I tried fixing the linux miner issue, even though our coder won't be back for a day. I found ybcminer and changed the nTimeStamp to that of microCoins so in theory it should work, when you compile on linux. Worth a try.

So, you need to run it with other settings? or are the settings included?, cause you can't run ybcminer with the values in the OP.
I know, the startT setting was apparently in the source code. I changed the nTimeStamp from ybc's to mrc's. I don't know if it will work but apparently it worked with some other coin.

All addresses paid so far. Tell me if you haven't been paid or if you think I paid the wrong amount.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BOUNTIES] microCoin [MRC] Bounties Thread - Paying in BTC on: January 16, 2014, 07:29:49 PM
1 faucet done! Nice work. Second should be coming up soon.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 16, 2014, 12:03:57 PM
Just so you people know, the OP says that GPU mining will always be more effective than CPU mining. It's just that the gap between them will get a little smaller.
Status update:
microCoin has its first faucet! Link in the OP, 2 other faucets being made right now.
Another dice game, link in the OP.
Big news related to microCoin should be coming around next week! As for now, more bounties and such.
The website should be up in a few days. There's really no problem with it, it's just that my partner who does all technical stuff has been delayed.
Long story short, he'll be back in 1-2 days.

I plan on launching a faucet in the coming week. (maybe this weekend...?)
Great. Just let me know when it's finished and I'll pay the promised bounty for the finished work.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BOUNTIES] microCoin [MRC] Bounties Thread on: January 15, 2014, 01:38:08 AM
Bounties for faucet site and gambling site both changed to 0.1BTC and web wallet bounty raised to 0.13BTC.
Those who have already claimed faucet or gambling site bounty will still receive the old, higher bounty.

Hey guys, if you haven't noticed, the first microCoin gambling game has already been made.
It's a simple 50% chance game where you have a chance at doubling a small amount of microcoin. There's also another gambling game and 2 faucets being made at the moment.
cryptoga.me

And there's a linux wallet also in the OP, but I haven't tested it, since I don't have a version of linux installed on any of my computers. It'd be appreciated if someone with linux installed would test it.

Also, if you want microCoin to be on Cryptsy, I made a support ticket for it. You can request for it to be added there:
https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/66440

Any suggestions or opinions on how things are going?

I just wonder why you dont combine the giveaway with the cryptsy-vote?

In such a case we might as well ask how much the exchange wants in "donation" to get in on there Grin

Regarding that you dont have to ask cryptsy, they want 5 BTC as usual.

Regarding website and forum, yes and yes we need that both.
5 BTC? Where did you get this information?
