the security guru's in the cryptocurrency space, the blockchain technology is like a paradox box that has been opened which cannot be closed again, it has really come to stay. Thanks
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: September 05, 2018, 07:56:21 AM
Lots of coins are coming in every month. But I can't know which coin will good in future,  Always I face problem with my confusion. So, is there anyway to know which coins are good?

Thank You

First of all try to check if the company coin has many users, read their white paper, check their development team and lastly check if they are in the market.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: September 05, 2018, 07:50:21 AM
I mean, is there an exact list of rules that could guarantee that someone who follows them will surely not become a victim of another ICO scam. Of course there are obvious rules like event participation, reputation of team members among ather prifessionals, approve by well-known advisors. But potential scammers also know all these criteria and know what to fake exactly.

Is there a 'blockchain way' to create an algorithm, scheme or set of conditions allowing to recognise and ban scammers? Not government laws way which also good for the market in my opinion.

Would be appreciate a link to an old thread, perhaps I just didn't find it.

UPD Best Advices:
  • learn about previous ICO projects, select viable ones and participate similar ICOs
  • invest in an ICO with a working prototype only

I think the best way to do so is to do more research on the team members try to understand them, read their whitepapers, their roadmap and so on.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: September 05, 2018, 07:37:38 AM
There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???

I doubt if other altcoin can replace bitcoin, because bitcoin has been the most popular altcoin for years and so it is impossible for the developers to improve a coin that will overtake bitcoin and it will take them time to do that, although ethereum is a strong coin but it is learning work where bitcoin is, so without bitcoin there will be no other altcoin standing.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what causes the price of altcoin down? on: September 05, 2018, 07:22:57 AM
give your opinion why altcoin cheap price?
is it time for us to buy altcoin?
why every mid year altcoin is always cheap.

Sometimes is because of the increase in supply of bitcoin, ethereum and bitcoin cash, another could be when bitcoin price is low there is the tendency for every other altcoin to drop down so those reasons can cause altcoin to drop down.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: September 04, 2018, 08:29:06 PM
Tim Draper: More Secure in Bitcoin Than the Money Sitting in Wells Fargo

Venture capitalist Tim Draper is bullish on Bitcoin and believes it will reach $250,000 in the next four years.

During a debate hosted by Intelligence Squared and the Adam Smith Society, Tim Draper was asked how Bitcoin compared with his previous tech investments in Hotmail, Skype, and Tesla. He replied bullishly, saying, “Bitcoin will be bigger than all three combined.” However, Draper didn’t leave it at that — he thinks it will be bigger than the iron age, the Renaissance, and the internet and says that the nascent technology will affect the entire world in a faster and more prevalent way than ever imagined.

The Debate: “Bitcoin is more than a bubble and here to stay.”
Backed up by Patrick Byrne (CEO of overstock), Draper took on Financial Times journalist, Gillian Tett, and Professor of Law, Eric Posner, both of whom argued that Bitcoin is indeed a bubble and strongly contested Draper’s claims. Posner and Tett called into question the “strengths” of Bitcoin, arguing that they could be regarded as weaknesses. Posner suggested that the pseudonymization of identity enabled by the technology makes Bitcoin transactions the perfect vehicle for sophisticated criminal transactions. Tett focused on the risk involved with trusting computers with finance as they can be hacked, are prone to faults, and that Bitcoin is a “terrible store of value.”

These arguments won’t be anything new to anyone who has studied the space, and the rebuttals of Draper and Byrne won’t come as a surprise either. The pair acknowledged that Bitcoin was imperfect and drew attention to the fact the technology was designed to be open source so that unforeseen problems can be managed by the community. Byrne also pointed out that although Bitcoin has been “hacked at” more than anything in history, but unlike banks, it has yet to be defeated.

Draper was more brazen in his responses and implored the crowd to use fiat if they were looking to facilitate their own criminal activity as many Bitcoin criminals get caught. The venture capitalist responded to Tett’s admission that she invests in several different fiat currencies by saying, “I’m so much more secure in my Bitcoin than I am in the money that’s sitting there in Wells Fargo.”

Who is right?
The short answer is it’s far too early to tell, but it is good to see the subject being discussed in this manner. Before the debate, Gillian Tett remarked that if both sides of an argument aren’t heard in the same room, on the same day, then the conversations can “go past one another.” It’s probably safe to say she’s right here because, although there is no shortage of media on either side of the argument, real debate on the subject can be difficult to find.

If crypto is going to head down the road Draper expects, its advocates need to be able to argue their case outside of the crypto community, and debate should be welcome as it not only gives both sides the ability to speak but also the ability to listen.

Draper’s comments are to be expected
As crypto enthusiasts, it’s easy to agree when figures like Draper sing the praises of Bitcoin, but we shouldn’t let confirmation bias get in the way of the issues. Draper is a successful investor, and he hasn’t arrived there without making mistakes. He could be wholly right, wrong, or somewhere in between — the latter is most likely. Draper allegedly owns 30,000 BTC, so he has a vested interest in Bitcoin’s success. That does not mean he is wrong, but it does mean his comments should be taken with a pinch of salt. Well-reasoned arguments are far more convincing than hype and chest beating because they allow people to make up their own minds.

The emergence of DLT might eclipse the impact of other innovations, but for now, the emphasis is not on critics to prove the crypto community wrong. It’s up to those who champion DLT to convince the world they’re right.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: September 04, 2018, 08:17:37 PM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

Solid confidence on the project made me to hold.
Doing some research and understanding too is one of them.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet? on: September 04, 2018, 08:10:49 PM
Hi everyone, I found a service announcement of new wallet platform few days ago in our forum.
Their introduction and vision stated in the post seems to be great and it also attracts me a lot.
However, I still wonder whether I can trust that new wallet.
Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet or they can never stole any coin because they just provide wallet service only?

Please help me if you have experience in this field. Thank you.
This is the link to the wallet that I mentioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4582763.msg41338130#msg41338130

Yes there is every possibility for you to lose your coin when you choose the wrong wallet, more especially when people have access to the private key.

The crypto world is so vast and they are interest from all continents of the world. Some investors / projects came with good intentions to make the world a better place while some to defraud investors and projects founder. Can we have a better way correct scam and lapses?

We can protect ourselves from scam by studying the project and knowing their team members through the aid of understanding and doing more research base on the project and also the team members.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: September 02, 2018, 11:16:26 AM
How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

You can know if bounty is scam through the following ways.
(1) You can know it through the whitepaper.
(2) Through the team members.
And finally the roadmap.

Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?

Exactly i believe crypto has changed the world,as at 2009-the population of people into crypto was not that much but now they are many because of the payment it has been given to people and most people never had a job but with the help of crypto they have become bosses of their own,so it is very obvious that crypto has changed the world a lot.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the mission of crypto? on: August 28, 2018, 04:10:19 AM
I know crypto by the end of 2017. I learned a lot about crypto but I still do not know what it was born with a mission. I have heard many people say that crypto will change the world, crypto will be the future currency to replace real money, crypto will be applied to life, .... I still have not seen many things Applying from blockchain technology instead of paying for some co-payments
 between projects.

Crypto as we all know is like a commodity that looks like gold.
Crypto can be use to send money in a faster way.
Crypto can be used to reduce the corruption in any country.
The mission of crypto is to make money too.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: August 27, 2018, 08:54:19 AM
I think the best way to choose bounty is to first look at the team members.
Secondly look at the way white papper and do some analysis.
Finally look at the roadmap.
17  Other / Archival / Re: How to earn altcoin every days? on: August 23, 2018, 06:18:48 AM

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to all other coins if,bitcoin will die? on: August 22, 2018, 03:43:31 AM
Well to me i don't think bitcoin will die or can die because if it does all other altcoin will go down low, bitcoin has been by us no matter what, so that is to say that it has come to stay and there is nothing like death in it at all.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are other ways to earn? on: August 20, 2018, 09:45:32 AM
First of all follow airdrop campaign.
Secondly you need to follow up bounty campaign like facebook campaign, twitter and signature campaign so as for you to earn more.
