Bounties thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=413805.new#new
Giveaway thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=413824.0

Also, if you want microCoin to be on Cryptsy, I made a support ticket for it. You can request for it to be added there:
https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/66440

Any suggestions or opinions on how things are going?

I just wonder why you dont combine the giveaway with the cryptsy-vote?

In such a case we might as well ask how much the exchange wants in "donation" to get in on there Grin

Regarding that you dont have to ask cryptsy, they want 5 BTC as usual.

Regarding website and forum, yes and yes we need that both.
5 BTC? Where did you get this information?

just rumors here in the forum, but like someone said here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=248137.3

"......they would list a dogs ass if Vern could make a buck off it!"

and thats absolutely true :-)

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think we have more chances of hitting coinedUp first so we should create topic for votes there

I would rather that microcoin don't get added to coinedup. There is so much crap there.

Well, sooner or later MRC will be added there, even without asking... and yes, its not best exchange to start (too many shitcoins who will be dead in a month/two but they = money from air and dump others), but seems easiest.

I agree, if coin doesn't hit any exchange and goes directly to Cryptsy, it has a great start.. like 42 coin for instance..

The risk is, that this coin is not popular with maybe 150-Mh/s atm (normal scrypt ratio) and may never see cryptsy (I heard BigVern requires bribes like few BTC, so if this was not premined then....). If that happens, once we progress with block numbers and gpu mining become less profitable it will become worthless, once cpu guys come in. We still don't know how nFactor works and what speeds we will achieve at each blocks...we asked few times, but dev doesn't want (or doesn't know how) to answer.

I would be carefull about accusing Big Vern for taking bribes.
Most of that accusation is based on an post that was done on the exchange frontend. Which according to Big Vern was an outsider that had posted as him.
That post got deleted and that statement got denied.

Ok, skip that..The main thing is that coins that hit Cryptsy are:
1. Very popular
2. If not popular then after several months (would You risk mining for nothing for few months?)
3. Some unpopular rarely hit cryptsy with not so much community support (why Huh), and they are usually premined, pump&dump.

4. Still no info about block rewards, diff scaling etc. with GPU/CPU at each stage.

I think they should do away with scaling down GPU's, we are the ones that are going to be supporting the network. And its not that the dev does not want to answer, the coder is going to be away for a couple of days. There are only 2 devs right now and I think they should expand the team, this coin is easily marketable so I don't see why coders wouldn't want to join.

PLZ get rid of the Nfactor protocol. I like mining scrypt-jane because they are healthy for my cards, much cooler and efficient so lets keep it that way forever haha
